Prayer Summary for February 18

Pastor Ray shared…

When we were praying yesterday for Israel and Nigeria, I had the sense that when we spend time in prayer doing what we know to do, watching, waiting and yielding to His presence, then in return we are increased in every way. One of the ways we are increased is in supernatural health. All the things that we don’t know about, when we pray in tongues …in the middle of that I had the sense that we were strengthened in and through Him. Some things wouldn’t matter, different ages, different time, different situations in life—if we would just do what we were told, we are strengthened. So we have been told to watch and wait—rest in the Lord and there are times of rest. Rest can be in the middle of absolute Holy Ghost prayer. There is rest in it and there is strength in it.

Watching what the Word says and not altering it to say something else. But watching, waiting, believing, standing, praying, declaring what the Father said and what the Word says. James 1:22 says to be doers of the Word. We need to obey what we have seen and obey what we have heard—not just listeners so that we are not betrayed into deception by reasoning contrary to the truth.

(22)But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]. (23)For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural face in a mirror; For he thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like. (24) For he thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like. (25) But he who looks carefully into the faultless law, the [law] of liberty, and is faithful to it and perseveres in looking into it, being not a heedless listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he shall be blessed in his doing (his life of obedience). James 1:22–25 (Amp.)

I was talking to someone who mentioned this other pastor who decided to do some different things. He started to welcome other beliefs and put them into membership and hiring people with total, absolute other belief systems. I thought, wait a second, when did the Word change? Did the Word change? No! Is what was said here in this Word still true today? Yes! Father, I know You are helping us. Thank You for helping us. So, we yield our hearts to You.

Prayed…

Father, we ask you to reveal where our thoughts have not lined up to Your way
We know there will be some falling away in the last days—thank You for helping us to stay true to Your plan
Seeing the lost saved in Jesus’ name
Staying steady in Your Word and not getting into a ditch
Father, we watch and pray Your Word to us
Not trusting our understanding but leaning on Your Word
Liberty and freedom is in You
There is so much at stake – staying on the Highway!
Staying dedicated and delivered – in the way of liberty
We believe to stay on the road
Rousting out obstacles that need to be removed in Jesus’ name
Watching over those things that have to be cleared out because the Church is coming through
We are carefree in You, Father
We are not going to move – You have put us in our places and we are firmly planted
We shall not be moved!
Standing up in our calling – now is the time to be speaking spirits!
Our words are everything now – the earth cries out for the manifestation of the sons of God
In every nation there is a rising of the sons of God – calling out and crying out for the manifestation of God!
We are a city set on a hill and we will not be silenced!
Walking right in the footsteps of Jesus and we will continue
Not forsaking our place of prayer – we see and know and live there
We speak encouragement to the body of Christ all over the earth
Thank You, Father, that You are moving in dark places – pouring out Your Spirit on all people

Brother Copeland declared a couple meetings ago that like the great healing movement of the past century there will be another great healing movement across this nation. This next revival will begin through the healing. We declare the healing of all the parts of the bodies—hearts, lungs, eyes, legs, ears, all the body parts!

Continued Praying…

Be magnified and glorify, Lord
We honor Your Holy Spirit
So grateful for the blood that was shed on the cross
Healing, wholeness, and restoration—we say “Yes Lord!”
