I’m thoroughly convinced—although you can neither prove or disprove it by the Bible—that we as the body of Christ as a whole have the same measure of the Holy Spirit that Jesus did but we as individual member of the body of Christ do not.
The greatest anointing of all is the corporate anointing.
Scripture focus…
First let’s look at some scriptures in the Old Testament (types and shadows):
11 And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without keeping to their divisions), 12 and the Levites who were the singers, all those of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, stood at the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals, stringed instruments and harps, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets— 13 indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever, that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, 14 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God. II Chronicles 5:11–14 (NKJV)
When the Temple was dedicated, the building was filled with a literal cloud! The cloud was the Glory of God.

His presence, there is always more for us to open ourselves to, there is always greater. I believe this so much that it’s pretty much the only way I ever thought about it that the power or the presence or the anointing is so much greater when we are gathered together as company, as a group of believers. I know that is one of the reasons why it’s so important to… well there are people who will, you know, “I don’t need to go to Church. I just watch church.” Or they don’t even watch it. They just go on the Internet. That’s their church. I don’t mean watching services. I mean on the Internet. You know going over things that support what they believe. But there is not a… the anointing that we receive when we gather together I mean ahhh… To the church, get in church. We say to the body “Get in with the other members of the body.” And then there is a balance.
I am reminded in Sandy and my previous life when we were not working here we had a business and one of the main things we made and sold were mobiles, not baby mobiles but big ones. Well when you do that everything has to be in perfect balance. You can’t take one part, one piece out of that balanced art piece and have it be balanced. It goes wacko and things bump into other things and it will not work. Everything, all of the members, all of the parts in their place… Lord, we want that so much for the body to be where they need to be. I want to be where I need to be. I know you want that too. We want that, Lord. We want to step where we are supposed to step, say what we were predestined to say, and I believe in those ways we will remove limits that have been placed upon ourselves by ourselves.
How does a body work if part of the body is out of joint? It doesn’t work. How does a prayer group work if the members just came out of a place of strife? It does not work. There is no anointing. There is no way. So we are just going over this, the bigness, the greatness of this plan that He, the Father, set it up so we would join ourselves together. There are many different ways that we are to do that, how the flow might be but just so it’s Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit given, Holy Spirit directed.
The following prophecy was given by Kenneth E. Hagin taken from Understanding the Anointing:
We’re moving up now into the things of God!
And I heard the Spirit say, there will come further revelation along these lines, but it has to come line upon line, precept upon precept and as it comes, men and women will flow with the Spirit, and there will be such a manifestation of My power and My glory and My Spirit and My anointing in these days—in this decade in which you live that it will startle men.
Now many who are on the fringes of the move of God will draw back might say, “Ahhh, that’s fanaticism. No, we can’t go with that. We believe in doing things in a nice, sedate manner.” Never, never, never feel resentment toward others who may criticize you, or who may speak against you. Never allow the least bit of resentment or ill will, or bad feelings, but walk on. Walk on in love. Walk on in power. Walk on in the Spirit. Walk on, with the Lord, and He’ll come unto thee and manifest Himself unto thee. And it is even written in the Holy Scriptures that His coming unto us shall be as the rain. And so the Holy Ghost will fall, and the power of God will be in manifestation, and great shall be the reward thereof and many shall be blessed, and great and good days stand just ahead. Walk on. Yea, ye shall see, for the glory of the Lord shall appear unto thee. But most will move with the Spirit, and all will acknowledge, “There are miracles happening over there. I guess God just saw fit to have mercy on them.” But no, they saw fit to flow with God. And they saw fit to go with God, for He is at work in the earth tonight and He indwells His Body which is the Church, which is the house of God. And His glory will fill that temple.
Many will say, “I just don’tf go along with those things. We have a pretty good church here. God has put His approval upon us.” But yea, saith the Lord of Hosts, I only put my approval upon that which lines up with My Word. Get into My Word and let the Spirit open the Word to you. Not only unto your mind, but get the revelation of it in your spirit. And your spirit will be more alive unto the things of God and He—through your spirit—will be able to teach you, and admonish you, and direct you.

Father, we lift up the holy victorious way
Thank You for showing us the steps to take
Some sudden and some step upon step
Praying over the whole body
Declaring she will not be deceived!
Protection for the body, the blood
Dunamis power over the body
Moving it out—functioning the way it should function
The joy of the Lord is our strength
Empower with might
Stepping out and stepping up
Illumination, greater revelation about the assignments
We watch, we watch
Assignments about how to attain and walk it out
Healing is in it!
I just heard this “We don’t have to shop for healing – it’s already been provided”
It’s permanently done—it’s finished
I just heard “Boston”
Divine supernatural move over that city
Protection through the blood—an open heaven
Churches, ministries, pastors, never ever to be the same again
Lands, territories
Open eyes to see
Praying over our sanctuary, declaring Your anointing over every seat
Declaring supernatural developments, unity
No boundaries!
Father, we are hungry and thirsty for Your presence in our sanctuary
Holy Spirit, You are welcome in the meetings this week with Creflo Dollar
Stirring ourselves up into a place of greater expectation
We ask that You would grant great utterance through Creflo
