Jerre led in worship…

♪ Father, You are my portion in this life… And You are my delight… And I love You… Yes, I love You… ♪

Let’s say that to the Father: “Father, You are my delight. I delight myself in You, Lord.”

That’s good. We delight to do Your will, Lord. I want to share something about music. My mother-in-law is in a memory-care center. It’s secular, not a Christian place. One of the ladies there has a husband who was an Assembly of God pastor. This lady knows how to play the piano. She doesn’t need sheet music. One of the nurses that worked there said when people lose their memory, they don’t lose their song. She said, “Just try it with your mother-in-law. When you start playing hymns, if she knew those hymns, she’ll be able to tune in with the song. It doesn’t go away.” I love that. So Sandy and I tried it. We had this woman play, “His Eye Is on the Sparrow.” That was her song; she would always sing it. Sandy’s mom was actually able to tune in to the song and started singing. She couldn’t remember all the words, but she could remember the melody. It was in her heart. It’s special that worship would stay with a person even when the mind couldn’t remember things. She can’t remember her house, car, or this church. She remembers Sandy and me. But the songs that she sang are still in there.

Steve’s dad was in a nursing home after he had had a stroke. We’d bring pictures sometimes cuz he couldn’t talk at all. One time as I was getting ready to go, I said, “I’m so tired of just going up there and not giving him something of the Spirit.” He was born again and we decided to pray with him to receive the Holy Ghost and speak with other tongues. And Steve goes, “But he can’t talk!” I said, “Well, we need to give him something!” We laid hands on him and I don’t know how, but that part of the brain that is God’s, he was able to fluently speak in other tongues. Fluently! That part of the brain just must be God’s. The Devil can’t touch it.

I have a testimony on that too. We got a call from a family member to visit a loved one in group care. I went with some Disciple Interns to this place. We didn’t know what to expect. When we got there, we realized that everybody in that group home had some kind of challenge in memory. We asked for the lady that we were asked to visit. We saw her and she was kind of down like this. We were at a loss as to how to minister to her so we had her come to the table and we sat around the table. We just decided by the Holy Ghost to just start singing. We began to sing all these childhood songs and she caught on and she began to sing. So we sang, “This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine.” And she was singing and the nurse was wondering what was happening to her. Then she stood up and started to dance. She had not done that before. So the nurse went to hold her hand and danced around the floor with her. She was just dancing and singing and the nurse said, “I’ve never seen this before.” Needless to say, her attitude and music that day brought that nurse to the Lord. Glory to God.

I wanted to go through this healing confession by John Osteen. It’s about healing but it’s also about finishing our course, not checking out early before we’ve finished His call on our lives.

Healing Confession by John Osteen

Father, Your Word says, “I will take sickness from the midst of thee … the number of thy days I will fulfill” (Exodus 23:25–26).

Therefore, I refuse to die before my time. I will not die one day nor one second before I should. You have promised me “long life” and I will settle for nothing less. I will not have a heart attack, nor a stroke. I will not be cut down by the enemy in any way. The number of my days shall be fulfilled by the loving care of my Heavenly Father. My family needs me. The church needs me. The body of Christ needs me. Therefore, I shall stay in this body my full allotted time.

“Christ hath redeemed (me) from the curse of the law” (Galatians 3:13). “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins” (Ephesians 1:7). “Unto Him that loveth us and washed us from our sins in his own blood” (Revelation 1:5).

Lord, the curse of the law is for those who are guilty of sin. They can expect sickness and disease, but not me. I am declared “not guilty” because I am justified by Jesus’ blood. Lord, look on me and search me. Can you find any trace of sin left after the blood of Your Son has cleansed me? Can You condemn me? Ask and search through all heaven and hell and see if there is any record of any transgression against me. Check Your own memory, which is infinite, and You will say, “I have no remembrance of your ever having been charged with one sin.” “Their sins and iniquities will I remember no more” (Hebrews 10:17).

Shall not the judge of the earth do right? Will I who have no sins against me and am not guilty of breaking Your law have to bear its curse of sickness and disease? Shall one of Your promises fail? No! Because I am “not guilty,” I am the “righteousness of God.” You have taken sickness away from the midst of me, and the number of my days You will fulfill. I am redeemed from the curse of the law by Christ Jesus and His precious blood. Satan, I resist you in the name of Jesus! God is my defense. Go! in Jesus’ name.

“That by (going through) death He might bring to naught (zero) and make of no effect, him who had the power of death, that is, the devil” (Hebrews 2:14). “I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore, amen, and have the keys of hades and of death” (Revelation 1:18).

Father, who has the power of death? Your Word says Satan did have, but now Your Son Jesus has the keys of death. He has the power of death. He took those keys by His mighty power when He descended into the lower parts of the earth. He is Lord over death! I cannot die until he personally turns the key! I boldly say that He will not turn the key until my days are fulfilled. I am Your child. I am joined with You in reaching this lost world with the Gospel. No demon nor devil can kill me. No disease or sickness can kill me. I cannot die until my Savior, who loved me and redeemed me, says it is time. Therefore, I fear not. God is in charge. I will live on and on doing the work of Jesus, and when it is time, I will just fall asleep in Him. All sickness has left my body. You, O Lord, have taken sickness away from the midst of me.

“Who hath delivered (me) from the power of darkness, and hath translated (me) into the kingdom of His dear Son” (Colossians 1:13).

I boldly confess before Your throne that I have resisted the Devil and he has fled from me, taking all his symptoms with him. He has nothing on me. He has no power over me.

“With His stripes, I am healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

Father, I say this boldly, not on the basis of sight, feeling, or symptoms, but rather in the face of them: by His stripes I am healed. I believe this in my heart and say it with my mouth and it is mine.

I walk in divine health. I have no sickness, no weakness. God is the strength of my life. I will do the work of God joyfully and successfully. Because I am healed, I will believe, act, and talk like it. It is all based on Your Word, Father. You watch over Your Word to perform it and make it good (Jeremiah 1:12). [end of confession]

Pastor Ray continued sharing…

Have you ever caught yourself not watching over what you say? Or looking at what you see or what you feel? It’s time for the Church, especially the praying church, to walk in divine health and wholeness in every area—spirit, soul, and body! We thank You, Father, for it.

That the body of Christ, the Church, does what You’ve called it to do in these times

Jerre led in song…

Take me deeper in Your love… Take me deeper into Your love… Take us higher in Your love… Deeper and deeper, O Lord, in You…

Father, we stand in the power of agreement with You and with our members here in this city of Minneapolis, a great gathering of the saints of God, ordained by Your Spirit. We apply the blood of the everlasting covenant over all of those that would participate and speak. And we declare no weapon, no strategy, no plot, no conspiracy of the enemy can prosper in the name of Jesus. Father, we thank You for a great work that will be done today in the realm of the Spirit. For You instructed Your leaders to do this, and so we thank You that it will produce a great change in this region in this state and in this nation. For under the unction of the Holy Spirit, there will be change. We declare it. We believe it. We receive it and we thank You. A great unity in the body of Christ. A great demonstration. This is a demonstration of Your love. This is a demonstration of who You are. This is a demonstration of the power of God, making people come together in unity and oneness in love. Thank You for divine utterance for Reverend Graham. Thank You for words from heaven, words that will pierce and penetrate the hearts of believers, words that will pierce and penetrate the very atmosphere, words that will change and rearrange the spiritual climate of this nation, words ordained and uttered by Your Spirit, Father. Words from heaven, words to build up and words to tear down and words to change and words to rearrange. We delight in You, Father. This opportunity to gather and to worship You as the body of Christ, to boldly declare one nation under one God, the only true and living God. The God of all mercies and the God of all grace. So we thank You, Father, for this great day and for all of those days that will come in the future for those planned events and the course which You have ordered and ordained for Your servant. We loose angels, ministering spirits to go and work on behalf of the heirs of salvation. To bring about change. To bring about that which You have ordained in the name of Jesus. Thank You for salvations, healings, and deliverances for infillings of the Holy Spirit. For a spiritual resurrection power coursing in the body today in this region by Your Spirit and by Your grace. We give You glory and thank You for the changes in advance.

I want to end our time by praying Psalm 91 over this event, all the people that are coming and everything that needs to take place for protection.

Psalms 91 (The Message)

You who sit down in the High God’s presence,
spend the night in Shaddai’s shadow,
Say this: “God, you’re my refuge.
I trust in you and I’m safe!”
That’s right—he rescues you from hidden traps,
shields you from deadly hazards.
His huge outstretched arms protect you—
under them you’re perfectly safe;
his arms fend off all harm.
Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night,
not flying arrows in the day,
Not disease that prowls through the darkness,
not disaster that erupts at high noon.
Even though others succumb all around,
drop like flies right and left,
no harm will even graze you.
You’ll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance,
watch the wicked turn into corpses.
Yes, because God’s your refuge,
the High God your very own home,
Evil can’t get close to you,
harm can’t get through the door.
He ordered his angels
to guard you wherever you go.
If you stumble, they’ll catch you;
their job is to keep you from falling.
You’ll walk unharmed among lions and snakes,
and kick young lions and serpents from the path.

“If you’ll hold on to me for dear life,” says God,
“I’ll get you out of any trouble.
I’ll give you the best of care
if you’ll only get to know and trust me.
Call me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times;
I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party.
I’ll give you a long life,
give you a long drink of salvation!”

Prayed…

Father, thank You for Your Word
Thank You for Your protection and the power of Your Holy Spirit that is resident within us
