Prayer Summary for October 7, 2015

Pastor Lynne Hammond shared…

It’s been on my heart for weeks now concerning the word rescue. We read in Galatians chapter one verse four that Jesus gave Himself up in order to deliver us and that word deliver means rescue.
So we will read it that way “Who gave Himself up for our sins in order to rescue us from this present wicked age and world order in accordance with the will and the plan and the purposed of the Father.” Some translations call that rescue and everlasting release. Then of course in Colossians chapter one and verse thirteen the Bible says “Who hath delivered us and translated us out of the Tyranny of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son.” That word delivered here also means rescue.

Each one of us has a testimony that we have been rescued and redeemed out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of His dear Son. The Jordan translation states that “it was the Father that sprang us from the jailhouse of darkness and turned us loose into a whole new world of His Son.” Isn’t that beautiful? And turned us loose… He snatched us out of that place.

I then heard a testimony from one of our Discipleship Interns here at Living Word Christian Center. She is from France. I have never heard of a rescue operation like hers and it so ministered to me. She was born in Africa. Her mother died giving birth to her and in that nations when the mother dies in that way the child would either be killed or abandoned in some way because they were considered a curse. So when she was born an older lady was looking for food and found her in a trash heap. The older lady took her home as this new born baby. She was impoverished so she had a hard time feeding her. She would put her in this wash basin in the back yard and the children in the neighborhood until she was three fed her from the scraps from their tables. She didn’t know how to talk or walk she would just scream when she was hungry and the children would bring her food.

At the same time a couple in France had two boys and the mother, Florence, had been praying for years for a little girl. She knew that they were to adopt a little girl. She didn’t know who she was or where she was in the world but she started praying for this child. Florence’s brother was on a humanitarian relief mission in this African nation and was in that neighborhood when he heard the screams. He followed the screams which took him to the wash basin where the little girl was. He called Florence and said I think I have your little girl. How they got her out of Africa is a whole other story. But I’ve never heard of such a divine rescue. This family attends a church that is connected with us and the girl has grown up under the word of God with her two brothers and now has been translated here in our own Discipleship Intern program. Isn’t that amazing?

All of us have been rescued from some situation maybe not as horrific as this but we all have our own testimony. So in the light of thinking about this word rescue, I am a watcher and I watch what God tells me to watch and I watch the nation of Israel and the nations. That’s what it says in Luke 21 concerning the prophetic nations and one of those prophetic nations is Syria. I have been watching these refugees from Syria. Thirteen million people have been dislodged from their home situation that we know of because of the civil war in 2011. Many of those refuges are on foot leaving Syria. There are now 4.3 million that have left and are on their way to Europe to find help. The nations that have taken them, that are absorbing them are Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Turkey. Of course now there heading into Europe by crossing the Mediterranean and trying to get into Europe through Macedonia. Many of the nations are now saying they are not going to take them. I read yesterday that Germany is taking 1.5 million.

We have a pastor her at our church and he has over a hundred churches over in the Ukraine. He has an apostolic ministry and he is over there quite a bit. So I was asking him a couple Sundays ago if he knew of anything that was happening in Europe with these people. He said he has a pastor friend in Germany who has had 50 people for years in his church and as of last Sunday he now has six hundred and fifty. Isn’t that amazing?

I was just in a prayer conference in Fort Worth, TX doing what we are doing her with Periscope and also by other social media. We were able to reach in that prayer conference 80,000 people with 87 countries that were able to watch. By my sharing about what the Lord showed me concerning rescue and about the Syrian refugees some people from Dubai were viewing and they were so inspired by the prayers that went forth for these Syrian people that they decided they would go on mission trip. We got word last Sunday by text that they were leaving Beirut last Sunday morning. They were meeting 130 Syrian women at a retreat center to minister to them. Just as a result of the social media and our being able to reach them. They were so inspired by that and a door just opened.

I have particularly interested in Psalms 2:8 “Ask of Me and I will give you the nations as your inheritance and the uttermost earth as your possession.” So, I thought if God could rescue that little girl, If God could rescue each one of us maybe these Syrians are being saved out of Syria making a path to a place where they could hear Jesus and come out and be delivered.

So this is something that I have been on every day. This is such a strong assignment and many other assignments along with it. So today that is what I have on my heart to pray, along the lines of this rescue. Yesterday I heard there are refugee camps. One of them is Turkey and I believe they have 800,000 in this refugee camp set up. As far as you can see there are tents of these refugees that have left Syria on foot and are now in this camp. But over in Jordan 400,000 left a refugee camp because there was no food assistance. They said they “well, rather than die here at least we have our relatives back in Syria.” So they are headed back to Syria.

Just think of the children, victims… they were created as victims because they wouldn’t have picked this life for themselves. This is their lot. But in the end if we ask God for this nation… now this is what we see when we start to pray and there is a rescue operation… You can see it all the way through the word. Go back and read Acts 12. The people started to pray. What happened? They were rescued out of the prison. We see Queen Esther’s rescue operation where she rescued a whole nation of Jews. Think of Jonah in the Old Testament. He said in chapter three “and the Lord came and rescued, snatched me out of that place.” So all the way through the Word we see this. This is one of the characteristics and it familiarizes us with the Father in that He is a rescuer. Remember what the children of Israel did in Egypt. They were bound in Egypt. They began to cry out to the Lord and then what happened? The Red Sea opened for them to go to their promised land. And so I believe now God is on a rescue operation for these Syrian people. As we pray about this, we believe there are Paths being actually made for them that they can walk out on supernaturally. Because when we pray it gives God an entrance to work in our behalf on behalf of these people. Prayer is the most interesting thing you know. We can’t always touch people physically but by prayer we can touch the world. It’s so beautiful.

Pastor Ray leads prayer here every morning at 8:30 a.m. and he will start Periscoping as well. There are people around the world who have wanted to pray with us for years and this is affording them an opportunity and it’s such a blessing for people all over the world to be able to join us now. And it keeps me physically where I am not running around the world trying to raise up pray-ers. But God can do it just like this. We are going to sing and worship God first and then we have our assignment were we are going to go across the world to the Syrian refugees and pray that they would have and find a home in the Lord, Amen.

Scripture focus…

(10) Now after this the Lord chose and appointed seventy others and sent them out ahead of Him, two by two, into every town and place where He Himself was about to come (visit). (2) And He said to them, The harvest indeed is abundant [there is much ripe grain], but the farmhands are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Luke 10:1-2

For more pray-ers praying out those steps, praying out those openings
These are restoration days!
Every limit be removed
Angels, go get all the necessary resources for the laborer to go forth

Pastor Lynne shared…

The Word of the Lord just came to me and He said how He has reserved for the hour anointings, for this time. That there were anointings that had resided in people and they were like time released and it was time for those anointings to move. And so many, many, many of those time released anointings… and the Lord would say Go! Go! Go! Now! Now! Now! We believe Father that they hear the call. We believe that every apostolic person, every evangelist hears that call now, Father, and all the equipment that is on an evangelist, healing and miracles and a way to speak and in places where they are needing interpreters, we ask You, Father, to raise up interpreters and you give them expression of the Spirit and exact understanding to the people. We pray that they would hear, believe and then they would receive and then from that day, Father, they would start to walk out of this dark path there over onto a new path of light and restoration, restitution as part of the end time move of God – the Spirit of restoration to the down trodden.

Continued praying…

Thank You, Father, for all the plans being realized in Jesus’ name

Father, get glory to Yourself in the refugee camps

For the healing anointing that is upon them
