Jerre led in worship…

Pastor Ray shared…

I found something I wanted to read from Andrew Wommack’s book, How to Find, Follow, Fulfill God’s Will.

“Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb. 2 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. 3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. 4 And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.” (Exo. 3:1–3)

Moses blew it when he killed the Egyptian but he recovered and eventually went on to accomplish God’s will. He spent 40 years in the wilderness praying and asking God for another chance. He knew God had a plan for his life. He never stopped seeking after God and trying to fulfill His purpose. Moses was actively looking for God, so when he saw a bush that was burning but wasn’t being consumed by the flames, he turned aside to investigate.

It was only after Moses turned aside to check things out that the voice of God came to him. Moses could have walked right by the burning bush. He could have been focused on how far he had to travel with the flock. He could have been anxious to get them water by a certain time. I’m sure he was busy, but he was still looking for God. Then when he saw something abnormal, he stopped to investigate.

This same thing happened to the disciples when they were in the boat, struggling to survive a storm in the middle of the Sea of Galilee. Jesus came walking to them on the water. The scripture says He would have passed them by (Mark 6:48). Jesus was there to save His disciples. He wasn’t out on the lake for a stroll and it just so happened that He walked close to their boat. No, Jesus was there to help them. But this is how God operates: He delights in faith. We have to be looking for Him.

God makes His presence known but He isn’t going to force anyone to pay attention. God doesn’t come into our lives and make us follow Him. To Moses’ credit, he persevered in looking for God. He believed that God was still going to use him (Heb. 11:27). If Moses had not turned aside to inspect the burning bush, it’s very possible God wouldn’t have spoken to him.

It’s our hard-heartedness that makes us so insensitive to God. He isn’t hard to find, it’s just that most of us are looking in the wrong places. We are occupied with the wrong things. The Bible says when we seek, we find. We can’t say, “God, if You can reach me in the next five minutes before my favorite TV program comes on, I’ll serve you for the rest of my life.” God doesn’t work on our timetable. We have to seek Him with all of our heart (Jer. 29:13), expecting to see Him intervene. [end quote]

I keep hearing in my spirit “Take the provision that’s been provided.” I hear it over and over. But we’re not to take the provision just personally for ourselves, but we are to take it for others that are in need as well. Not just financial, but the fullness of the Spirit in our lives… to be overflowing continually… giving and giving and giving to meet the needs of those around us. Meeting the needs wherever they are.

Thank You, Father, for the provision and the victory at the cross.

I wanted to share a testimony from the past weekend Christmas show services. Here at morning and noon prayer times, we’ve been consistently lifting up financial increase for the church. We’ve been praying that we have overflow and abundance, over and above our needs. One of the ladies last Wednesday at noon prayer began to pray out concerning the offerings. She actually works in accounting. On Monday morning after the Christmas Show, the accounting department counted the offering from the weekend. There are six or seven people that open the envelopes and count it. She had the privilege and blessing to open up an envelope that had the largest check that’s ever been written in an offering in the entire history of Living Word! The glory of God through the manifestation of increase had taken place. It was an extremely awesome gift!

We confess every need has been met. By faith, we believe to never get in the way with our un-expectation or casualness about looking to Him. Like Moses for 40 years looked for God and then he saw a bush burning that didn’t burn up. And God spoke. For us today right now, every one of us could say, “Yes, Lord.” Together, by faith we use that to increase our expectation that there will be supernatural Holy Ghost gifts coming to us personally because it’s the same God, the same plan for abundance. Someone said, “The world has a budget, but the church has abundance!” Yes, we have abundance because we serve an abundant God!

We hold the calendar before heaven this morning and we declare all the way through to the new year, this final month of the year will be up and over and in great abundance, in Jesus’ name. Every service, even when it’s not a service, finances and increase will come over the Internet or it will come by being dropped off personally or come in some other form. Like transfers into the ministry. Ministering spirits, we loose you to go forth and bring it in from every direction—the north, the east, the south, and the west. And then into 2017, as each one of us step into that year, the provision with our expectation, we believe it’ll get greater and greater. We serve an awesome Father. Thank You that the way has already been prepared. We take hold of the provision by faith and we hold fast to our confession which must line up on the positive side.

Our trust is in You… We’ve even put it on the currency… In God we trust… this nation established for Your purpose… it’s in concrete… You have not changed Your mind… it will not be set in another direction but it will come into the fulfillment of a determined purpose… rise up, rise up!… O great nation! Rise up… a great people… for you’ve been called for such a time as this… to establish My kingdom in the earth… Going here and going there… carrying My Word and carrying my power into the nations… it’s time to launch out… Thank You, Father, You have set things up just the way they should be… So that work is accomplished… tis so sweet to trust in Jesus… just to take Him at His word… what He said is the truth and it will not change… who He said you are, you are… the gifts He put in your will remain… the callings are not removed… O, but the anointing… it increases now… the fire of God… upon the body… to come up, to come up in Jesus’ name… it’s time to take this land… it’s time to take this earth… Because time is coming to an end… it’s coming to a close… and we will finish strong… in Jesus’ name…

Thank You, Father, that the divine purpose of this nation will again be revealed and put into the light… You reveal it and You put it in the sons of men… You reveal it in our congressmen and our senators and our teachers in our schools… You reveal our divine purpose again… to everyone in authority… the divine purpose of the United States of America… that which has been hidden but now it shall be revealed again… it shall be shouted from the housetops… the divine purpose of the USA… to the glory of God and for the souls of men… the divine purpose arises bright and strong in the hearts of the men of the United States of America… On every tongue… it shall be on every tongue… she will no longer trust in the money… no, that rotten foundation shall be taken out… but she shall be known to trust in God… for then shall the provision come… divine purpose shining bright again! Glory to God!
