Prayer Summary for Thursday, January 15, 2015

Prayed…

You’re so welcome in this place and this room
We need more of You
I know You’ve been sent; I know we have received, but I know there is more that we can and will receive of You
So we just welcome that increase, we welcome the more, more of You in our lives
Open up our hearts to be able to yield to You
Father, by Your Spirit, You change everything and things are rearranged
Where things that need to be stopped will be stopped because of You and Your power

Pastor Ray gave word…

I heard this: “For I have called you, I have anointed you, I’ve called you personally—you—to move from one degree of glory to another; to, by faith, take steps of faith and see yourself personally and then also corporately move up to different levels in Me. For there is more, there is a whole lot more in store. Yes, there is a storehouse, many different resources and things, many solutions and answers that are sent from the King. They’ve been sent so in that spirit of seeing and knowing, see yourself and see your feet spiritually. Feet. Move from one degree to another to another and to another and do not settle in to status quo but watch your feet and where they go. Stand tall in Me and stretch out by faith and you shall see. Steps of glory in Me, further, further, and further.”

Prayed…

We believe, Father, that the time we spend with You like this and expecting to hear from You that increase or more of Your presence changes what we see and what we hear and how we know it. And we know that just one of the best ways is to have a continual lifestyle communicating with You. Then too we’ll receive the fullness that You’ve sent to us. By the blood of the Lamb and in the name of Jesus, we clear out some pathways that we’ve been called to walk. We clear them out by the blood. We plead the blood of the Lamb out front for the Church to be able to do what it’s been called to do. To overcome! To walk in victory! To walk in health! To walk in fullness! You alone are worthy of all the glory, the honor.

Depression has to leave
Hindrances have to go
Fear gone in Jesus’ name
For in You and in Your glorious presence, all things have come, have already been won
So we receive by faith, not just for us personally but all the body of Christ

Jerre shared…

I see something, like the “steps” of glory. Every time we take a step to yielding into the Spirit, God sits on the next step waiting for us to reveal Himself to us. That’s how we’ve been praying. We go to the next step and then we yield to the Spirit and there He is, waiting on that next step of glory. It’s so beautiful. I can feel the thrill of Him waiting to pour out on that next step—from glory to glory.

Pastor Ray shared from The Revival Study Bible…

Mark 6:45 “Immediately He made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He sent the multitude away. 46 And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray. 47 Now when evening came, the boat was in the middle of the sea; and He was alone on the land. 48 Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. Now about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea, and would have passed them by. 49 And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out; 50 for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” 51 Then He went up into the boat to them, and the wind ceased. And they were greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marveled. 52 For they had not understood about the loaves, because their heart was hardened.”

Getting Strength From Prayer
Mark 6:46–48

After Jesus fed the five thousand, “He departed to the mountain to pray… Now about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea….”

George Whitefield was pre-eminently a man of prayer; he loved the prayer meeting. It was his heart’s delight. He often spent whole nights in prayer. Although his success was largely attributed to his great powers of eloquence, it was perhaps more because of his time spent in prayer and his attending prayer meetings.

Where was he when his heart became so full that he had to break over and lay aside the Prayer Book, and rush to the throne of grace, and pray as “the Spirit gave him utterance”? He was at the all-night prayer meeting in Red Cross Street, London.

Where were he, the Wesleys, and the others “when the power of God came so mightily upon them that many fell to the ground and cried out for exceeding joy”? They were at a prayer meeting and love feast at Fetter Lane, London, “where they had spent the whole of new Year’s Eve in close prayer, praise, and thanksgiving.” Whitefield said this “was the happiest New Year’s Day he ever saw.” Praying and preaching, he went on from “strength to strength,” until he made the bold strike at Kingswood, and achieved the glorious victory of field-preaching at “Rose Green.”

Where was John Livingstone just before he preached that memorable sermon at the Shotts, in Scotland, which resulted in the conversion of five hundred souls? He had spent the whole of the previous night in a prayer meeting. Where was the apostle Peter before he preached that most powerful sermon on the Day of Pentecost, which made the very murderers of Jesus cry for mercy, and which resulted in the conversion of three thousand souls in a day? He had just come out of a ten-day prayer meeting. If you want to get power to win souls, pray much and linger long in the prayer meeting. (Frank Bartleman 1871–1936)

Pastor Ray shared…

It keeps coming in my heart about the disciples out on that boat, and it said they were rowing and rowing and rowing but because of the wind that was blowing, they were not able to row the way they should have been rowing or could have been rowing. I saw this and I wanted to send it out over the Internet. I saw some situations I’m not sure if it was finances or sickness, maybe both. They’re probably connected. And what I heard by the Spirit to say was to “stop rowing your way and begin to sit back in the rest that He sent your way. Rest in the Lord.” We’ll say it like this: rest in the Lord, remove yourself from trying to work it out and sit in the rest of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and then in that rest, He will enable You to do the rest, to do your plan, to carry out what He’s called you to do. So sit back, relax in Him. Rest in His Words that you know He’s spoken to you and that picture that Miss Jerre saw, the steps, He, the Spirit of the living God, is calling you up out of what you’ve been sitting in, or living in. Keep moving. Keep your faith moving. Keep your vision moving. Keep your expectation growing and growing and keep resting in the Father above. By the power of His Holy Spirit, I send a supply and plead the blood of Jesus over your situation and declare from this chapel to your place, victory for your race. Victory for you to keep up the pace. Victory to run all the way through your completed race, your destination, resting in Him and giving all glory and honor to the Father above. For it has been promised, nothing is impossible in Him.

Some words have already been spoken that are working against you. In Jesus name, we hold the blood of Jesus over you and render those words inoperative. Wholeness, health, wealth, prosperity spirit soul and body—that is the word to stand on and rest in.

Continued praying…

A daily increase, sustaining and strengthening
We lift up leaders that have positions in the Church
We pray for wisdom that they need to lead, to guide and to make decisions
From the top down, the president and all the rest
So they can proceed in the things You’ve called them to operate in the greater things
How to bring it all together and be able to see it
They receive the whole of it, bring all of it to pass
You’re making a way
The pastors, the pastors, eyes to see, eyes are open
The details, Father, that they would come to pass
That they not settle for the status quo
You’ve showed them what it will be
Ablaze, ablaze, ablaze…
Those to come along side
Unshakable, orders, orders, orders
Open up the eyes for the spirit of seeing
Coming up now
Sit in it, take your place
For the furtherance
There’s a momentum there—it’s momentum for a momentous step
It’s an increase, a bigger step and momentum to walk it out and to believe all the way through
