I’m no longer a slave to fear… For I am a child of God… You split the sea so I could walk right through it… My fears are drowned in perfect love… You rescued me so I could stand and sing… I am a child of God… I’m no longer a slave to sin… I am a child of God… Thank You, Jesus… I trust in You… ♪

Pastor Ray prayed and shared…

We do trust in You, Lord. Thank You for Your presence in our lives and the power of Your Holy Spirit. The anointing that is resident inside each one of us, it’s not leaving. You’re not taking it away. We are anointed as Your children.

Jerre, you shared yesterday how you got stirred up inside. Explain what that did inside you.

Jerre shared…

I got stirred up about the whole world situation. It was a righteous indignation that came upon me. It did something on the inside of me. When we came to prayer, it created a thrust or power in me. I didn’t know what to sing and then I sat down and there was a song in front of me and I just sang that song. It was a power song. I think we need to just get fed up with what Satan is doing and get to the point where it comes out as a fervency in prayer. You can’t work it up, but if you look at the situation and what Satan has gotten away with—enough is enough. That righteous indignation will rise up and it will cause you to pray with a fervency.

I remember coming to prayer one time and the Lord was ministering to me that we are in a war. And we are. We’re in a war. Do we win the battle? Yes. But our responsibility now is to take hold of the promises of God and stand upon them and push back the darkness and say, “Enough is enough. This far and no more.” Out of that righteous indignation, that anger, came prayers and utterances that I don’t think would have ever come out had not that fervent indignation risen up. We prayed so many different things yesterday—for those in authority and that the gifts might come forth.

Last Friday, we prayed that we would know in advance the plots of the enemy and that they would be uncovered and that the prophets would rise up. I don’t think without that fervent tenacity it would have come forth. I know there are many sides of the mountain of God, like brother Hagin would say, “There are many sides up that mountain.” There are times to worship and there are times to be refreshed. But there is a side of the mountain that we have to grab hold of. I know we prayed for the law makers and the righteous voices to come forth and then a wall to come down, a wall of separation in our nation. Dennis Prager said we’re in a civil war. This wall that came up… it was like a seeing and knowing… and it was like we got to get that wall down and let the righteousness spill over. But it all started with getting so mad at unrighteous, untruthful decisions that some words came out of my mouth: if we don’t make righteous decisions, then their blood is on our hands. I don’t want that blood on our nation’s hands.

Yesterday, this is what stirred me up. The New York Daily News headline “God isn’t fixing this.” I know He’s already fixed it on the cross through His Son by the blood. Brother Hagin said God told him that the 60s rebellion wouldn’t have happened if the Church had done its part and prayed for the nation. We can’t just fall back and watch it. We have to stay on the attack.

When Jesus comes again, it says He will come as a warrior. I don’t want to be like one of the Jews that missed Him coming as the Lamb. When He comes again, He’ll come as a warrior and He’ll rule with a rod of iron. That’s a strong Savior. And it says He’ll rebuke many nations. So if we want to be like Him, we have to have both sides, so to speak, of the truth. I think it’s the two-edged sword.

Pastor Ray…

I marked out a few paragraphs from brother Hagin in his book about authority called The Believer’s Authority. That’s the first thing I thought of was that we have the authority. Maybe we’re not using it. In the last part of this chapter, the subtitle says, “Authority Now.” He said “It’s now, when there is something that will hurt and destroy, that we have authority. But many people believe we can’t have much of anything now. They think Satan’s running everything down here. We must remember, however, that although we are in the world, we are not of the world. Satan’s running a lot of what is here on earth, but he’s not running me.”

He might be running a lot and really, just look at the news. The Devil is going berserk. But I believe the Church is rising up. He continued to say:

“He’s not running the Church. He’s not dominating us. We can dominate him. We have authority over him.” I thought it was interesting when he said, “We can dominate him.” We don’t dominate him by doing nothing. We have the authority over him. Then he used Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy: and nothing [nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing] shall by any means hurt you.” He goes on to say:

“Does the Church in this century have less authority than it did right after Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection, ascension, and seating at the Father’s right hand? If it has less authority today, it would have been better for Jesus not to have died. But no, bless God, we have authority. Jesus used Matthew 28:18, ‘…ALL POWER is given unto ME in heaven and in earth.’ All the authority that can be exercised upon the earth has to be exercised through the Church, because Christ is not here in person—in His physical body. We are the body of Christ. Even though we have prayed, ‘Now, Lord, You do this and that,’ leaving everything up to Him, He has conferred His authority on the earth to His body, the Church. Thus, many problems exist because we permit them to—we’re not doing anything about them. We’re the ones who are supposed to do something about them, but we’re trying to get someone else, including God, to do something about them.”

Then under the subtitle “How to Deal With the Devil” he writes, “As long as Satan can keep you in unbelief or hold you in the arena of reason, he’ll whip you in every battle. But if you’ll hold him in the arena of faith and the Spirit, you’ll whip him every time. He won’t argue with you about the Name of Jesus—he’s afraid of the name. I have found that the most effective way to pray can be when you demand your rights. That’s the way I pray: ‘I demand my rights.’ Peter at the Gate Beautiful did not pray for the lame man; he demanded that he be healed (Acts 3:6). You’re not demanding of God when you demand your rights; you’re demanding of the devil. Jesus made this statement in John 14: ‘And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do … If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. (vv. 13–14). He’s not talking about prayer. The Greek word here is ‘demand’ not ‘ask.’

“On the other hand, John 16:23–24 is talking about prayer: ‘And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.’ (The Father is mentioned here in connection with prayer, but He isn’t mentioned in the passage from John 14.) The Greek actually reads ‘Whatever you demand as your rights and privileges …’ You’ve got to learn what your rights are.”

Then I want to read one other small portion. The subtitle is “Faith’s Role in Authority.” “Faith is involved in exercising spiritual authority. Yes, there are times when evil spirits come out immediately, but if they don’t when you speak the word of faith, don’t get disturbed about it.

“I base my faith on what the Word says. Some people’s faith is not based on the Bible, however, it’s based on a manifestation. They operate outside faith in the sense realm. If they get certain manifestations, they think the devil’s gone. But he isn’t gone just because you get a manifestation. He’s still there, and you need to know that and exercise your authority. When circumstances don’t change immediately, some people become discouraged and skip back into the natural. They start talking unbelief and they defeat themselves. They give the devil dominion over them.

“As Smith Wigglesworth often said, ‘I’m not moved by what I see. I’m not moved by what I feel. I’m moved only what I believe.’ So stand your ground.”

I like that. We’re not moved by what we see. We’re not moved by what we feel. We’re moved only by what we believe. So we have a command right here to stand our ground. I believe that’s a command for the Church today—to rise up, take its place, and stay steadfast. We are to be strong in the Word and full of the power of the Holy Spirit.

Prayed …

Cooperating with the Master’s way
Illuminate, reveal, uncover, open
We watch and esteem the Word
Blood line
The watch, steady in the watch
Eyes to see it
You’re bound and you will not operate
Obey… back away
We turn the tables today
Your plans will not prosper
We pull them down now
We take that wrecking ball of the Holy Spirit and we knock down that plan in Jesus’ name
Not to raised again in Jesus’ name
Pastors, rise up and take your place of authority
We will not be silenced
We stand with the body of Christ and we will not be stopped
We come against fear in the name of Jesus
That fear will come off of the body of Christ
Standing on the Rock, a sure foundation
Now is the time and we are the people to rise up
This time, this nation, all throughout the earth
The culmination of all those things coming together, every part for a great and mighty demonstration of Your Spirit
You will show Yourself and display Yourself in the earth and everyone will see that there is a God
He will be lifted up and exalted in the earth
So many things coming together right now, so many elements coming together
He’s orchestrating things all over the nation and the earth and they’re coming together
He’s got everything in order and we’re watching over those things right now
Not one of those things will be delayed… order, order in the name of Jesus complete and total order
We will not back down but we stand…
We dig our heels in the ground and we say that, that line will not move
In fact, we’re moving that line in the other direction
You’re going down
