Prayer Summary for Wednesday, April 12, 2017

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Being faithful to just the call that God has put in each one of our lives, the gifts that are within us, that we focus on those. We know what He has done for us. We know about some things He has called us to do. Yes? Okay. And so we are in prayer but when we do what He has gifted us to do, like confessing this confession or reading and standing on the Word, prayer, it helps us all fit together the way the Word shays we should. Because if I forget about what He has done for me or forget about anything that He has called me to do and I try to do someone else’s plan or purpose, it just won’t work. There is no anointing on it then. And there is an anointing on what He has called us to do. Amen.

Scripture focus…

(8) Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and disregards the offenses of others]. I Peter 4:8 (AMPC)

Pastor Ray commented…

That’s a big deal. It’s so easy to hold offense, take offense. If we do, a lot of the time the offender doesn’t even know it. I heard of a family, he is a minister, he said there were members of his family that never ever made headway in their lives for 20 years because they took offense from some of the other members of the family and they never went anywhere. For twenty years they never changed. And they probably did change but they were changing backwards. You know, they were going nowhere.

(9) Practice hospitality to one another (those of the household of faith). [Be hospitable, be a lover of strangers, with brotherly affection for the unknown guests, the foreigners, the poor, and all others who come your way who are of Christ’s body.] And [in each instance] do it ungrudgingly (cordially and graciously, without complaining but as representing Him).
(10) As each of you has received a gift (a particular spiritual talent, a gracious divine endowment), employ it for one another as [befits] good trustees of God’s many-sided grace [faithful stewards of the extremely diverse powers and gifts granted to Christians by unmerited favor].
(11) Whoever speaks, [let him do it as one who utters] oracles of God; whoever renders service, [let him do it] as with the strength which God furnishes abundantly, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him be the glory and dominion forever and ever (through endless ages). Amen (so be it). I Peter 4:9–11 (AMPC)

(7–11) Everything in the world is about to be wrapped up, so take nothing for granted. Stay wide-awake in prayer. Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless—cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God’s words; if help, let it be God’s hearty help. That way, God’s bright presence will be evident in everything through Jesus, and he’ll get all the credit as the One mighty in everything—encores to the end of time. Oh, yes! I Peter 4:7-11 (MSG)

Pastor Ray commented…

When we were in France Pastor Lynne was talking about some prayer times way back in the old building. We didn’t have chairs, just benches around the walls of the prayer room. It was all carpet in there so a lot of the times we would just lay on the floor. This one man would fall asleep and you could hear him sleeping while we were praying (ha, ha, ha). There was some heavy breathing okay. She said a lot of times though when they would get over to contending against the devil, he would wake up and get in on it. Just like that. step right in and with everyone else take authority over the devil. Do what needed to be done and then go to sleep (ha, ha, ha).

Every single one of us have a special supply, a unique gift. He through His Word is calling us up, calling us out and saying to us “do what I have given you to do.” Just be faithful to what the gift within us is and He will take care of the rest. Isn’t that right? Many times if there are doors that needed to be opened and we are doing what we are called to do, those doors will be open when we get there. Yes? If we are walking in love, we are standing on His Word, we are confessing His Word, we are using the blood, we are covered, protected, we will be directed. Ok, we will know what it is that we are to do. Sometimes it’s almost like we fall into it or we find ourselves doing something or saying something that we didn’t know ourselves. You know, it’s a surprise.

God is so good. The Holy Spirit is so faithful. He never quits. He never gives up on us. He is always for us, Amen. He is always working things out on our behalf. That’s why we need to do the best of the best we can do what He has called us to do. Here in this Chapel, what are we to do? Pray. So, we are blessed. It’s such a privilege we can come here in this Chapel. Ms. Annie will play, whatever needs to be done, it’s such a blessing. I would say it many times but when you go elsewhere, you find out (whoa!) not everybody has what we have. So that’s being thankful for what we have and not just taking it for granted. It’s so easy to do that but we are not doing that, right.

For me it was a help to be gone for two weeks in France with no TV or news. I could get news, of course, but you just get highlights of what’s going on. But you do not come under other people’s opinion about what has happened or what needs to happen. I had that happen before. It’s a forced separation from an overload of how the media present things. For me, it makes it much easier to use my faith to confess something like this over our country, over our president, over our leadership, congress, the senate, you know all the way down through. I believe May 4, the National Day of Prayer and that’s when we have opportunity to be down by the stadium, Some business, heaven’s business will be done on that day. And it will have an effect not just here in our own cities, suburbs, it will have an effect but it will have an effect nationwide. I believe state by state by state as men and women and children take their place in a place of unity with their brothers and their sisters and lift up their voices in one accord, it will bring a change. That could be a key to the beginning of great change when it comes to unity in our nation, one nation under God, hallelujah.

Continued praying…

Jesus is Lord over America
We declare You Lord over our nation
Revival, the move of Your precious Holy Spirit
Wherever we have blocked it; wherever we have not been open or missed it we repent, Lord
Because we know that that is Your plan, it’s Your plan
It’s in Your Word, the former rain and the latter rain together
Signs, wondrous events, happenings, visions, translation
Father, we open our hearts and we purpose to never take for granted what You have done
But what You are doing and how it will unfold
You said when we lift up and pray over positions of authority
It will go well with us – we believe it
Things that needed to happen will happen
Turns that need to be made will take place
Sometimes it’s an absolute paradigm shift
Where we see things in an absolutely different way
We thought we knew what we were seeing but we weren’t seeing it all
Or maybe we weren’t seeing from the right side
We open our eyes and our ears and hearts this morning
We want it, Lord, we want revival
We want an outpouring – not that we might say how great it is
But that it would bring forth those final lost and bring them in
From every kindred, every people group, every direction
Father, we pray that the Churches would be overflowing with Your mighty presence once again
Not just in our own stream, something that we are familiar with
But in all streams of ministry
The outpouring of Your Holy Spirit

Ms. Annie led us in singing “Holy Spirit You are Welcome Here”

When we are overcome like that
We will do things that we would never do
When we are truly opened up to Him and to the mighty precious Holy Spirit
Father, we pray over ever Church
Beginning here in Minnesota
All of the Churches that lifts You up
That what we are singing for now – Your presence
Would be manifested in these churches that lift You up
Something different, something unusual, something new
A tangible touch from heaven above – we call for it now
In these upcoming Easter services
We ask on behalf of our brothers and sisters here in our state
Doesn’t matter the size of the Church
It matters that Your presence would touch and bring these changes
Thank You, Holy Spirit
A drawing the people, a change for the people
Everything is rearranged and changed
Surprises, turnabouts, rearranged by the presence
Lives changed, hearts changed, minds changed
Marriages, bodies healed and made whole by Your presence
A change in the atmosphere in the White House
Clearing some things out and bringing some other things in by the anointing
Praying over every house and household
Calling for change!
Across the whole country
Your fragrance of truth, love, peace, and joy
It’s a fragrance of the knowledge of God’s mighty hand
The knowledge of You
They smell something wonderful
Fear and doubt just seems to get out when that fragrance rolls into the room
Strife and discord goes out
And He comes with His beautiful light
And it will be so peaceful; so easy and so light
We rest in Your presence, You flow
Invitations of Your Spirit rolling throughout the land
By the power of the blood, we have overcome
You are making wrong things right by and through the blood
Opportunities and destinies unfolding
Even the obligations we have been called to carry
We will do
Broken ways will be restored and made new through the blood
We will proclaim the power in His name
There is a sound of victory
And it’s in the Church
Watch and see and pray
Things are changing to the new
A calling it forth, an absolutely demanding change
Pressing on through in every single day – change!
Things that need to be finished – be done, be finished
And then over into the new
See it and seized it, take hold of it by faith
Call it, hold fast, and contend and it shall come forth
Entering into different times, steady ways
Oh, we are strengthened Lord
It’s Your glory, it’s Your presence, It’s Your touch
It’s Your change – we open ourselves to it

There is a higher place, there is a holy place
A holy of holy of holy place
I call for it, a deeper place
There is drawing and drawing where the incense is
Come to the Holy of Holies
There is change there, authority there

For the Lord is good – so good
He is good and His mercy endures forever
His mercies are from everlasting to everlasting
New every morning, every morning
Hallelujah

I just sense the rain right now, the rain of the Spirit like drops of living water
Rain, rain, rain all around
We receive the rain, hallelujah
Thank You, Lord

Seems like there were some dark clouds that have exited out
Blue skies, good ways, ways to see and know and hear, ways to go
More increase in strength through the joy that’s within us from heaven above
We can do it, we will do it by the power of the blood we overcome

Thank You so much for the beautiful presence of Your Spirit
This is blessed, we are blessed, this day is blessed and we are anointed
This day Your anointing will go with us and brings change wherever we go
Thank You for boldness and courage from heaven
For the gifts You have placed in each one of us
For Your help and strength to let them out!
Hallelujah. Thank You for coming
