Morning Prayer Summary for Thursday, September 29, 2022

Sister Jeannie…

Good morning.

Father, I thank you for your plan. Speak through us today as we continue to declare and enforce victory.

And, you know, there is much evidence that we’re winning. You know you can’t win without a contest. And when there’s a contest, there are winners and losers. And in the middle, there’s a storm. And we’re winning. So before we pray, we’re going to kind of set up a few things here.

Jesus and the disciples were in a great storm…

In Mark 4:35, “On that same day when evening had come, He said to them [Jesus], let us go over to the other side and leaving the throng, they took him with them just as he was in the boat. And the other boats were with him. And a furious storm of wind arose.” The Amplified says, “of hurricane proportions.” And the waves kept beating into the boats so that it was already becoming filled. But Jesus was in the stern of the boat asleep and they awoke him and said, Master, do you not care that we are perishing? And he arose and rebuked the storm and said to the sea, “Hush now! Be still.” And the wind ceased and sank as if exhausted. And there was immediately a great calm, a perfect peacefulness. And he said to them, “Why are you so timid and fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” No firmly relying trust and they were filled with great awe and feared exceedingly, and said to one another who then is this that even the wind and sea obey him.”

On the other side of the storm, they took authority over evil forces…

Then in chapter 5:1, “They came to the other side and as soon as he got out of the boat, there met him out of the tombs, a man under the power of an unclean spirit.” So think about this. So Jesus said to them, Okay, we’re going to get in the boat and we’re going to go to the other side. So they’re on their way to the other side, but in the middle of it was a storm. And because of the storm, they forgot His Word. However, they called on Jesus and they ended up getting to the other side. But then on the other side, they ended up dealing with the demonic. Isn’t that amazing? They ended up taking authority over evil forces that were influencing a man. And out of that came massive awakening to the town. That is where we’re at right now! This is good news.

We expect victory without a contest…

So I looked up the definition of contest. You know, I laugh at myself more than anyone else, but I am laughing at all of us that we expect a victory without a contest. You know, the whole reason why there’s a winner is because there’s a battle. So there’s going to be a battle. And when there’s a battle, we decide if we’re going to enforce victory or not. You know, it’s not we decide if we’re winning. We decide. Are you going to enforce victory? Are you going to do that? And today like we have been and the church has been deciding, she’s waking up. I call her awake today. She is enforcing the victory of the Gospel. She’s enforcing that victory.

The definition of “contest…”

Okay here’s the definition of a contest. There’s a few here. 1) An event in which people compete for supremacy, 2) engage in competition to attain a position of power.

There is a co-laboring with Jesus…

We are enforcing victory today. Okay, so let’s kind of look at this again. So Jesus says to them, “Let’s go to the other side.” Here we are in the middle. And everything probably looked pretty good, okay? In the middle of that, the storm comes. They doubt and forget what Jesus said. “Let’s go to the other side.” You’ll notice, too, Jesus didn’t say, “I’m going to the other side.” He said, “Let’s go to the other side.” There was that co-laboring that was taking place. He was saying, “Okay, we’re going to the other side. Let’s go.” He’s with you in the whole thing. The whole thing. So even in the middle of this contest coming up, this contest rising up, we have a mandate. We have a responsibility to enforce victory. In times when you’re tired, don’t you want to know, knowing that we’re already winning, that you were a part of that victory? There are times when I want to give up and Holy Spirit will say, “Jeanie, imagine the victory and imagine that you participated the whole time.”

Prayed…

Father, I thank you that our hearts are prepared today for a direct clash. The direct clash, the direct full-on impact to darkness. Freedom. Freedom. Victory. Moving forward. Identity. The Spirit of God cries out “identity.” Identity to the church. Identity, sonship.

Smith Wigglesworth thoughts…

How do we speak to those storms? Identity. This is from Smith Wigglesworth. Thought for Today: We are saved, called with a holy calling, called to be saints… holy, pure, godlike, sons with power. This also comes from Smith Wigglesworth: Beloved, now we are the sons of God. God has such purposes to perform in us. He has a great desire to utter these words in our hearts so that we may rise and claim His purposes, His desires for us to be ambitious and even covetous for His purposes to be fulfilled in our lives. He wants a desire to be in us that nothing can satisfy without. We not only tow the line but live in the line and claim the whole thing is ours. God must have it to be so.

Prayed…

Father, increase in us the ambition of your purpose in our lives, that we covet your purpose in our lives today. Your purpose in this very moment in time, in this very moment in Minneapolis, in this very moment in Minnesota. Truth, truth, truth, Who is a person? The purposes of Jesus in Minneapolis and in Minnesota today. The truth, setting people free, freedom in the land, Damascus moments, St. Paul moments. When Saul encountered your great power and he became St. Paul. We put a demand on St. Paul in Minnesota today. Damascus moments. Sonship.

What is our identity?

Okay, I’m going to read something here. Why is family an enemy? Why is the family so frightening? There is a single answer to all these questions because it defines us, because it is our identity, because everything that defines us is now an enemy for those who would like us to no longer have an identity and to simply be perfect consumer slaves.

We continue to enforce victory and identity today in the church. Sonship, the sons and daughters of God continuing to stand and rise up, unity and the church. If we agree on anything, we agree that the truth is a person, and the truth is Jesus. And He has a plan for Minneapolis and He has a plan for Minnesota. He has a plan and it will go forth, and we choose to participate today. And so they attack national identity. They attack religious identity. They attack gender identity. They attack family identity.

When I was on the debate team in high school and college… I was on the debate team and actually did really well. They would always say, when you have an argument, you want a direct clash to that argument. You don’t want to run around the argument. And, for a long time the church has been running around arguments. Not anymore.

The reason why the church inspires so much fear…

Why is the family an enemy? Why is the family so frightening? There is a single answer to all these questions because it defines us, because it is our identity, because everything that defines us is now an enemy for those who would like us to no longer have an identity and to simply be perfect consumer slaves. So they attack identity. They attack religious identity. They attack gender identity. They attack family identity. We are no longer with full freedom allowed… and by the way, that’s not true because we do it anyway… to define ourselves by our nationality, our faith, our gender. We must be Citizen X, parent one, parent two. We must be a number because when I am only a number, when I no longer have an identity or roots, then I will be the perfect slave to the mercy of financial speculators, the perfect consumer. That’s the reason why we inspire so much fear, the church. That’s why this even inspires so much fear because we do not want to be numbers. We defend the value of the human being. Every single human being because each of us has a unique genetic code that is unrepeatable. And like it or not, that is sacred. We will defend it. We will defend God, country, and family. Those things that disgust people so much.

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God…

I will tell you though, have you ever been like this? I know I have. When you’re hurting, when you’re in pain, when you’re dealing with something, it’s difficult to recognize and answer sometimes. So what am I talking about? Let’s bring up some word to kind of illustrate that. Romans 8:14, “For those who are led by the spirit of God are the children of God. Sons and daughter born that way. For those who are led by the spirit of God are children of God.” Children of God, dependent on God, believing what God says about them, that they were born men and women on purpose. That we were made to be loved, that they were made to enforce victory. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again. Rather the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.

The church is up to bat…

You know, in the middle of the storm, Roe v. Wade was overturned. In the middle of the storm, conversations are happening that force a decision. In the middle of the storm, the church is coming together. The church is realizing that bases are loaded and we’re up to bat.

God fills in the gaps…

This weekend we were up north helping my husband’s dad and there’s a church in Silver Bay. It’s a vineyard church. And they had Teen Challenge there. And so the guys were there and they were singing. So they’d sing testimony. And can I tell you something? They’re singing was awful. And we cried through the whole thing! And Holy Spirit said to me, “Jeanie, do you notice they participate, and I fill in the gaps.” It doesn’t matter how awful we are at this. He fills in the gaps. He’s filling in the gaps, Church. He’s filling in the gaps in Minneapolis.

We declare freedom in Minneapolis…

Those hard places where there has not been freedom, we declare freedom in Minneapolis. Freedom! Freedom in Minneapolis! Hope to rise up. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again. Rather the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. Adoption. How many couples do you know that want to adopt right now? How many?

Prayed…

Revelation in the church. Revelation of the Father’s desires. For his sons and daughters to come in… To come into the household of faith. Trained up. The fear of God being the beginning of wisdom in the church.

Father, we just lay it down right now, anything that we’ve called wisdom, that’s not the fear of God, times maybe we haven’t taken a stand and called it wisdom. We repent right now. Because the earth is crying out for us to truly, truly manifest sonship, manifest identity.

Let us wake up to the war. Let us wake up to the battle. And let us wake up to victory. Let us lean in and submit to victory.
