Morning Chapel Prayer Today
Pastor Ken…
It is Monday morning and my name is still Ken Olson, one of the pastors here at Living Word.
Let’s receive God’s healing flow…
I feel like at the outset this morning, I just want to read a passage of scripture. I want us to just receive God’s healing flow. Could you use some healing flow in some way today in your body, in your mind, in your emotions, in your soul? Don’t you love the fact that what Jesus did was really become the Word that God the Father sent to earth. He said He prophesied long before even in the wilderness and among those old covenanted people, He made provision that they would be restored and healed and made whole physically in every way. He is ultimately a healer and a restorer, and He sent His Word and healed them under the Old Covenant.
Heaven is a flow…
He sent Jesus to earth as the Word to pay the price in full for us to freely receive what we need today and every day in the way of healing, restoration, a new body part, for cancer cells to die, for there to be recovery from a stroke, a heart attack, an episode in some way whether it be psychological or physical. Aren’t you glad that His healing flow is available? Yes, on Monday morning, His healing flow is available. Heaven is a flow!
Cultivate the mindset that it’s easy to receive…
So I want to encourage you just continue to cultivate a mindset of how easy it is to receive. Our God is a Father, after all. I like to say He loves to dote on His children. He loves to pour out His blessings. He, in fact, is energized and ministered to when He gets to minister from His flow to His children. When He gets to minister healing, for example.
God wants you to see good things are in store…
So it’s going to be really easy to receive. It’s going to be really easy to experience breakthrough this morning. Really easy to see a shift in that situation, to gain and receive a fresh perspective, an outlook on what you’re facing or what you’ve been through, or just your future. God wants us to see that our future is bright, that there’s good things in store. Maybe some good things have happened, maybe not so many good things have happened. But the promise of His Word is that there is hope. He is a dealer of hope. And He’s saying the future is bright for you and for me.
Don’t just sit there and take the enemy’s beatdown…
But we can’t just sit and take the enemy’s beat down. We can’t just sit and take the status quo and accept it. Jesus didn’t die for us to live in this everyday status quo of what we’ve been through and where we’re at. Jesus died for us to have a fight in us, for us to rise up and take our place in faith.
We are to fight the good fight of faith…
The Bible reveals that we’re to fight a good fight of faith, that we might lay hold on and receive freely all that Jesus purchased and fully paid for. There’s nothing else you need to do to receive from your Heavenly Father this morning. You don’t have to be any better. Just take advantage of His blood. Just humble yourself under His hand and by faith, say, “Lord, I believe I receive in Jesus’ name.”
A fresh supply.
Strength to go another day.
Healing for my body.
Restoration for my soul in some way.
Change in a situation.
It’s easy to plug into that outlet in your house and receive the voltage that courses through your house and its electrical wiring. It’s easy to plug your phone in and recharge it.
Well, guess what?
It’s just as easy to plug in to His anointing and heaven’s flow and receive what is necessary, what you are calling for, what you need today—in any way! His power is dynamic. It flows and it goes to what is needed. So I’m just going to be in agreement. We’re going to pray in a moment here that you receive this morning. It’s not okay for you just to stumble along and barely get by. No! We have a full redemption in Jesus.
If not now, when? Today is the day to receive…
The Bible reveals an overflowing supply is available in every way for this life and to lead a godly life, in fact, that we wouldn’t have to go without, but that we could be satisfied by Jesus’s fullness. If not now, when? Today is the day! You are the one He has sought out that you might receive, that yours and my joy might be made full.
Revival is now.
Change is now in Jesus’ name.
Breakthrough is for now.
Deliverance is for now.
Today is the day for that to shift…
If there’s been a harassing entity or just a repeating pattern in your thought life that goes back years, well guess what? Today is the day for that to shift and change. Yes, you have a part to play, not to be better, but to, by faith, navigate through your day in your weeks, in your months, in your next year. How?
By choosing to believe that His Word is so.
By choosing to be fueled by His promises rather than what you feel and what you see.
His Word trumps how you feel…
Yes, we can acknowledge how we feel, but His Word trumps how you feel. If you’re going to go by faith. If you’re going to receive the fullness of what He intends for you.
Don’t complain like the children of Israel who came out of Egypt…
All the children of Israel had to do was navigate through the wilderness. It shouldn’t have taken more than four to six weeks, maybe eight at tops. You had a whole generation of the children of Israel who were called out, were delivered, and they had witnessed things with their own eyes—the might and the glory and the unspeakableness of God’s power and ability to deliver and provide and do so many of the things. Yet, they let the children of Israel, that first generation that came out of Egypt, let their minds and their eyes and their hearts sink to what they knew back in Egypt. They began to complain. They begin to gripe. Therefore, they began to wander and encircle the wilderness aimlessly until a whole generation died out.
Be like Caleb and Joshua…
Except two, Caleb and Joshua, right? Who even in their old age said, “Let’s go up at once for we are well able to take the land.” That should be our mantra. That should be what we say this weekend and every week. “Lord, we are well able, not because I feel well able or because I’ve been perfect, because I haven’t, but because His blood is perfect and His redemption speaks of my perfection and my restoration and my acceptableness and me being a child of the most high God, worthy to receive all that He fulfilled and purchased and prepared and put in store for me.”
I don’t want to get into the heavenly realm, whether I am raptured or I die of natural causes at the end of my race and life and get into the heavenly realm and say, “Wow, I didn’t realize all this was available to me. I didn’t realize there was so much that I had at my disposal on the earth in my call, in my daily life for my finances, for my health, for my wellbeing, emotionally, mentally, for my relationships, for even just things that I desired.” God wants to do that which you even desire.
There’s way more put in store for you…
So just be reminded this morning that there’s way more put in store and set to the credit of yours and my account than we realize. Let’s draw on that today by faith. Let’s have an expectancy that new things are breaking forth, that today things are shifting and changing.
Let’s hold to His Word…
Oh, don’t get nervous if something backfires or doesn’t work out the way you thought it would work out today or this week. This too will pass and can be totally transformed in a matter of time. Let’s hold to His Word. Let’s stand on His Word. Let’s stir up the Word that He spoke in our hearts and the Word that we read that jumps off the pages of His Book. And let’s keep that stirred up in us. Keep it on our lips. God is working through you and me, through our acknowledgement of His will and His way, through our steps of obedience and choice to continue rather than give up or go another way.
We’re living in a small window of time…
As Rabbi Khan said last Wednesday night… and I’ve thought this myself many times. We’re in a very specific and small window of time where God is seeking to wrap up all things in the earth in this particular dispensation. He is wanting to awaken the nations. And He’s wanting to bring you and me and the church at large to a flourishing finish. He’s wanting to just put His glory on full display. He wants His goodness to be put on display in yours and my life for the world to see. So…
Let’s go with Him today.
Let’s pray some bigger prayers this week.
Let’s let our faith be forward leaning with earnest expectation.
Let’s let our eyes be glimpsing His goodness and expecting to see change today, breakthrough today.
That prayer that you prayed, give Him thanks and expect that you’re seeing transformation and change and things coming through from His realm to your realm today that reveal His goodness in that prayer.
If you’ve complained, just repent…
The Bible says this in 1st Peter 2:21, “You were called because of Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example that you should follow His steps. Who committed no sin, nor was deceit in His mouth.” In other words, He didn’t speak doubt. He didn’t throw up at the mouth with complaining and griping. If you did… I’m sure you did. I’ve done it. Then we just repent and submit that to God and just invite the Holy Spirit to arrest us when we think thoughts or speak words that are contrary to what He intends.
Word for someone…
For somebody, I just sense it right now. It might be just as simple for you to receive your breakthrough, for you to experience a level up this week in some way in your life. It might just be you choosing to invite the Holy Spirit to help you to think more accurately and to speak more in line with what He intends. You can stop up and block up the flow of what God intends for your life by your words. Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
Your words can lead you to victory…
I think it was Charles Capps many years ago said that thinking faith thoughts and speaking faith words can lead the heart out of defeat and into victory.
You’ve got to be your own best cheerleader.
You have to be your own best preacher.
Talk back to the enemy…
Don’t just sit and take it. Talk back to that mountain. Talk back to the enemy. If your soul takes control and it’s swirling out of control, then open your mouth and say, “No, no, we’re not going this way today. For this is the day the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad. I declare over my family situation, it’s not going south. It’s not going into the gutter. It’s going up into what God intends for my family, my children, my grandchildren.” Concerning finances, let the poor say, “I’m rich, I have a full supply.”
