Prayer Summary for Wednesday, May 15, 2019

Ms. Annie…

I asked Pastor Ray “what are we going to pray about?” He said “I want to pray for Landon.” He is the little boy who was thrown from the 3rd floor of the Mall of America. So, then I told him I had this real interesting thing happen when I was reading the Bible a few days ago. You know how the Word is so new all the time. It always has something new to say to you. It just amazes me. I was reading in Acts chapter 20 when Paul was preaching.

(7) On the first day of the week, we gathered with the local believers to share in the Lord’s Supper. Paul was preaching to them, and since he was leaving the next day, he kept talking until midnight. (8) The upstairs room where we met was lighted with many flickering lamps. (9) As Paul spoke on and on, a young man named Eutychus, sitting on the windowsill, became very drowsy. Finally, he fell sound asleep and dropped three stories to his death below. (10) Paul went down, bent over him, and took him into his arms. “Don’t worry,” he said, “he’s alive!”

Woa! I grabbed onto that because you know what? I went and read it again. When he was sound asleep he fell to the ground from the “third story” and was picked up dead. I thought if I was running down the stairwell and I had just seen somebody thrown from the third floor of a building like the Mall of America, I guess I would probably expect to pick them up dead. So, he was picked up dead.

(10) Paul went down, bent over him, and took him into his arms. “Don’t worry,” he said, “he’s alive!”

Brother Copeland has taught on this. When you are in a situation, you inquire for the Word that applies to that situation. You pray in tongues and then the Holy Spirit brings forth the scripture for you to speak. For example, he was in a situation where there was something going on he didn’t know how to address. He prayed in tongues. You know you can come up with scriptures on your own. But he talks about how there is an anointed Word that was spoken to the end from the beginning, before time and until the end of time. There is an anointed Word that God already spoke to that situation. Anyway, he prayed and prayed and prayed and the scripture he got was, “Peace be still.” And then he started declaring that word to his particular challenge.

This jumped up at me in a new way! He was thrown down from the third floor. He was picked up dead but Paul said “Don’t be alarmed. He’s alive!” So, I took that as a scripture from God for Landon (ha, ha, ha). So, I said “Don’t be ALARMED! Landon is ALIVE!”

Ms. Jeani…

If you think about the character of Landon’s heavenly Father. He knew before time began that you were going to read this scripture about the third floor. I mean what’s up with the third floor? It didn’t have to say he fell from the third floor but God put it in there. He made sure it was in there for this very moment right now.

God is that close and He always obliges us when we need to hear Him and He does it in such a surprisingly happy cool way. What a cool Dad. He so knew it. The third floor!

Ms. Annie…

The other thing that encourages me about this and the Lord has been encouraging me about this a lot lately. It’s so important to just spend time in the Word. When I was a baby Christian, I was trying to get started with God but I didn’t know how and I didn’t know any Christians. I knew I wanted to live for Jesus but how do you do that? I needed to meet somebody else that felt that way. So, the Lord supernaturally heard the cry of my heart and connected me with this older couple. One of the first things they did was to give me a Bible reading guide. He said “you need to read the Bible and read it every day.” I thought “really, why?” He said I should, so I started this goal of reading the Bible in a year by reading three chapters a day. On my lunch break I would take my Bible and go down to the river. I started in May with the Book of Ezra. I thought Ezra? You got to be kidding me. What is this stuff! But after two days I noticed something is different about me. Something is different about my life. So, I have been a firm believer ever since then.

♪If you read your Bible and pray every day, you’ll grow, grow, grow! ♪

I have been going through a season that is kind of dry. I sit down. I read my Bible. I’m like “Please, Lord, can You just make this seem more like it’s going in…” But you know, if you are just faithful, there is always life in the Word. He breathed it. He spoke it. And if you are just faithful to put it in there, then at the most unexpected moment, He’ll just say something to you that you needed to hear. But if you don’t, if there are no words there for Him to breathe on them…

It’s the faithfulness of every day to by faith “I’m going to read these three chapters today.” And sometimes I read them over and over and over because it seems like my brain is going “I resist that.” My flesh is definitely resisting it (ha, ha, ha). But then in spite of all that, His Holy Spirit is breathing on the face of the waters, on those words, and then at an unexpected moment…

I wasn’t thinking about Landon at the time. I was just being faithful to read the Word but then He breathes on a word and He brings it alive and He says “Say that now to that mountain, to that storm, to that impossibility.” And because it’s His Word, all we have to do is put it in our mouth and say it. We don’t have to do anything except speak because He is watching over it to perform it. Glory! Glory! Glory!

Pastor Ray…

One other thing also, let’s say they are up there on the third level. So, the little boy falls out but on the way down Paul and probably a lot of the other ones, they are running down the stairs to get down to see if he is dead. But I don’t believe Paul said one word of death on the way down. All the levels, he wasn’t saying “You know what, he is probably dead.” I don’t think that came out of his mouth.

And in the same way, Landon’s mother did not go down the escalator floor by floor by floor and say “He’s probably dead.” She didn’t go wild. She didn’t scream at the people and begin to go crazy. She just said “Pray.” That came out of her. It’s like you said. The word came out and the word worked and it’s still working bringing him all the way through 100%. And I like how Pastor Mac had said “there will be a time when he will stand on that platform in here and he will testify.”

We are lifting him up this morning. We haven’t really done that for a while and maybe there are some other things that still need to be made right or completely restored. Just be led Ms. Annie to lift him.

Ms. Annie…

I am going to start out with the Words of Jesus, the heavenly Father, the Word from the beginning said “Don’t be alarmed. He’s alive.”

So, Father, we thank You that there is no fear surrounding Landon, surrounding his family, no fear surrounding his outcome because he is safe in the secret place of the Most High God, safe in Your arms. He is safe in Your care and You are knitting together every cell and every tissue of his body to function in perfection the way You designed and created it to function. Thank You, Lord, that Your plans and Your purposes for Landon’s life will come to pass and that what the Devil meant for harm against him, will be turned around into a glorious testimony of Your magnificence and power and love and goodness. And all who hear of it will be amazed and all who see it will know that You are God and there is a God and He’s a good God and He’s a God of healing and love and mercy.

And Lord, we pray now for that man who threw him over that balcony. We forgive. We release. And we ask You, Lord, to work in his life. We speak to those demons of murder that took hold of him right then and we say “Get out of his body now!” Father, work on his heart that he would desire to be free of that. We plead the blood of Jesus over that mall! We forbid any more demonic attacks! We say they will not take place there in the name of Jesus. And Father, we thank You for surrounding Landon now. We are not afraid in the name of Jesus. We are not afraid. He is alive. We are not alarmed. He is alive. Thank You Lord for the Word of God that You sent into Landon’s body and You healed Him and delivered him from all destruction. And that Your Words are quick and powerful and sharper than a two edged sword and they go in there and they divide between the joints and the marrow and they work healing power and wholeness in every cell in Landon’s body. Bring comfort to him Lord as he is there in this difficult situation out of his normal life.

We thank You Father, that You are there with him, you comfort him, You comfort his family, and that You give wisdom to the doctors, the nurses, and every caregiver has wisdom and insight and supernatural understanding what to do, when to do it, what not to do, what to avoid doing in the name of Jesus. And I ask You for joy Lord. The joy that comes from You is our strength. Let there be joy and rejoicing in Landon’s room and in his circle… There is joy there, unspeakable and full of glory! The joy that comes from knowing You Lord is strengthening Landon and his family now in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Pastor Ray…

That was a good word for a good prayer.

Just one other thing before we worship Him. I had this morning in James 1, be doers of the Word. That’s the whole deal. Remember how that says, sometimes people just look in the mirror and see what they look like but two seconds later they don’t know who they are? Meaning, they do not know who they are in Him. And where is the word?

Years ago my two son’s and I did some work for a Pastor in St. Louis. And his whole deal was “Be a doer of the Word.” And he would go over that in every message he would do. And on his license plate it read “BeDoers.” Oh, I love it!

Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord. I lift up Pastor Harvey in the northeastern part St. Louis in Jesus’ name. We come against the work of the enemy that tried to come against him. We plead the blood of Jesus over Pastor Harvey in Jesus’ name and call forth the blessings of God upon him that that Word that he had to be a doer of the Word is working for him in these days, in this season right now. Thank You, Father. Whatever he needs, whatever the plan that You have for him, we believe it’s coming to pass in Jesus’ name. Thank You, Father.

The way we got connected to that pastor was he would watch videos of Pastor Mac and it was in our old building. And the way we got connected was because old building was purple. It has nothing to do with the Vikings. It was all purple. So, he loved the color of the church and he went through some architects and got a hold of us. And that’s how we were able to go there. We were able to do lots of different things for him then. We are talking years ago. But Holy Spirit must have had him be brought up here this morning.

This morning I also read from 1 Peter 3:8. It’s about the things that we can do. When I read things like this I read it from a prayer angle. If we are truly lifting up the Word, truly believing what we say will come to pass, here is what we should do.

(8-12) Summing up: Be agreeable, be sympathetic, be loving, be compassionate, be humble. That goes for all of you, no exceptions…

You can’t be disagreeable, non-sympathetic, don’t walk in love, have no compassion, and not be humble.

…No retaliation. No sharp-tongued sarcasm. Instead, bless—that’s your job, to bless. You’ll be a blessing and also get a blessing.

We give what we pray, what we say, comes back.

Whoever wants to embrace life and see the day fill up with good,
Here’s what you do: Say nothing evil or hurtful;
Snub evil and cultivate good; run after peace for all you’re worth.
God looks on all this with approval, listening and responding well to what he’s asked;
But he turns his back on those who do evil things.

In other words, go against all these things. They will not bless and they will not be blessed.

(13-18) If with heart and soul you’re doing good, do you think you can be stopped? Even if you suffer for it, you’re still better off. Don’t give the opposition a second thought.

That’s my favorite part of this whole thing. We do these things. We bless others. That’s what we do when we are praying. We’re declaring the Word of God. We’re blessing, interceding on behalf of others. I love it that when we… I see it sort of like this. We come through the doors of the Chapel and our deals are left outside the doors. But their deals, whatever it is, the Holy Spirit brings it to us and we bring it forth. Selah.

So, we will lift Him up. He is worthy. He is so worthy. Something always happens inside of us when we worship Him. I believe that with all of my heart. Many of the times when we come in… We do come in one way. But when we lift up our voices and worship the King of kings, the Lord of all lords, He changes something in us. And then we don’t leave the same way. And then we don’t see the same way. And then we don’t speak the same way because it’s ministry heavenward and ministry earth to earth to us in our hearts.

Thank you for the ministry of Your precious Holy Spirit unto each one of us individually. You know all of the things. You know all of our needs. You know what it is Lord. Thank You for the faithfulness. Thank You for the Cross. Thank You for the blood of Jesus. Thank You for making a way where there wasn’t a way in the natural. But You made a way supernaturally. We thank You for it today. We honor You, lift You, magnify You.

Ms. Annie led us singing We Love You Lord

Ms. Annie, let me just break in. The Holy Spirit just reminded me of what else we read. When the little boy fell out of the window and Paul went down, the words that he spoke over him. Then the people picked him up and took him home perfectly restored. I just wanted to add that onto our prayer for Landon this morning. He is going home. He is restored. The work was already done on the Cross. His parents are doers of the Word, speaking it. His grandparents raised their children, because they were doers of the Word. And it goes down through children and children, a legacy of the Word of God working. Hallelujah! Healed, restored, and whole—that’s it.

Scripture focus…

(17) [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,

We believe for it Lord. We receive a spirit of wisdom, understanding, revelation concerning the mysteries, concerning secrets in You, in the deep and intimate knowledge of You. We receive. We believe. Therefore we do receive.

(18) By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),

(19) And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,

I love that picture. I mean I don’t love that he fell out of a window. But I love that picture. That Paul was not moved by what people thought the results would be. He was moved to lay upon him and declare the Word of truth over him. And it was His mighty strength. He believed therefore he spoke and the strength of God, the strength of heaven, the power of the Holy Spirit raised that little boy up from the dead.

…so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of Your power Lord in us who believe

We believe You Lord. We believe in what You are doing. We believe You have placed within each one of us a strength today, supernatural power from heaven to continue to contend, to continue to stand strong, to continue to declare all day long “This is the way it is. This is the way it will be. No weapon formed against me will prosper. I am above and not beneath. I am the head and not the tail. The blood of Jesus is over me. I’ve overcome because He overcame through that precious holy blood that was shed.”

We will never ever be the same for we are changed from one degree of glory and then we move up another degree. We’re always on an ascendency. We get it Lord. It’s Your power, Your mighty strength working on our behalf. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. Hallelujah.

(20) Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places],

(21) Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.

(22) And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church],

(23) Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself]. Ephesians 1:17-23

(6) And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

(10) For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. Ephesians 2:6, 10

Glory! We partake of it Lord. We believe it. Thank You for planning for us before the beginning of time. Thank You for preplanning our future and the days and the weeks and the months that are to come. Thank You for strengthening us by Your Spirit through the blood to overcome every obstacle along the way to go through. We don’t have to, really, go around or go over but You’ve given us a way. You are our Way Maker and You’ve made a way for us to go right on through.

We purpose and believe and we receive a supernatural strengthening to continue to contend, to continue to go forward, speak the right things, declare the right things, to always pray, to always lift our voices. To always have our voices saturated with the compassion from heaven, to always walk in the love that You’ve given unto us through Your dear Son. Thank You for Your love. You loved us so much that You sent Your Son, thank You. Thank You for the victory of the cross. We see it. And we’ll keep that picture of the cross and what You did through Your Son.

We command some alignment out in the time that is to come. We command it to be so—an alignment for the Church to be in line, on time, right at the right time. The sheep, the sheep, thank You.

We pray our leaders up, we lift our pastors, Mac and Lynne. They see, they know, they hear, they’re moving from one degree of glory to another. They walk in wisdom. In You and through Your Word, we can say the best is yet to come. The best, the better, the greater is still yet to come. We pray over leaders everywhere, those that are in positions of authority politically speaking and spiritually speaking. We lift them up. We pray in the political realm, we lift and pray over our president, over his whole entire family, those that are in the White House that are speaking daily words of wisdom right into him. We believe for a soft heart to hear words from heaven that keep him near You, to keep him walking, keep him declaring, keep him expecting the best, the better, the greater, a furtherance and more.

We pray over all of the keys, the keys that unlock avenues, ways, walkways, and pathways and plans and purposes. We pray over these for the right time and for the right place in Jesus’ name. Nothing, nothing, no words from the enemy can hold us down. We are not down. We are up. We are looking up from where all of our help, health, prosperity of every kind come from. Heaven’s ways, heaven’s days, heaven’s plans.

Pastor Ray…

The Holy Spirit kind of took me out a ways in time, weeks, months, years, and had me turn around and look back and reminded me to look at how He worked out situations back here right now, today, this week, next week, whatever the things have been, whatever they looked, however big they looked, and He began to show me things, situations where He worked for us on our behalf and they became small, little dots and disappeared. And as we looked from the future, we could see the faithfulness of Him by the power of His Spirit and the authority of the blood looking back here in these days that we are living in.

♪ Oh, hallelujah. You are working. You have worked it out. You’re working it out. It will be alright. I will work out. It’s been worked out (ha, ha, ha) hallelujah. Oh, ♪

Ms. Jeani…

So, when I was standing over there I saw prisoners and they had numbers on their backs. When you go to prison they give you a number and they don’t call you by your name. And then I saw the tattoos that the Nazi’s gave the Jews on their arms which were numbers because they don’t call you by your name. And you know sometimes we get things in prayer but we don’t say them because we don’t know if they apply but He just wouldn’t leave me alone with it. And God wants you to know, you are not a number.

You know when you wait in line, they give you a number. And times when you have endured and you feel like a number to God. You are not a number to Him. He gave you a name and then coupled with that name is His name to co-labor with your name. You name co-laborer with His name. You are not a number. He loves you. There is no one else like you and He wants you name and His to come together. Your name is not alone. He wants You to do it with Him and He wants to do it with you.

So, right now we just declare over everyone here, over the Church, over America, over Israel, over all those that feel like they are standing in line to make an exchange and it’s a stupid exchange. We say “No.” You are not a number. You have a name. He gave you a name and He didn’t stop there. He gave you His name. And with a name you are free. You are no longer captive. You are free and you are free indeed. And even today, the work of your hands are blessed, He notices you, He is with you, He wants to co-labor with you.

So, even now we thank God that He gave you His name.

Pastor Ray…

Hallelujah. When you were talking about that, I just can’t get this out of my thoughts. His joy…. Have you ever prayed a sad prayer? Oh, Lord. That’s not it. For the joy of the Lord is our strength. When? Right now! We are co-laborers with Him. We have the name that is above every other name. We are not down. We are up. We are believers! We are equipped. The blood is over us. It’s working through us. We’ve overcome through that blood. We have so much to be happy and joyful about that our prayers should be happy prayers. Because we know that He knows who we are and He knows our name even the hairs on our heads! (ha, ha, ha) Hallelujah!

So, He has given us the joy inside to bring strength to us on the outside and keep us moving all the way through because we know because of that name, we overcome. It’s works out right. It’s going to be alright and we’ll look back and see, thank You Lord, it worked out just right in Jesus’ name. Amen.
