Prayer Summary for Tuesday, May 23, 2017

Ms. Annie shared…

I was frazzled today because it was just one of those mornings, topsy turvey and everything. I came to the route I normally go and there were all these trucks blocking the road. I couldn’t go and so finally I just went around it to go another way. I ran into a similar thing a half a mile down the road and I was so exasperated and just crying to the Lord. And I opened my eyes and the license plate of the car in front of me read “IMLOVED.” You can’t make this stuff up (lol). Busted by the Holy Ghost! I was like “Oh yea, You’re right. Thanks, Lord.”

Yes. No matter our situation, we are loved by the King. We are all loved by Him. So why do we fret? Actually I know none of you ever do (ha, ha, ha). But today, I needed to be reminded. I am loved and we are loved.

Ms. Annie led us singing “Welcome Holy Spirit”

Prayed…

We bless You, we bless You, Holy Spirit
Holy Spirit, we are so glad you live in us – Thank You
Today we welcome You, we want You
We do not underestimate the power that it is in us
The Holy Spirit that gives us utterance
Thank You that each one of us has a valuable supply
Holy utterance!
Thank You for Your goodness
How close You are to us, so attentive
So we lean into You this morning
Co-laborers with You
You didn’t need us but You chose to co-labor with us

Ms. Jeani shared…

In John it talks about Jesus’ first miracle. And here is what the Word says about His first miracle.

“This, the first of His signs (miracles, wonderworks), Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory [by it He displayed His greatness and His power openly], and His disciples believed in Him [adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him].” John 2:11 (AMPC)

So with His first miracle He displayed His greatness and His power openly. But what happened before He displayed His power openly?

“On the third day there was a wedding at Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. (2) Jesus also was invited with His disciples to the wedding. (3) And when the wine was all gone, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no more wine! (4) Jesus said to her, [Dear] woman, what is that to you and to Me? [What do we have in common? Leave it to Me.] My time (hour to act) has not yet come.” John 2:1–4 (AMPC)

So, Jesus said it’s not My time to be manifested. It’s not My time to openly display My glory. But Mary had something else in mind. And Jesus only did what He saw the Father do. And I don’t know about you but this provokes me to enter into a conversation with Holy Spirit and say “What was happening?” I mean it was the first time He launched. It was the first time… It was the beginning of the whole thing. And it was the co-laboring of hunger, of wanting to experience more, of wanting heaven on earth, that was what launched His ministry. It was a co-laboring that launched His ministry. It wasn’t the third miracle. It wasn’t the fourth. It was the very beginning of Him being revealed and it started with Mary’s desire. That blows me away!

“And said to him, Everyone else serves his best wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then he serves that which is not so good; but you have kept back the good wine until now!” John 2:10 (AMPC)

We have heard about revival. We have heard about awakening. And our desire, our importunity as we pray for America today… enforcing that it has already been finished.

“… and He manifested His glory …He displayed His greatness and His power openly]” John 2:11 (AMPC)

And it started with Mary saying, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” She would not even except delay, from Jesus. And now we are in a place where it is finished, where it has already been done. And the Holy Spirit wasn’t dwelling in Mary. She just had a relationship with Him and had to have more. She wanted to experience His glory manifested. And the Father looked at Jesus and said “I guess it’s time.”

“This, the first of His signs (miracles, wonderworks), Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory [by it He displayed His greatness and His power openly]…” John 2:11 (AMPC).

This was the first of His signs. How much more can we contend for today.

Ms. Annie commented….

When you read that part that said you have saved the best wine till last, my spirit went “I’ll take that!” We have had some good wine of the Holy Ghost but when you read that verse, but you have saved the best wine for last… Oh, I’ll take that! We will take some new wine. First I am going to make myself a new wineskin. I am going to be a new wineskin. I am not going to be an old wineskin. I am going to be a new wineskin. Hallelujah, right! We purge out the old leaven, today. We are continually purging out the old leaven.

Ms. Jeani commented…

We might as well contend for today because there is so much more than we could ask or think. So let’s contend today.

Prayed…

We continually contend and pray
That the eyes of our understanding would be enlightened
That we might know what is the hope of our calling
And what are the riches of the glory of our inheritance in Him
That we be rooted and grounded in love

We call You, Father
When You reveal Yourself and respond to our desire
For Your manifested glory
On earth as it is in heaven
Make Yourself known on the earth
And we seek to know You
The hope of our calling
The inheritance of the saints
We seek for You to see us, to know us
Right now even as we pray for America
We receive from Your limitless, endless supply of possibility
Possibility that is far and above all we can ask or think
Possibility, possibility today because the time is now
Now, faith is, right now!

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Ms. Annie led us singing “We Sing Hallelujah, the Lamb has Overcome”

Ms. Heather shared…

The Spirit of the Living God is inside of us. Just let the gravity of that fill you up right now. The Spirit of the Living God, the living, breathing, all powerful King of the Universe, the One that carved the mountains with His fingertips, the One that filled the oceans, the One that created every grain of sand on the ocean shore, His living breathing Spirit is inside of us. Just let the revelation of that just sink inside. Just see it, the Living God, the One who set the universe into play, that put every star in the heaven, that same living, breathing Spirit is inside of us.

Ms. Jeani prayed…

Father, we receive that. We will not underestimate the power that is in us to change the world. Knowing that it’s You, knowing that it is fully You and knowing that although You don’t need us, You chose to co-labor with us. And we cause that mystery to provoke us just to be with You, just to lean into You and receive more and more and deeper and wider revelation of the power that is at work within us that overcame the world. Amen.

Thanks for coming.
