Prayer Summary for Friday, September 18, 2015

Pastor Ray shared…

Last evening, we had David Walker here for a prayer meeting for Israel. I had him share some things. His responsibility is for all of the CUFI Campus people that are working for Israel’s behalf at the campuses. He didn’t go into any detail except for one example. You can imagine how it is on campus representing CUFI. In these days… Whoa! He said recently there was a new group started called CUFP—Christians United For Palestinians. They said to him, “We’re going to take you down.” I couldn’t believe my ears. It’s one thing to say I want to represent this group, but to say you’re going to take down Christians United For Israel… That’s your plan? Whoa! [Someone asked, “Are you sure they were Christians?”] Yes, they are Christians.

David was talking about the millennials and how the support for Israel is low. But we believe it’s coming up. He shared a few other things about what he does and his responsibilities and how there are times when it can be depressing. We prayed for Israel for quite a while and for CUFI. Then that one thing, it just stuck in me—CUFP. Without even thinking about it, I just took authority over that and called it down. While I was doing that, I’m thinking, “Wait a second, these are Christians… supposedly.” I had a little question as to whether I should be doing that. Should I take authority over them and call that out? YES!

I have Brother Hagin’s book called, The Believer’s Authority. Billye Brim said that when she used to work for brother Hagin, that was one of the books that Jim Kaseman translated and took into Russia. It’s always been the top-selling book. Sometimes I look at the end of the book to see what is the last thing they say. The last thing that is in that book is Matthew 18:18. He used the King James version but he had another translation that he quoted, but he didn’t identify what translation it was. It says, “Whatsoever things ye refuse to be permitted on earth will be refused to be permitted in heaven.” I like that. That’s a good translation.

I don’t have a “Mac and Lynne” Bible—but it would be Amplified on one side and King James on the other. Pastor Mac has always used King James and Pastor Lynne always uses the Amplified. Way back when Sandy and I first started coming to Living Word, we both got Amplified Bibles. It was the first Bible we got. When I read this in the Amplified, it reads kind of the opposite. It says, “Whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be what is already permitted in heaven.” It’s kind of the reverse. Obviously, we can’t declare things that are unlawful in heaven and declare them lawful here and have it come to pass. Then it goes on to say whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth it must be what is already permitted in heaven.

I thought, I’m just going to go down a list of different translations. I read many of them, but I couldn’t find one that said it the way the Amplified said it. I like the way the Message puts it. “Take this most seriously: A yes on earth is yes in heaven; a no on earth is no in heaven. What you say to one another is eternal. I mean this. When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there.” (Matt. 18:18–20) Isn’t that good?

I’d rather have it so that I know enough to know what I would be declaring on this earth to be unlawful, because it’s unlawful in heaven. I believe it’s unlawful in heaven to set up an anti-Israel group! Even if you call yourself a Christian, you can’t do it! So our declaration was “NO! You can’t do that. It’s not going to work. You will be shut down because Israel will be lifted up.” I’m not making this to be a prayer meeting for Israel this morning. I just wanted to use that as an example. We need to use the authority He’s given us and believe that’s the way it shall be here on this earth. When? Now! Now is the right time.

Pastor Ray prayed…

Holy Spirit, we welcome Your presence this morning. With every desire of our hearts, we want to do what You want us to do. We want to pray what You want us to pray. We’re not moved by what we see in the natural. But on the other hand, we do want to be moved by what we see so we’ll say what You want us to say and put a stop to some things that we see that are not lining up with You in heaven. Thank You, Lord.

Lord, we repent for not spending the time in Your presence that is so necessary.

Pastor Tim, right at the beginning when you began to sing about the presence, I felt the need to repent. Not just for me, but for us, for the body of Christ. This is how I heard it: “I’m looking,” saith the Lord, “to bring about a greater influence through each and every one of My children. I’m calling on you to spend more time in My presence. You’ll have a new shout! It won’t be like shouting in the natural. It’ll be like speaking it in the spirit. But it’ll come out in another tongue, and it won’t be a tongue that you’ll recognize because you haven’t been to this place before. So I’m calling you today to step through, just like you’d step through a natural door and spend time in the secret place. It’s a ‘secret’ place with Me in My presence. It will bring about that increase.”

I see it moving out from each and every member of the body like a bright light… it’s not just white. It’s really bright like an illumination. So we come by the blood and we pray over our own nation and the nations of the earth. But for us to bring about this greater influence, we must spend the time necessary in the secret place of the presence of the precious Holy Spirit.

Let’s keep going Pastor Tim.

I kept picking this up from the beginning when Ray shared. The way it is in heaven is that there is unity in heaven. When we get into the presence of God, there is unity in that place. When he spoke about that other group, I thought “That’s division!” There is no division in heaven. As we were worshiping the Lord, it kept coming up in me that we would declare that the body would be of one heart and one mind, that the Holy Spirit would move throughout the body of Christ and that they would see that we are one in Him. And as the Holy Spirit ministers to His people that we come together in that unity and we are able to do the things and plans that God has set forth for us. So I declare that right now in Jesus’ name. Father God, that Your body is of one heart and one mind, that there is no division, no schism in any type of denomination and any type of group. Lord, that we would come together because You said when we come together in one heart and one mind there is nothing that we couldn’t accomplish. We stand in agreement today and we expect to see that in Your body, in Jesus’ name.

I kept hearing this during the service, that He is the lover of our souls. All these challenges and difficulties you have faced for, sometimes, years, these things aren’t things you can fix. There is nothing you can do to fix those problems. That’s why we have Him. He is the lover of our souls. He cares about the things that affect us, and He has an answer for every one of those problems. He just wants us to yield to Him and lay the cares at the door and acknowledge Him for who He is, as we have today. As we acknowledge Him the way we have today, those things are taken care of because He cares about those things. It’s His care. It doesn’t get too difficult for Him. He takes pleasure in dealing with these things. It thrills Him to solve your problems. It thrills Him to bring joy to your soul. It thrills Him to put a smile on your face, so that when you walk out into the world, the world can see Him. It thrills Him that He can carry the load. It thrills Him that He can be your Savior. That’s what grace is all about. It’s just letting go, forgetting those things which are behind you and looking unto Him the author and finisher of our faith, the beginning and the end. Both the will and the ability to do of His good pleasure. He gives us that. So no more trying to fix the problem. No more spending countless hours of praying. No more spending all this effort to try to solve your problems. No more!

“Just look to Me, the author and finisher of your faith. Relax and know that I am God and I will heal your land. I will heal your body. I will take care of all those circumstances and challenges that you have faced. They’ll come to naught. And you’ll look around you and you’ll feel as if you were in a dream. These things, they cease to be. And you’ll know that it was Me. And then your joy won’t be something that you put on. It’ll be something that is real. Something that is within you that you can share with others, and it is that salvation that is the real salvation.”

There’s a place in Arizona called Carefree. I was thinking I’d like to go out and change my street sign. Turn on Carefree Avenue. That’s the way it is in heaven. We’re declaring today, it’s that way here on this earth. Carefree. So have a carefree Friday, carefree Saturday, carefree, carefree, carefree… in Jesus’ name. Thank you for coming today.
