Prayer Summary for September 14

Scripture Focus…

(2) “Grace to you and peace [inner calm and spiritual well-being] from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. (3) I thank my God in every remembrance of you, (4) always offering every prayer of mine with joy [and with specific requests] for all of you, (5) [thanking God] for your participation and partnership [both your comforting fellowship and gracious contributions] in [advancing] the good news [regarding salvation] from the first day [you heard it] until now. (6) I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].”
(Philippians 1:2–6 Amp.)

(6) “Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. (7) And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].”
(Philippians 4:6–7 Amp.)

(12) “Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints (God’s people) in the Light. (13) For He has rescued us and has drawn us to Himself from the dominion of darkness, and has transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, (14) in whom we have redemption [because of His sacrifice, resulting in] the forgiveness of our sins [and the cancellation of sins’ penalty].”
(Colossians 1:12–14 Amp.)

(12) “Epaphras, a servant of Christ who is one of you, saluteth you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.”
(Colossians 4:12 Amp.)

(5) “Having predestined us to be His own adopted children by Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will, (6) to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in His Beloved: (7) in Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace, (8) wherein He hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence. (9) He hath made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself, (10) that in the dispensation of the fullness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth, even in Him. (11) In Christ also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will, (12) that we, who first trusted in Christ, should be to the praise of His glory. (13) In Christ ye also trusted after ye heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation, in Whom also after ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, (14) which is the pledge of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory. (15) Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, (16) cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers. (17) I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, (18) the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, (19) and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, (20) which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, (21) far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. (22) And God hath put all things under His feet, and hath given Him to be the head over all things to the church, (23) which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all.”
(Ephesians 1:5–23 Amp.)

(17) “Be unceasing and persistent in prayer (23) Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [that is, separate you from profane and vulgar things, make you pure and whole and undamaged—consecrated to Him—set apart for His purpose]; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept complete and [be found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:17 & 23 Amp.)

(12) “In whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him [that is, our faith gives us sufficient courage to freely and openly approach God through Christ]. (14) For this reason [grasping the greatness of this plan by which Jews and Gentiles are joined together in Christ] I bow my knees [in reverence] before the Father [of our Lord Jesus Christ], (15) from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name [God—the first and ultimate Father]. (16) May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality], (17) so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, (18) be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; (19) and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]. (20) Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, (21) to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
(Ephesians 3:12, 14–21 Amp.)

(8) “For God is my witness, how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus [whose great love fills me]. (9) And this I pray, that your love may abound more and more [displaying itself in greater depth] in real knowledge and in practical insight, (10) so that you may learn to recognize and treasure what is excellent [identifying the best, and distinguishing moral differences], and that you may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ [actually living lives that lead others away from sin]; (11) filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God [so that His glory may be both revealed and recognized].”
(Philippians 1:8–11 Amp.)

(3) “We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, as we pray always for you (9) For this reason, since the day we heard about it, we have not stopped praying for you, asking [specifically] that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [with insight into His purposes], and in understanding [of spiritual things], (10) so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord [displaying admirable character, moral courage, and personal integrity], to [fully] please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing in the knowledge of God [with deeper faith, clearer insight and fervent love for His precepts]; (11) [we pray that you may be] strengthened and invigorated with all power, according to His glorious might, to attain every kind of endurance and patience with joy.”
(Colossians 1:3, 9–11 Amp.)

“Finally, brothers and sisters, pray continually for us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be honored [triumphantly celebrated and glorified], just as it was with you.”
(2 Thessalonians 3:1 Amp.)

Prayed…

Show us Your ways, Father
Reveal and open that up, Lord
Give us ears to hear so that we may follow that still small voice
Strengthen us, Lord, we want to know Your will and Your plan
Open up the eyes of the Church that we will see those things You have set before us
We want You to be seen and glorified, Father
Moving from one degree of glory to another
Progress all along the way, O God
By Your mercy and by Your grace, we will finish our race!
Accuracy of and by Your Spirit!
We call in the harvest of souls in these last days, Father
There must be a coming together now, day by day and moment by moment
You have a vision and a plan!
Supernatural aid and assistance of and by Your Spirit, Lord God
No, we will not remain the same, but we will continually change and move according to Your Word
Confirm Your Word and Your plans with signs following!
We put all of our hope and trust in You, Father

We will seize every moment and opportunity to glorify You, Lord
Every believer will go about doing the Father’s business
The Church will continually move and change to another degree of glory
Lifting up those transformations of the Church in these last days!
Praying over those transitions, that they would be right in time and right on time
Pleading the blood of Jesus over the great purpose and plan You have for us
Some things must be moved aside, there is provision in the place You have called us to
Calling for a greater collaboration of and by Your Spirit, dear God

We worship and praise You
