Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Worship leader Noah…

Good morning, everybody. Welcome to morning prayer.

Sister Barb…

We want you all to be free today, to move with the Holy Spirit in this place as Noah’s ministering to the Lord. Let’s join in with the heavenly chorus. Years ago, there was a minister that was… I was at a meeting and he was ministering and prophesying over people. And he said, “I see dancing angels all around you.” And I thought, “That’s interesting. He didn’t say I see angels dancing all around you. He said I see dancing angels.”

Dancing angels!

So there are dancing angels. There’s so much we have not seen and haven’t experienced. And God wants us to experience that here in the earth. He wants us to experience being with the dancing angels, the worshipers just flowing with the Spirit.

So this morning, I know a lot of you just… I mean, like me, I like to get in my place and focus and “Okay, let me get there in that place.” But once you’re there, get out in the aisle. It’s okay to move. In Him, we live and move and have our being. It’s an easy place. And He loves when you’re ministering to Him, to minister to you, right? It’s a two-way conversation. And sometimes it’s, “Okay, you be quiet. I want to do something. I want to say something. I want to move through you. I want to express myself in and through you.”

So this morning, let’s maybe get out of the pew. If you want to come up to the front and move… you want to get out in the aisle and move… however you move, go ahead and do that. Be free to do that because I mean, we have this amazing minister of music here. I mean, so anointed, flowing in the Holy Ghost. So let’s just yield to the Spirit this morning because He can do so much in such a short amount of time. He can lift and remove every burden. Destroy every yoke of bondage. Now. In a moment. Okay? So come on, let’s enter in.

Pastor Heather…

As I was worshiping, I heard the Lord say, “Some of us are comfortable with the Lamb of God, but we haven’t quite experienced the Lion—the power, the fierceness on our behalf. And I’m the person and can stand up here all day and talk about the love of God because I love it so much and it’s my favorite. But I think we forget that power, the fierceness, the way He fiercely protects and defends us. And we need that. We need that in this day. We need a fierce, powerful protector, a defender.

And I think there’s some people in here who need some things broken off of them today. And, yes, the Lamb of God was sacrificed and He laid down all of His rights and was crucified. So what? So we could access that power.

But you have to cooperate with that power. You have to move. You have to step out. You have to do what He tells you to do. It’s not a laying back. It’s not a passive thing. It’s an aggressive thing. He takes it by force.

Invitation…

So if you are struggling with some things in your soul, if oppression, depression, anxiety, dread, fear… if these things are trying to come on you, He is your fierce defender. But you have to cooperate. Don’t just lay down and let the Devil take your lunch.

You rise up. And you let the Lion of the tribe of Judah roar from inside of you.

Oh, the power, the power, the power that’s available to us, Dunamis power, dynamite power, powerful enough to explode things.

So let’s explode some things now over our lives. Let’s explode some things that the enemy is trying to put on us, on our path. Let’s start declaring some things. Let’s not be passive. Let’s not just wait for the Lord to do it for us. Cooperate. Use the armor of God He’s given you—the sword of the spirit, the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness.

Oh, we thank you. Now we rise up. We wake up as a body of Christ and we start using the tools you’ve given us. We access that power now. We access that power. We’re breaking curses now. We break oppression now over our family, over our loved ones, over our communities. We tell darkness “You must leave in the presence of the light of the holy one.”

Darkness scatters and darkness flees. So we remind you of your place today, Devil. Under our feet.

We are seated with Him in heavenly places. And so we take back that power. We occupy. You’ve left some places unattended. I hear the Lord saying, “Occupy, occupy, occupy. Get in your place, Church, get in your place today.” We’re not cowering in the corner. We’re not afraid of darkness. We have the power of the risen Jesus living, working inside of us. The explosive power of the Holy Spirit.

We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We are above and not beneath. So now we bind those things that are trying to come against the plan of God in the lives of our children, in the lives of our loved ones, in the lives of the staff of Living Word, the congregation of Living Word. I bind it now in Jesus’ name.

No oppression, no strife, no division, no depression, no torment, no sickness, no lack, no poverty. You have no place here because we have all that was promised to us. And that’s not greedy. That’s just receiving those things that He paid such a price for us to have.

Imagine if you bought your kids this lavish gift, and they didn’t appreciate it. They didn’t even use it. They didn’t even take it out of the package.

Show us, Lord, show us… where do we have some things that that need unwrapping, that need to be applied, that need to be used because they’re lying dormant. Show us. Show us. Show us. We don’t just lay down. We don’t just give up because you are more than enough for any trial we face, any trauma we face. You’ve already conquered it.

Know your place, Devil…

Oh, so we remind you now, Devil, of your place. We remind you that your time is coming to a close, so you may not bully us. You may not make us cower in fear. You may not strut around and try to have your way. No, no, no, no, no, no. We put you back in your place under our feet because of what Jesus did. Because of the blood of Jesus. He took those keys away from you, and He gave us all power, all dominion. And so now we do that. Now we walk in dominion over every principality, every power of darkness. So rise up now. Walk in the power that He has given you.

Use that sword in your hand… use that shield of faith to quench the fiery darts. And if it’s rusty, if it needs some polishing, get it out. Polish it up. Get it ready for such a time as this.

Oh, that’s why we’re here, Church, to bring His light into darkness, to bring heaven to earth, to bring His kingdom come. Oh, not the other way around.

So if you need some things broken out for you today, you just access that power. You use your words; you use the Word of God. You speak it out.

I keep seeing people being bullied. Being bullied by the enemy, being bullied by spirits.

Open your mouth! Use your authority. It says the Devil goes about as a roaring lion seeking who he may devour. He may not devour you. You tell him.

We have to get out of self-pity. We have to get out of feeling sorry for ourselves. “Why is this happening to me?” That’s what I hear people saying. “Why is this happening to me?”

Use your authority, speak. Speak! If it’s not good, He’s not done. Help is on the way. Remember your place. Remember who you are. You’re seated with Him in heavenly places.

Oh, I hear Him say, “Come up here and see the view. Oh, it’s a beautiful view.”

Everything under my feet for these troubles are short. They’re but temporary. But My plan is eternal, says the Lord. My power is all consuming. I’m an all-consuming fire. I’m a fierce protector. I’m a fierce defender.

Psalms 18 in the Passion…

Just stay in this attitude of worship and I’m going to read Psalms 18. This are verses 1–20. So just close your eyes and just receive this. I’m reading out of the Passion translation.

Psalm 18…

Lord, I passionately love you and I’m bonded to you. For now you’ve become my power. You’re as real to me as bedrock beneath my feet like a castle on a cliff, my forever firm fortress. My mountain of hiding, my pathway of escape, my tower of rescue where none can reach me, my secret strength and shield around me. You are salvation’s ray of brightness, shining on the hillside, always the champion of my cause.

All I need to do is call to you singing to you the praiseworthy God. When I do, I’m safe and sound in you for when the ropes of death wrapped around me and terrifying torrents of destruction overwhelmed me, taking me to death’s door to doom’s domain,I cried out to you in my distress, the delivering God. And from your temple throne, you heard my troubled cry. My sobs came right into your heart and you turned your face to rescue me. The earth itself shivered and shook. It reeled and it rocked before him. As the mountains trembled, they melted away. For His anger was kindled burning on my behalf.

That’s power.

Fierce flames leapt from His mouth erupting with blazing burning coals as smoke and fire encircled him.

This is for you. This is how fierce He is about protecting you.

He stretched heaven’s curtain open, and he came to my defense. Swiftly, he rode to the earth as the stormy sky was lowered. He rode a chariot of thunder clouds amidst thick darkness, a chair of his steed as he swooped down soaring on the wings of spirit wind, wrapped and hidden in the thick cloud of darkness. This thunder tabernacle surrounded him. He hid himself in mystery darkness. The dense rain clouds were his garments.

Suddenly, the brilliance of his presence broke through with lightning bolts and a mighty storm from heaven with a tempest dropping coals of fire. The Lord thundered the great God above every God spoke with his thunder voice from the skies. What fearsome hailstones and flashes of fire were before him? He released his lightning arrows and routed my foes. See how they ran and scattered in fear. Then with his mighty roar, he laid bare the foundations of the earth, uncovering the secret source of the sea. The hidden depths of land and sea were exposed by the hurricane blast of his hot breath. Then he reached down from heaven all the way from the sky to the sea. He reached down into my darkness to rescue me. He took me out of my calamity and chaos and drew me to himself, taking me from the depths of my despair. Even though I was helpless in the hands of my hateful, strong enemy, you were good to deliver me. When I was at my weakest, my enemies attacked, but the Lord held onto me. His love broke open the way, and he brought me into a beautiful, broad place. He rescued me because his delight is in me. He rewarded me for doing what’s right and staying pure.

And then in verse 28…

God, all at once you turned on a flood light for me. You are my revelation light in my darkness. And in your brightness, I see the path ahead. With you as my strength, I can crush an enemy hoard advancing through every stronghold that stands in front of me. What a God you are. Your path for me has been perfect. All your promises have proven true. What a secure shelter for all those who turn to hide themselves in you. You are the wraparound God giving grace to me. Could there be any other God like you? No. You are the only God to be worshiped for there is not a more secure foundation to build my life upon the new.”

That’s how much he loves us. It’s a fierce, fierce love.
