Ushering in the Glory of God
Through United Prayer
Believers can usher in the glory of God as they join together in united prayer and praise. In the Old Testament times, it says that the glory of the Lord filled the temple where people were gathered to pray.
2 CHRONICLES 5:6,7,11-14
6 Also king Solomon, and ALL THE CONGREGATION OF ISRAEL that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.
7 And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims ….
11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:
12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of J eduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)
13 It came even to pass, AS THE TRUMPETERS AND SINGERS WERE AS ONE, TO MAKE ONE SOUND TO BE HEARD IN PRAISING AND THANKING THE LORD; and WHEN THEY LIFTED UP THEIR VOICE with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: FOR THE GLORY OF THE LORD HAD FILLED THE HOUSE OF GOD.
2 CHRONICLES 7:1-3
1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and THE GLORY OF THE LORD FILLED THE HOUSE.
2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the Lord, because THE GLORY OF THE LORD HAD FILLED THE LORD’S HOUSE.
3 And when ALL THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, THEY BOWED THEMSELVES with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and WORSHIPPED, and PRAISED THE LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
Did you ever stop to think about when the glory of the Lord filled the temple? It was when all the people were praying and singing praises to God out loud in one accord. The glory cloud of the Lord filled the temple so that the priests were not even able to stand and minister. A white cloud came in and filled the temple. That’s what united prayer can do!
I have seen instances when people have prayed until it looked like the whole building was going to shake. I have seen some of the most amazing things happen in the realm of the Spirit when people lifted their voices to God in prayer in one accord—in united prayer.
Sometimes it seemed that the power of God would come in waves. In some of my services every single unsaved and backslidden person in the building responded to be saved. I didn’t have to beg or plead. They would come to the altar and pray and every one of them would be gloriously saved.
I remember one service in which everyone present who was sick was healed. I’ve ministered in a number of services in which every believer there received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. We don’t see that much today. But I have felt the Spirit of God pass through services just like a strong wind.

Father, thank You for Your glory and presence
We receive Your Word today
It is up to us to open our mouths to sing, worship, and pray, but You are doing the work through us
Lord, we magnify You today!
We plead the blood of Jesus over the atmosphere
Declaring no plan or purpose of the enemy can have its way
We have a protected hedge over us
Father, we take our place and position and look up unto You!
You have set us in this hour to fulfill Your destiny and walk in Your ways
We will continue to walk in victory with You!
A word of the Lord came forth:
“So enter into My standard of excellency,” saith the Lord. “Enter in and walk in the direction I have called you to! Enter in and move up, so that you can move out and move through in that victory that I have placed here for you today!”

Boldly moving forward and speaking forth!
The floodgates are opened wide!
Seeing miracles of every kind for all mankind!
Seeing revival on the way for this land!
You are opening up the way through the blood of the Lamb
The former and latter rains falling together!
Breaking down the walls of division
The rough places being made smooth and the low places being lifted up
Let Your glory fall!
We receive Your presence, glory, and change
Seeing things done and finished!
Some things will come as a great surprise
The deep waters of the Spirit rising!
Prosperity spirit, soul, and body
Lord, we love Your presence
Like Moses, we say today that without Your presence, we cannot go anywhere!
