Hello, everyone. Happy Monday. Good to see you all. My name is Ken; if you don’t know, I’m one of the staff here at Living Word and one of the pastors.
There’s so much going on in the world…
We pray you encounter God’s presence today and feel a connection and a sense of oneness with us as we pray. There is much to pray about, right? With what’s going on in the world with the attack in Australia. We stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters there and the believers there that are praying for and doing what they can do to help those that have been affected and devastated really by the attack there in Australia, as well as what Brown University right here in the United States.
So the world is clearly crazy and chaotic place. But we shouldn’t be surprised. Jesus armed us and forewarned us that trouble would be ahead and that we would face challenges and adversity. But in the midst of that, we could find comfort and hope in His presence and in the faithfulness of His Word.
We trust in His promises…
Aren’t you glad that we get to lean into His Word today and not go by the word of the enemy or the story of our past. But today we can trust in His promises and trust in what He said ought to be so for us and our future. And prayer fundamentally is just that. It’s, firstly, believing in His Word. Our job is to believe. Our job is to expect that He is watching over His Word to perform it. And His job is to fulfill it, to send power and to follow through on what He has promised.
Turn your attention away from distractions…
And so, today I just encourage you to turn your attention away from those distractions, from those symptoms, from what hasn’t worked out yet, and look to the one who is always there and who will never leave us nor forsake us. The one who is with us right now, this morning. Right where you’re at streaming this online. Right in the midst of what you’re facing or what you’re dealing with. And He is working where you can’t see to enable you to come out of that situation in victory.
We are going to be supernaturally transformed…
For He’s always the one who gives us triumph, who always causes us to triumph. And I believe this week you’re going to experience triumph. Because if there’s one word that I’ve been hearing repeatedly… a prophetic word that is … and that is a word that speaks about a new era that we’ve entered into, that the struggles that we’ve been going through, I declare over us and over the church and what’s been declared prophetically is those struggles are going to be supernaturally transformed.
We’re experiencing a turnaround…
And in this moment, whether we see it or not, we’re experiencing a turnaround. And God’s going to have His way, as I often say. He’s going to have His way. In the book of Acts, it says that Jesus is being restrained from coming back. He wants to come back… really bad! But that’s at the Father’s discretion. And it says that heaven, in fact, is restraining Him from coming back until there is a restoration of all things, until there’s a fulfillment of what needs to be accomplished yet in this time and age.
And we’re going to see it.
You’re going to see it.
There’s hope today.
There is life today.
There are answers for you and for me today.
And the prayers that we pray here in just a little bit are going to produce the outcome that God intends. He has chosen to collaborate with us and to utilize us at our free will, as a vessel, as a conduit through which He can pour forth His power, pour forth His answers, pour forth His purposes.

Lord, give us a fresh outlook on life on this Monday in December of 2025…
A fresh outlook on our circumstances
A fresh outlook on our world
A fresh outlook on the time that remains out ahead of us in the days and months and maybe years ahead.
We declare that darkness cannot stand nor stay.
For we declare over this nation today, “Let your light shine. Let the Gospel be preached and accelerated.”
Prayer for Australia…
We declare today over Australia. May the enemy’s best attempt to steal, kill and destroy, backfire in his face in every way.
For we declare he’s a forever loser. He’s under our feet. He has been brought to nothingness through the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ.
So we declare over Australia today, Lord, hope and peace.
We pray may your comfort and grace be ministered to those who have been through a devastation and even loss.
For a nation that is mourning and struggling and even grappling with what has just occurred.
We pray, Lord, may all of that the enemy meant to attack and to steal, may it completely be reversed in every way.
In fact, Lord, may it be the beginning of an awakening in and throughout the land of Australia.
We pray for open doors in Australia.
We declare, Lord, may the door swing wide now for the gospel, for the presence and power and glory of God to penetrate that nation.
To penetrate that people through and through.
For we pray, Lord, for a harvest for in Australia today.
We stand united in the agreement of your Word, that none should perish.
So we pray, Lord, cast a wide net across the land of Australia
Lord, we pray and we agree, may the Gospel flourish and may a harvest be reaped and may your Word be preached and may stadiums and venues become filled with people hungry to know the one and only and true God.
For we pray today, Lord, may mercy fall on Australia.
And all the inroads the enemy has made be turned back, in Jesus’ name.
Supplies. New supplies. Oh, it’s opening. We declare openings in Australia for the gospel and the glory of God.
We declare openings now in Europe for the Gospel and the glory to flourish and accelerate.
We declare openings now over America.
Prayer for Minnesota…
Even this great state of Minnesota.
Devil, you will not have Minnesota.
For we declare over Minnesota, “You will come to faith in Jesus. There is now a great awakening and outpouring in Minnesota, in America. Yes, Lord, even around the world.”
We stand and agree with you and your plan for this hour and this new era and season on your timetable of events.
Releasing it today.
Yes, today there will come a shift… today a shifting now…
A shifting in events
A shifting in the atmosphere.
A shifting now into a higher gear in the plan of God.
Open up the heavens and come down.
Have your way, Lord. We’re unwilling to just sit idly by and put up with another attack of the enemy.
Turn the course of events. Shift things in the direction of what you have in mind, Father.
Of what you have architected for the nations, for Israel today, for America.
We pray for a wholesale alignment. Out ahead of your return, Lord.
Yes, Lord, restore.
Yes, Lord, bring together now.
Yes, now culminate some things.
Combine some things.
Bring together some things including the body of Christ.
Here at Living Word, we speak unity over our congregation, the local church in Brooklyn Park.
We speak unity and grace today over the body of Christ, throughout the states.
Lord, we speak unity and grace today over the body of Christ, throughout the nations today.
India, Australia, Europe, Central America, South America or Latin America at large.
Teach us, Father, to take up your plans.
Teach us to embrace the fullness of the operation of the Spirit in us.
For we pray, Lord, may there come a great restoration in this new era.
A great restoration of the gifts and the callings and the operations of God the Holy Spirit.
May there come a great restoration of purpose and calling and mission at the heart of the church.
Encouragement to speak…
Let me hear you speak forth from your spirit this morning.
Let me hear you offer up a supply in your heavenly prayer language, a supply of the spirit.
Announce the will of the Lord through your prayer language today.
Decree the way it ought to be here on out for you and for the church and for the plan of God.
Prayer about a shift coming…
Openings. Openings.
We hold it before you today, Lord. The shift must come today.
The change now… Now it must be granted.
Now it must appear and become reality.
Grant those elements, Lord. Grant the ingredients necessary now.
Insert, insert that gift, Father, insert that which is necessary and even vital to the plan of God.
May it be inserted into the affairs of your church now.
May it appear now and show up in the lives of your people now.
Prayer for America…
We say, America, the good work God has begun in you long ago, He is continuing it and He will bring it to a full and flourishing finish according to His plan for these United States of America. That we might be a blessing, not just to ourselves, but to the uttermost parts of the earth, to preach the Gospel, to send missionaries, to plant churches, to preach the Gospel until the end comes in Jesus’ name.
Pastor Ken shared…
Jesus taught us to watch and pray. Sometimes you’re watching. Sometimes you’re praying. Just be observant and be discerning of the activity of the Holy Spirit within you today. Be observant and respond to the words and the pictures that you’re seeing on the internal screen of your heart. Lift those things up. Speak those names. Declare those utterances in the spirit and in your understanding. This is how God utilizes us, firstly, as a conduit for His purposes. We work with Him. We respond to Him in prayer and in the secret place.
Word came forth…
I feel like the Lord wants to remind us that the way things have been and the present circumstances and situation that you’re in, will not always be. It will not always remain. This too will change.
So don’t get comfortable and don’t get rutted or rooted in the dysfunction, in the deficiency, in the lack, in the pain. For this, too, the Lord would remind us, will change and is in the process of changing.
Let your hopes be permitted to arise. Let your heart connect to fresh courage and a new outlook that is clear that God is for you and not against you. Madly in love with you and not mad at you.
Somebody needs to hear that this morning.
Let your perspective be informed by the reality of His Word. That your sins are forgiven. They’re fully taken out of the way and doused into the sea of forgetfulness where they can never be found again.
So choose to see the promise and the light and the hope that’s in His Word. Let your heart take courage today. Don’t stay in a low place. Refuse to be harassed by those negative feelings and those thoughts of doubt. And that picture that, “Well, I guess this is my lot in life. I’ll just have to put up with what I’m dealt with until Jesus returns.” Emphatically no! No. A thousand times “no.”
For faith allows you to connect to the new that Christ has accomplished for you. Faith allows you to paint a fresh picture on your heart as you meditate on His promises. Faith allows you to choose the path of light, the path of hope, the path of the goodness of God that has been prepared and provided for you in every way.
