Morning Prayer Summary for Monday, September 30, 2019

Thank You for the blood, Lord
We are so thankful for what the blood did on our behalf
The blood of Jesus lives and speaks today, and there is peace in that blood!
Casting down every kind of worry and care!
We pray and believe that everything will work out to our good, Father
Thank You for the power of the precious blood of Jesus
Holy Spirit, You are our comforter and we receive a covering of that blood!
That blood is working in and through us, Lord
We do not take any cares, we let them go in the name of Jesus
Cares, you must go and be gone, we are free by the blood of Jesus
Yes, we are carefree in You, Lord
We cast all of our cares on You, and we lay our burdens down at Your feet
Victory is ours, hallelujah!

The following excerpt is taken from A Sure Foundation by Andrew Wommack:

Everything in your Christian life is built on the way you view God’s Word. It shapes your relationship with God. It influences your faith. It determines what you will or won’t receive from heaven. If Satan can attack God’s Word and get you to doubt it, the foundations of your faith will crack. But when you build your life on the unshakable truth of God’s Word, all things are possible. (Mark 9:23).

Feed Your Faith

Some people want to base things on visions and dreams. If a vision or dream confirms what God has already said to me through His Word, I’ll accept it. But if a vision, dream, or even an angel comes to me and says anything contrary to God’s Word, I’m not accepting it (Gal. 1:8-9). I’ve been through this type of thing more than once.

So many people are looking for these other things. They come up to me and ask, “Brother, do you have a word for me?” Yet their Bible is right there, tucked under their arm. I want to say, “There are thousands of words from God to you right there. That’s the Lord speaking to you!” But most people don’t take the Bible as being the infallible Word of God. They just think it vaguely represents Him, and they use it sparingly, pulling out a verse as they walk out the door. Most people haven’t based their lives on the Word. They haven’t committed themselves to it.

Most of us would have opted for what Jesus said about John the Baptist in Luke 7:28: “Boy, you’re the most important person who has ever lived on the face of the earth.” We would rather have had that than have Christ fulfilled a scripture and say, “Believe or don’t believe.” However, Jesus respected John so much that He referred him back to the Word (Luke 7:22-23).

Are you struggling with doubt in any area of your life today? You don’t need some type of emotional experience. You don’t need a prophecy, a vision, or a dream. What you need is to get back into the Word of God.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Rom 10:17)

Faith will drive doubt and unbelief out of our lives. We’ve made the Christian life too hard. We think it’s so difficult to serve God. Well, it’s only hard if we aren’t meditating in the Word. The Bible says that if we meditate in the Word day and night, then we will have good success and we will make our way prosperous.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Joshua 1:8)

Notice that it doesn’t say you might make your way prosperous; it says you will. Putting God’s Word first place in your life will automatically produce everything you need. It will just come effortlessly.

Have you ever seen a tree groan, moan, shake, and then – boom- there’s an apple? That’s not the way fruit comes. It’s just the nature of that tree to produce apples, but it takes time. And it takes being an apple tree all of the time. It takes consistency. You have to stay planted. You have to stay rooted. You can’t ever move. If you stay right there in the Word, you’ll just automatically produce fruit.

This is what we must learn in the Christian life. God wants His Word to be the foundation of everything we do. The reason most people aren’t having more success is because they haven’t put priority on the Word of God the way that they should. That’s simple, but it’s true.

Earlier we looked at how Jesus marveled at the centurion’s faith (Matt. 8:10). Jesus called it “great.” The centurion said. “Speak the Word only.” He understood the power and authority of the Word of God (Matt. 8:5-13).

Thomas, known as the doubter, said that he wouldn’t believe until he had seen and touched (John 20:19-29). Jesus told him, “Thomas, there’s a greater blessing on those who believe without seeing, without physical evidence.” God’s Word is the evidence.

Do you want the greater blessing? Would you like to walk in great faith? Then believe the report of the Lord. It’s recorded for you  in God’s Word.

Go ahead, feed your faith and starve your doubts!

A Word of the Lord came forth…

Yes, you have entered on into the new; Yes you will know exactly what other things you are to do. Because you made a decision to advance and step in, out from, and into what I have called for you to do. You’ve entered into a new time, a new hour, and a new year. My purpose and My will and My plan is to work on your behalf when you say yes to me, it will work through thee, and it will do what you have been called to do. And you will do it with joy, and that joy inside you, will bring about My strength through you, and you will do things, that you never thought or knew that you would do, because they are new.

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
