Prayer Summary for Friday, March 06, 2015

Pastor Ray shared…

Yesterday I got several messages after prayer. While we were praying, I felt in my heart we were to pray about New York City and so we did that. We prayed about that for a while and we declared some things. One of the things that we declared was LaGuardia airport and JFK. But that was after we had prayed for New York city for quite a while. Then, of course, you know what happened yesterday about the plane that went off the runway at LaGuardia. It was less than an hour after we were finished praying. Somebody sent me an email link to see the plane on the embankment and on the other side was water. Yikes! No one was killed and there were just minor injuries. They said they were very “lucky.” I was like, “Wait a second!” I’m thankful to God. When Erika got up to share yesterday, the first thing she said was “Thank God for the Holy Ghost.” We talked yesterday about being led by the Holy Ghost.

This morning I had this in my heart from 2nd Kings 6:15 “When the servant of the man of God rose early and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, Alas, my master! What shall we do?” Good question. Elisha answers in verse 16, “Fear not…” number one, “for those with us are more than those with them.” What he did then was to pray, “Lord, I pray you open his eyes that he may see, and the Lord opened the young man’s eyes and he saw and behold the mountain was full or horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” So did he open his natural eyes? No. He just said he went out and what did he see? Horses and chariots all around the mountain. So you can imagine his eyes were probably bigger than normal anyway, but it was the eyes of his heart. Now let’s go to the New Testament in 2nd Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or believe respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things.” That’s amplified maybe a little too much. But “with trust and holy fervor we walk not by sight or appearance but we walk by faith.” To me the New Testament Church should be able to see with the eyes of our hearts. That should be normal. There are different ways of seeing, for sure. We can have an open vision. I’ve had more than one open vision but the biggest one to me was years ago when I was in a church and I was walking up for prayer and I saw a huge cross over the stage but there really wasn’t one. Yet, I saw one. When I saw it not just with the eyes of my heart, I saw it in an open vision, it changed things forever. It should change us. If we say we’re moving and flowing in the Holy Ghost, we should be able to see in our hearts some things about where we’re going in prayer. We should expect that. And each one of us individually, can see other parts and things while we’re praying corporately. But if we’re truly praying in the Holy Ghost, we’ll cover a lot of things that we don’t know about, right? Maybe we did cover that other plane in California. There is no limit or boundary in prayer. We’re free in Him and there is no distance in the spirit or no boundaries that can hold us back. By faith, we can pray for the things that He wants, needs, must be prayed today.

After worship, Pastor Ray shared…

If you need healing in your body and would like to be anointed with oil, you can come forward for prayer. Brother Dave, I would like you to anoint these people with oil and share with them.

Dave shared…

I was just thanking the Lord for salvation. Salvation comes in many forms, one is healing, provision. When those people landed and hit the runway, they were saved by God’s grace. They weren’t saved because they were prayed up because prior to that, they didn’t know they were going to have that problem. A lot of times in life, that’s the way things happen. You don’t plan on things happening, you don’t plan on being sick, but God who is rich in mercy and love… those people were saved because God loved them. Yesterday, prayer went forth and that was the love of God that compelled the hearts of the believers to pray for those souls that were on that plane. It was His love that saved them. His love provided for them. I said that to say this. Healing is like that. Salvation comes… you don’t have to do anything. The Bible says that He bore our sicknesses and He carried our diseases, right? And by His stripes, we are healed. The chastisement of my peace was upon Him. Basically, all that was needed for your healing was paid for when Jesus died on the cross. He saw your plane crash. He saw your sickness and He laid it on the cross and forever dealt with it. The Father asked Him to take the place for these people. Yesterday, when He called on those here in prayer, His mercy was calling for that. His love was calling for their salvation. And when Brother Ray said the Lord spoke to him about healing, that’s what He’s doing right now. So right now, healing is present. Just imagine yourself in that airplane and God’s hand just stops that plane from going off into the water. Can you imagine for a moment’s time that you come over here and His healing touch is stopping that sickness in its tracks and it’s destroyed the yoke of sickness in your body, destroying that bondage in your body so that it no longer can wreak havoc in your body anymore. That’s what this is about. I’ve seen this happen many times in my travels abroad, where it would just blow your mind just how much God loves these people. I’ve seen people who weren’t even saved get healed. So it has nothing to do with you being saved. Think of those people that were saved yesterday in that airplane. I can guarantee you there were people that were not born again. Yet, God loved them to save them from death. Well if God can save a sinner from death and destruction, how much more can He save you from death and destruction? He doesn’t do it because you’re prayed up. He just does it because, guess what, He loves you. “My arms are around you.” So when I lay hands on you today, you just imagine that hand being the Lord’s hand upon you and giving you what is necessary to cause a quick and prompt recovery in your body. Close your eyes, lift your hands to heaven and receive.

(praying for those in line)
