Morning Prayer Summary for Monday, April 29, 2019

The change that we want and need is not just natural, but supernatural!
In the natural, we can change some things, but we need to be changed supernaturally
We need to be drawn up out of some things, and we need to be drawn up into Him
Yes, in Him there is freedom, there is victory, and there is help!
He is our helper, He is our strength and He is our everything
When we yield to Him, we are yielding to everything He said would be true!
We call all of this to come forth in the name of Jesus
Fill us up to overflowing, Father
Yes, it is a process, and it is a process everyday
There are steps that we need to take, and You  are leading and guiding us, Lord
We will always be changing from one degree of glory to another, to another and to another
Thank You for it, Father

Scripture Focus…

(1–3) So come on, let’s leave the preschool fingerpainting exercises on Christ and get on with the grand work of art. Grow up in Christ. The basic foundational truths are in place: turning your back on “salvation by self-help” and turning in trust toward God; baptismal instructions; laying on of hands; resurrection of the dead; eternal judgment. God helping us, we’ll stay true to all that. But there’s so much more. Let’s get on with it! (4–8) Once people have seen the light, gotten a taste of heaven and been part of the work of the Holy Spirit, once they’ve personally experienced the sheer goodness of God’s Word and the powers breaking in on us—if then they turn their backs on it, washing their hands of the whole thing, well, they can’t start over as if nothing happened. That’s impossible. Why, they’ve re-crucified Jesus! They’ve repudiated him in public! Parched ground that soaks up the rain and then produces an abundance of carrots and corn for its gardener gets God’s “Well done!” But if it produces weeds and thistles, it’s more likely to get cussed out. Fields like that are burned, not harvested. (9–12) I’m sure that won’t happen to you, friends. I have better things in mind for you—salvation things! God doesn’t miss anything. He knows perfectly well all the love you’ve shown him by helping needy Christians, and that you keep at it. And now I want each of you to extend that same intensity toward a full-bodied hope, and keep at it till the finish. Don’t drag your feet. Be like those who stay the course with committed faith and then get everything promised to them.  (13–18) When God made his promise to Abraham, he backed it to the hilt, putting his own reputation on the line. He said, “I promise that I’ll bless you with everything I have—bless and bless and bless!” Abraham stuck it out and got everything that had been promised to him. When people make promises, they guarantee them by appeal to some authority above them so that if there is any question that they’ll make good on the promise, the authority will back them up. When God wanted to guarantee his promises, he gave his word, a rock-solid guarantee—God can’t break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable.
(Hebrews 6: 1–18 MSG)

First of all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men, (2) For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.(3) For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior, (4) Who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth.
(1 Timothy 2: 1–4 AMPC)

Father, we thank You for Your Word
Your words are full of health, and full of abundance and not lack!
Your words are opening doors that we are to walk through in these days
Your words are full of breaking-through promises, Your Word is light and life!
Words change, and words rearrange!
We will continually move on and move ahead into new territories and new rooms, Lord
Yes, we are coming up into those things, and it is good, wonderful, and beautiful
You are so good, and Your mercies are new today!
In the name of Jesus, we come by the blood and we cover pastors all across this nation
We cover every plan You have for them, Lord
No weapon formed against them shall or will prosper in the name of Jesus
You have anointed pastors to fulfill their call and destiny that You have for them
We pray over the influence of Your Word, and we call it to go forth in Jesus’ name
Declaring that every lie would be exposed, and we cast down every evil plot of the enemy!
Calling forth Your plan for the church to come to pass in these days, Lord
Praying over our connections and our relationships, Father
Yes, we call forth momentum in the churches!
Things are looking and building up, and influence is expanding up!
No man can stop it; no words from the enemy can derail it!
We watch over our words, and over our prayers, we will continually contend all the way
Yes, just one touch changes everything!
Thank You for the presence of God, we ask for Your fire, Father
We smooth those things out, high places be made low, low places be brought up
Covering every believer with the precious blood of the Lamb!
Calling for increase in the body of Christ today, Lord
Increase in finances, increase in spirit, soul, and body
We watch over the plan and purpose that You have for us
Calling forth that vision to come to pass in Jesus’ name!
Yes, we call for restoration in every area!
No, we will not stay status quo but we will continually press upward and moving ahead
We call those things that be not as though they were!
Things that were broken, be restored, bodies that need to be healed, be healed!
Bank accounts that need to come up, come up in Jesus’ name!
Thank You, Father, for the light that shines for the path of reversal
We pray for the ways of escape in every area, Lord
Yes, we thank You that this is a nation that rises up to a new level of seeing
Surround President Trump with Your words, Father
You have prepared a table for us in the presence of our enemies
Thank You, Lord, that we have Your Word and can preach it in this nation
We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation, Lord
Calling for those chains to be broken off in Jesus’ name!
Chains are being broken, and broken, and broken!
We are going together and in one accord!

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
