Prayer Summary for Friday, June 16, 2017

Pastor Ray opened with prayer and then shared…

I’m going to go through a few scriptures. It’s good to “eat” the Word.

Psalm 103, “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits— 3 Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; 5 Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!

Psalm 104, “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great! You are clothed with honor and majesty—2 [You are the One] Who covers Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain or a tent, 3 Who lays the beams of the upper room of His abode in the waters [above the firmament], Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind….”

Psalm 105, “O give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known His doings among the peoples! 2 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His marvelous deeds and devoutly praise them. 3 Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek and require the Lord [as their indispensable necessity]. 4 Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength (His might and inflexibility to temptation); seek and require His face and His presence [continually] evermore.”

It’s a command for us to seek His presence, to be hungry for Him, for more of His presence.

Psalm 106, “Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!”

Psalm 107, “O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!”

Now I want to read three short scriptures. I have some older mini-books by Don Gossett who has since gone home to be with the Lord. One of his mini-books is “What You Can Say.”

The first is phrase is, we are who God says we are. We’re new creatures. If any man be in Christ he is a new creature. Old things are passed away, behold all things are become new. 2nd Corinthians 5:17. Colossians 1:13, We’re delivered from the power of darkness. This is who God says we are. We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. Romans 8:37. We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. Romans 8:17. Ephesians 1:3. We are blessed with all spiritual blessings.

Then the second phrase is “We have what God says we have.” So we are who He says we are. And we have what He says we have. We have life. He that hath the son has life. He hath not the son of God hath not life. 1st John 5:12. John 8:12. We have light. He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life. We have liberty where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Freedom. 2nd Corinthians 3:17. We have love. The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts. Romans 5:5. We have joy. Your joy no man taketh from you. John 16:22. John 1:7. We have pardon. The blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanseth us from all sin. We have peace. We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1. We have purpose. For me to live is Christ. Phil. 1:21. We have power. Ye shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you. Acts 1:8. We have provision. My God shall supply all your need. Phil. 4:19. We have prospect. In my Father’s house are many mansions. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2.

The third one is, “we can do what God says we can do.” Phil. 4:13. We can do all things through Christ. We can cast out demons. We can minister healing to the sick. Mark 16:17–18. We can share with the world what we have in Christ. Affirm these words. The way He’d usually say it is affirm it or declare it. Say this after me: I am who God says I am. I have what God says I have. I can do what God says I can do.

You know how Pastor Mac has shared that the Lord ministered to him to start other churches with his son Pastor Jim and Jamie his grandson. One of the places where Jamie feels directed to go is the North Loop in Minneapolis. Pastor Jim is going to go toward Bloomington in the south of the cities. It’s important to cover these things with prayer out front so the right place is decided on and opens and people called to be part of these ministries would be directed by the Spirit. Just think of the things that go with that. Finances. Musicians. Pray-ers. People.

Prayer…

Father, in Jesus’ name, we bring this before heaven. We pray for both Pastor Jim and Jamie. We pray for direction would be in their hearts and they’d know exactly where to go. We prepare out ahead for the right locations and timing. We plead the blood of Jesus for these destinations.

Group prayed in the Spirit…

We hold these locations up before You
Every detail about them
The finances… we loose ministering spirits to go out ahead
We lift up the resources necessary
We lift up increase…
Open up those ways… alignment… lining things up
Each location… making a way… clearing out a way…
We go around the cities and pray over the areas…north, east, south, and west
These outreaches will land in the right place
Every need will be met… we cover every part in preparation for these destinations
Keys, keys, keys… we hold up the keys to the doors, the opening
We pray over the beginnings
There is a way… we prepare the way… move things out of the way… clear the path
Leaning not on our own thoughts but trusting in Your plans
By faith, we walk it out and take it by faith
Increase will come… furtherance… lining up the steps
More than able to do it… we can and we will
Staying steady with it…
We pray over the decisions… right decisions
You lead us, Lord
New territories… thank You for provision for every element
No weapon formed against it will prosper
Every limit, be removed… we’ll not go the wrong way to the wrong place… we are led by the Spirit
Right location… like a GPS… opening up those steps
Signs and wonders shall direct, lead
Bells will ring… dinner bell will bring them in

And let there be a passion… a passion that burns… on the inside… let there be a passion for those pastors, Father… Your passion that burns and consumes them… in the name of Jesus, that that passion drives the compassion for the lost and the compassion for the cities… let Your light and Your life shine and flow by Your Spirit through those ministers… let Your light go forth [recording blip]

Word came forth about light houses…[the first part was not recorded]

…mighty God and by My power and through your prayers, believing prayers. Your prayers are right now erecting and building these light houses for My honor and My glory. The world says seeing is believing but I say believing is seeing. You continue to pray and believe and you continue to lay that foundation in the realm of My Spirit, for the moment you begin to pray, saith the Lord, My hands have begun to build… build light houses for My glory. As you pray, I am erecting and building and I am the cornerstone of these houses. I am the cornerstone of the messages that go forth in these places. I am the cornerstone of the faith of the finances and of every need. I am the cornerstone of the harvest of these places, saith the Lord. So I call you to believe. I call you to pray. I call you to stand on My Word and lay the foundation in the realm of the spirit. And you shall see those things of the spirit manifest in the natural in a great and mighty way. And so shall My light houses shine with the brightness of My glory in these places. As you pray and believe, so shall you see signs and wonders and miracles. But it’s not by erecting by the hands of man, but My power and My Spirit, says the Lord your God almighty.

Pastor Ray interjected…

We see it and grab hold of that by faith. I wanted to remind you of something. Years ago, Pastor Mac and Lynne were looking at having an outreach in downtown Minneapolis on Hennepin Avenue in the Orpheum Theatre. It was a move toward doing that. Bob Dylan owned the Orpheum. His brother met with Pastor Mac. We had a plan to open a bookstore on Hennepin Avenue. Sandy wanted to do that. This was 20 years ago. Maybe that time, the time wasn’t right. That time the city decided they weren’t open to another Jesus People church. So they upped their bid and bought the Orpheum. Over all these 20, 25, 30 years, the penetration of the evangelists all over the cities has prepared a way for these outreaches to begin to take place. It’s not by happenstance that the evangelists being led by Pastor Nick, and Pastor Folu, and all those that go out on the streets. They have penetrated so many parts of the cities already. And thousands have been born again because of these outreaches. Some things have already been prepared for these things that are about to come about. As we pray, these things are being built up spiritually. It’s part of the preparation for it to be manifested in the natural. Sometimes we can turn it around and get out to do something before then maybe we’ll start to pray. But we’re praying, building it before the natural buildings take place. Maybe someone has to move out before we move in.

Continued praying…

Angels, angels, angels… Gabriel… angels, angels… make a way… walking, walking, walking… angels… change, change, change… change is coming, change is on the way… by the blood of Jesus, the way has been made… the anointing… change… change… change… more and more and more… ha, ha, ha… it’s not just on the horizon, it is overcoming and it has overtaken the body… opportunities are coming… it’s the culmination of the vision… everything that can shake is gonna shake… it’s going to shake loose… in a good way… glory!… shine, shine, shine… it’s a turning… it’s turning… in the name of Jesus… doors open… the doors are open… angels… change…

Pastor Ray…

For several months, downtown Minneapolis at the Walker Art Center have been redoing the sculpture garden where the big spoon is. An artist built a replica of a wooden scaffolding used to hang native Americans way back in the 1800s. Why would you even think about doing that? Number two, why would they allow it? The Native Americans did not stand for it. They held their ground and picketed. Guess what? That thing is being dismantled. It will be moved to where this particular tribe used to be and they’re going to burn it there. What does that have to do with anything? When Minneapolis makes decisions that go against the plan of God for the city, in the realm of the spirit, I believe we can take a stand and say, “no.”

I’m reminded when we were at the stadium for Pulse prayer. At one point, everyone turned to the city and begin to pray over the city. We’re calling things that are not as though they were. Where the Devil has planned, we believe our city is moving more God’s way. The Word has been declared and prophesied over this area that the glory of God would be poured out up here and it would move down south. Can you see it? We can never back off those things that were declared over our cities. They will come to pass.

I know of a pastor that has driven around the cities 100s of times. He keeps circling the cities by faith and he declares over the cities while he’s driving. To me, it helps sometimes to go into the city if you’re going to pray for the city. Years ago, we had a place of prayer on Hennepin Avenue. Sandy and I would go there every Tuesday at 10 in the morning. We’d meet down there with Pastor Lynne, Jerre Sibinski and others. We’d pray in that building looking out the windows at the people going by while we’re praying for the city. I still remember having this vision. I remember seeing Dayton’s swinging doors and I’d get out in front of them and I’d stop the people that were on their way to hell. By faith, praying for the lost downtown.

Prayer for nation…
