Prayer Summary for Tuesday, April 11, 2017

Scripture focus…

(1) Therefore be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]. (2) And walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance. Ephesians 5:2 (AMPC)

(1-2) Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that. Ephesians 5:1–2 (MSG).

We do receive. His love will come back in different ways. It is just amazing. But maybe really we could say it’s not amazing. It’s just the way He created it to be. Hallelujah

Prayed…

For the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever
You were so good yesterday, but this is a new day
And You are good today
All of our needs are already met
It was done on the Cross at Calvary through the blood
We overcome because He overcame
Thank You for meeting all of our needs
For healing us – thank You
For making a way where there was no way
For clearing things up that needed to be cleared up
For opening up doors that needed to be opened at the right time
Thank You, Lord, hallelujah
We minister to You, we serve You, we love and honor You
We love who You are; what You have done for us
You are so good, so great, so beautiful
Thank You, Lord

Ms. Annie led us singing…

I was reading in John 13 this morning. It said, knowing that He had come from the Father and He was going to the Father and also having loved His disciples, He loved them to the end. So, it came back to me this little Spirit song I got one morning on the way here.

For You loved me to the end

There is a fountain flowing from Your side
That washes me from death to life
How beautiful the wounds that make me whole

Thank You for even this week between Palm Sunday and Easter
We celebrate what You did, Your faithfulness

Scripture focus…

By faith we will remind ourselves of what He did do for us.

(23) For I received from the Lord Himself that which I passed on to you [it was given to me personally], that the Lord Jesus on the night when He was treacherously delivered up and while His betrayal was in progress took bread,
(24) And when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and said, Take, eat. This is My body, which is broken for you. Do this to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance. I Corinthians 11:23–24 (AMPC)

We remember what You did for us
The things that You had to receive, the whipping, the crown
We bring to our remembrance today exactly the way this scripture says
The bread, the body
As we are lifting You, lifting Your name, we remember that we are not the same
Through that blood on Calvary we were changed
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
You finished it all so we could finish it all
That we could go through in victory every day
We remind ourselves of it

(25) Similarly when supper was ended, He took the cup also, saying, This cup is the new covenant [ratified and established] in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink [it], to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance.
(26) For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are representing and signifying and proclaiming the fact of the Lord’s death until He comes [again].
(29) For anyone who eats and drinks without discriminating and recognizing with due appreciation that [it is Christ’s] body, eats and drinks a sentence (a verdict of judgment) upon himself.
(30) That [careless and unworthy participation] is the reason many of you are weak and sickly, and quite enough of you have fallen into the sleep of death. I Corinthians 11:25–30 (AMPC)

Continued praying…

When we bring these things to our remembrance
When those words were declared “It was finished”
It was not only finished for our bodies to be whole and healthy
But it also was finished as far as our finances
Financially, that every need is met – that was finished
Totally completely spirit, soul, and body finished
We are grateful and we repent where we had not been grateful
We honor You and love You

Pastor Ray shared…

I had a picture when Ms. Annie started playing certain notes. To me what I saw was a calendar and the pages were being turned over month after month. April finished, May finished, and all the way through June, July, August, September, October, November, December over into 2018. Then January, February, March into April. A year of time where the months seemingly moved more quickly. But I heard this, if we will keep our ears open, keep our hearts tuned in and tuned up, listen and do what He tells us and shows us to do all throughout this April, there will be a step up. And it will be like that in every month throughout the rest of this year and into next. That it will be so much more than even what we expected it would be when we look back 2018 in April and see where we came from and where we are then.

Changes, changed by the Spirit, changed through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, speaking sometimes words given unto us by Him, words spoken. These words will stop things. These words will open other things, ways, steps, and doors, and opportunities. So as we walk through… Here we are in April, me and you, you know together, we will walk up. We will not walk down. We will walk through. We will not be blocked or stopped in what God has called each one of us to do. We will not be stopped. For we’ve been given the anointing, we’ve been given the equipment, and words by the Spirit to speak, prayers to pray, connections to heaven.

We are changing and things around us are changing too. But as the Church, members of the body, I believe we will continually walk upward. Sometimes it will be a small step. Sometimes it will be a little bit larger step but the progression will be there, the momentum will be there, and we will go through this year and into that next year and be absolutely changed from where we are right now today, this day, over to that day. Changed by the anointing, changed by the ministry of the Holy Spirit, changed because of what the blood did and how that declaration on the Cross said “It is finish.” Hallelujah, thank You, Father, for it.

We believe for that, Lord
We know we did not leave us alone
You left us Your Spirit
Thank You for an increased presence in our lives
When we take the time to worship our hearts are softened more
Our eyes see more clearly what You’re showing us, revealing to each one of us
Thank You so much, hallelujah

We will just finish this morning with the confession that we have been doing every day.

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:

Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.

We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.

We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
