Prayer Summary December 3

Scripture Reference…

(22) “But Jesus said to him, Follow Me, and leave the dead [in sin] to bury their own dead. (23) And after He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him. (24) And suddenly, behold, there arose a violent storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered up by the waves; but He was sleeping. (25) And they went and awakened Him, saying, Lord, rescue and preserve us! We are perishing! (26) And He said to them, Why are you timid and afraid, O you of little faith? Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great and wonderful calm (a perfect peaceableness).” Matthew 8:22–26 (Amp.)

Pastor Ray Shared concerning Matthew 8:22–27

Jesus had not rebuked their weak faith simply to point out there weakness but rather so they would always be able to look back at that time on the boat. Because they watched Him stand up and speak peace to the storm. Our prayers should be less and less out of fear and more and more in confidence in His name. He used that instance to increase their faith in Him. It was a natural storm but that would apply to anything that would come against God’s Word to us today. We are in the boat of the Holy Ghost to go somewhere and declare some things, but we must do it in faith and confidence in His Word.

Prayed…

Father, thank You that we are Your hands, feet, and mouth on this earth
What we say backed up by Your Word SHALL COME TO PASS
We do declare that things are getting better and not worse
Seated in heavenly places and believing as we speak out Your Word!
To all of the turmoil in the world we say “Peace, be still”

Pastor Ray had everyone stand and point to the north, south, east and west and declare “Peace, be still!”

Operating in Your authority we speak life, wholeness, and perseverance to those around us
Letting some things go; standing strong in You
You, Father, are our provider and way-maker
Sometimes shaking the dust off our feet and moving on, up and contending for greater
Father, You spoke it forth, so we are saying it “PEACE BE STILL” to every storm in Jesus’ name
To all the wars and all the violence
To Ebola and every virus – stop it and peace be still the name of Jesus
Peace be still to all financial lack
