Morning Chapel Prayer Playlist
Morning Chapel Prayer Today

Pastor Ken…

Good morning and welcome to Morning Prayer. Today is Thursday, November, 2025.

Phil. 4:6–7 from the Passion…

There’s a passage that you may be familiar with in Philippians 4:6–7. And this is the Passion translation. It says, “Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Instead, be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell Him every detail of your life. Then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ.”

Prayer is an opportunity…

Let’s take that in for a moment this morning. Take that in for a moment because prayer is an opportunity. Well, I put it this way one time: It’s simple prayer from ordinary people is what connects with an extraordinary God and brings Him into our everyday world.”

Bill Johnson once said…

“Fervent prayer gives birth to things that wouldn’t exist otherwise.” Oh, that’s good. And so let’s just take a moment here and let’s just lean into the Father with our prayer language here a bit more and see yourself praying out into your future. Remember, prayer is the ability also to pray across time and space, and to pray into the future and to pray things out. So that things can be birthed and come into existence. To pray things out is to prepare the way for us to walk things out.

Prayed…

And so, Father, we just lean into the Spirit right now, into trusting the divine mentor and teacher on prayer, the Holy Spirit.
And we just yield to you, Holy Spirit; give us language now to pray things out and to birth some new things in our future and to make a way where maybe with our eyeballs, we don’t see a away right now.
I pray, Lord, may we make progress now as we pray in the Spirit.
We pray, Lord, that we’ll lay tracks down like tracks need to be laid down for a railroad car to traverse on.
So, Lord, we just pray let there be tracks laid down for our personal futures, for the future of this church. Yes, even for the future of this nation we call America today.

Call out your nation to the Lord…

If you’re in another nation, call out your nation and just now lean in with your prayer language, with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and let’s just see ourselves making a way. Making a way where there isn’t a way for the plan of God to be discharged, for the plan of God to proceed and to go forth now and to prosper even. Yes, in this 21st century moment of time in this generation, the plan of God will prosper.

Declaring the plan of God…

We declare the plan of God for us individually and the plan of God for us collectively, for the body of Christ here at Living Word in America and around the world will advance.
We declare it will advance. It will prosper. It will succeed. It will go forth. We’ll have it no other way in Jesus’ name.
And so we say, I declare right now and we agree for wherever there’s been a blockage or a stoppage in our personal journey and calling where we’ve been hindered or stopped up or blocked up…
We declare today the blood of Jesus be applied. We declare in the name of Jesus, shifts occur. Things are bulldozed out of the way now.
Those voices in our heads, our souls, I declare are silenced right now in Jesus’ name.
And we decree, Lord, a supernatural shift comes in hearts, even under the sound of my voice right now, in real time.
But perhaps you’re listening to this a year from now, a week from now, a day from now, whenever the case might be the Word of God is the Word of God. And we decree and we declare it.
So let it be established in Jesus’ name, every obstacle, every hindrance, every ounce of condemnation, every stronghold be broken in Jesus’ name, every speed bump that has hindered or slowed us down in some way on our personal race of faith, we say, “You be moved, you be bulldozed, way be prepared, way be cleared now.”
Let there be a pathway individually for each individual for Living Word Christian Center.
And yes, even for America, Lord, a new way, paved and prepared, made ready for the advancing and the furtherance of the plan of God, the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mark Brazee excerpt from book, “Processing the Plan of God Through Prayer”

Now let me read something more to you here from Pastor Mark Brazee’s book, “Processing the Plan of God Through Prayer.” He writes…

“In regard to doing business with God… Because that’s what prayer is. It’s doing business with God. It’s having a part in furthering, establishing, increasing His kingdom in the earth realm… in America, in your city, in your home, in your sphere of influence, you’re a participant in expanding God’s plan and His work and what He wants to come to the earth.

Pastor Bill Johnson…

Remember, Pastor Bill Johnson said, “Fervent prayer gives birth to things that wouldn’t exist otherwise.” Oh, I don’t know about you, but that gets me excited. Because I want to see some things birthed today that wouldn’t be in existence otherwise. You better believe that you’re reaping the benefit of many things, including this church, by the way.

Living Word Christian Center, who many years ago, was birthed into existence by a number of people. But in particular, Phil and Fern Halverson, who really laid the foundation for Living Word and the prayer ministry. They were praying out the name “Hammond.” They didn’t even know there was a name necessarily. Maybe they did, but they were praying out in the spirit, “Hammond, Hammond, Hammond” back in the sixties, seventies.

Before Living Word even came into existence, they were laying the ground for Living Word Christian Center to become a thing, to come into existence. It was in the mind of God. It was His initiative. It was His plan all along, but He needed someone to partner with so that a portal could be created. You hear that word a lot nowadays. So that God’s plan in heaven could come into the earth realm. And that people would obey.

Quote by Hudson Taylor…

I think it was the great Hudson Taylor said something to the effect of, “It is possible to move men, or move individuals, through God by prayer alone.” Yes, we all have a will and God respects that will. And you must choose to follow Him. Just like you must choose to pray. Really a choice to follow Him and obey starts with a choice to pray.

Oh, that’s good.

But your prayers make a big difference. And they clear up the spiritual atmosphere around people’s lives because if people could see clearly the love of God, the grace of God, the message of the Gospel, they would not deny it. They would not reject it. They would receive it. Because who would reject pure love and grace and forgiveness?

The Devil’s strategy is to blind and obscure the minds of men…

But the Bible says that the enemy comes to blind and obscure the minds of men, to confuse, blind, and hinder people’s ability to have good judgment about spiritual things. That’s his strategy. And it still is to this day. That’s why he sows all sorts of doctrines of devils, as the Bible says, and false teachings, even ones that sound like they could be Christian, but they’re off enough that they’re really heresy. Because his effort is to blind people from the truth and therefore steal the blessing and the purpose God intends for their lives, for their churches, for their nations.

Prayer clears out what blinds people…

But I’m here to remind you this morning that one of the opportunities of prayer is that it clears out what blinds people and helps them to see so they can make right decisions for God. Just like I’m sure Phil and Fern Halverson’s prayers helped Pastor Mac and Lynne come to faith in Jesus. Because if you hear from Pastor Mac share, he struggled with thinking he could be a pastor. He thought it was somebody else until God got through to him firstly through prayer, but then through the words of Jim Kaseman. But saying to him basically, “Hey, I feel like God has called you to do such and such.” But prayer laid the groundwork for Living Word to come into existence. And prayer will lay the groundwork and make it possible for you to take steps in the plan of God spiritually and practically.

We pray things out and then we walk things out. So if you’re experiencing a blockage or a stoppage in what you feel like is God’s plan for you, or at least the next step, because most of the time we don’t know much more than a step or just to get up and go another day with God today. That’s okay. That’s good. Because the Bible says it is a blessing to believe even though we haven’t seen.

Trust the Father’s heart…

Jesus Himself said that. It’s a blessing to just trust the Father’s heart, to take Him at His Word and follow Him today because of Him and His Word. Because you know He’s faithful. Because you know He’s good and He loves you. Because you know His Word says that He will not let you slip or slide. That the good work He’s begun in you, He will continue it and bring it to a flourishing finish. He’s going to bring the plan for you to a flourishing finish. He’s going to give you another step. But He needs us to collaborate with Him.

Pastor Mark Brazee in his book…

…where he talks about doing business with God, he writes, “Throughout history there have been many revivals or times of God manifesting His power and presence among mankind. These times and seasons of God’s glory have been for the purpose of bringing forth His plans on the earth. Every time without fail as God prepares for one of these outpourings…” which I believe we’re at the very beginning of one right now, an outpouring of His Sirit. “There first comes from heaven a cry of the Spirit. As this generation is rapidly approaching its destiny, the greatest move of God this planet has ever seen or experienced the cry of God’s Spirit is going forth again.”

Do you sense it?
Do you hear it?

It’s not in a tempest of fire or in a blast of natural wind or in a flash of lightning. His calling and His invitation is in the stillness of a small voice within you. Today! He’s calling. He’s calling. His call is going forth.

He says…

“It is the same cry that has brought forth every move of God since the beginning. And it’s the call to pray. It is the call for God’s people to join hands in partnership with Him, doing what we can which enables God to do what He can. And that is, I would suggest the impossible. For all things become possible to the one who will simply believe.”
