Morning Prayer Summary for Thursday, February 18, 2021

Pastor Ray…

Good morning. I wanted to change it up this morning a bit, because it seems like we always worship first. We will worship the Lord and honor Him for sure. I had this to go over. We know the main scripture on faith is Hebrews 11:1. I was just thinking about this morning about faith, and especially in our prayers, but in everything that we do that’s spiritually related and more than that too. But everything is by faith. You know, if we lay hands on someone and we declare the Word, we anoint them, pray over them, it’s by faith. When we asked the Lord, we request and require as a necessity the manifestation of His presence, it’s by faith. When we worship Him, it’s in faith. We use faith for it all. So I thought I’d just go over a couple… I found this old hymn on faith, but just a couple of scriptures Passion translation. Hebrews 11:1 says it like this. “Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.”

We could think about that. Faith is the foundation and that’s what’s needed to acquire the things that we desire and long for. And it’s also all the evidence that we need that those things that are unseen will still come to pass. So the way the way the Amplified says it in verse one, “Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”

Can’t see it… can’t feel it. You know, those kinds of things. Haven’t seen the manifestation yet, but by faith. Amen? So verse two says, “For by [faith—trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report.” Verse three, “By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.”

So by faith. So we could go down that hall of faith in Hebrews 11, all these different people, men, women of God, by faith. So it’s absolutely for sure the same today. So, I found this old hymn. It’s from 1891. That’s old. I love it. It’s called “Faith Is the Victory.” So here’s how it goes. It’s old English.

“Encamped along the hills of light,
Ye Christian soldiers rise,
And press the battle ere the night
Shall veil the glowing skies;
Against the foe in vales below
Let all our strength be hurled;
Faith is the victory, we know,
That overcomes the world.
Faith is the victory!
Faith is the victory!
O glorious victory,
That overcomes the world.

“His banner over us is love,
Our sword the Word of God;
We tread the road the saints before
With shouts of triumph trod.
By faith, they like a whirlwind’s breath,
Swept on o’er every field;
The faith by which they conquered death
Is still our shining shield.

“On every hand the foe we find
Drawn up in dread array;
Let tents of ease be left behind,
And onward to the fray.
Salvation’s helmet on each head,
With truth all girt about,
The earth shall tremble ’neath our tread,
And echo with our shout.

“To him that overcomes the foe,
White raiment shall be giv’n;
Before the angels he shall know
His name confessed in heav’n;
Then onward from the hills of light,
Our hearts with love aflame,
We’ll vanquish all the hosts of night,
In Jesus’ conqu’ring name.”

That’s every fall, that’s every negative situation, that’s every attack. Whatever the enemy is trying to pursue, faith is the victory. I love that. Victory by faith in Him. Victory in Jesus. Victory through Him. Victory through the blood. And, of course, we know that that scripture, they overcame because of the blood. They testified about it. We do here today. We overcome by the blood and the words of our testimony. Thank you, Lord. For the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever.

You are good. Your mercy endures forever.

Pastor Ray…

So by faith, we declare this nation one nation undivided. We speak it. We believe it. We believe in it. This nation was founded for freedom. We declared the United States of America is one nation under God. And we speak Jesus and say, Jesus is Lord over America. We pray over the body of Christ and we pray absolute unity in the body. Not disunity, but unity in the body of Christ all over America, church by church by church. Standing in one accord, declaring what the Word has said to be true. And in faith, standing strong, speaking forth, and declaring those things that still are not as though they are. (tongues) We’ll just speak America. Move in the right direction. Move in God’s right perfect will and way. In the name of Jesus, we put a stop to all devil activity in America. We pray over the borders across the northern part of the United States – east, south, and west. We pray over the borders. We plead the blood of Jesus over this nation. Let there be a rising up. Let there be… In the name of Jesus, thank you for the peace that passes all understanding. We declare peace, your peace over America. Every lie we declare it shall be exposed, revealed, uncovered, and shut down… great, great demonstrations of your will and plan, Lord. Thank you. Words of life, words of help. Words of strength. A turn… turning, turning, turning, turning, and a changing… from city to city to city… in the name of Jesus, we declare peace that passes all understanding. In the name of Jesus, protection by the precious holy blood. Thank you, Father. A showing and a revealing and an uncovering and things opened that had not been opened before…Oh my…  So we can say it in faith, the best, the best, the best, the best, the best is yet to come… better days unfolding… better ways… better plans. That move of your Spirit from state to state to state… We watch… we get up on that…. on the wall. We stand… we’re alert and we see things that other people do not see. We hear things that other people do not hear. We’re led by your Spirit, Father. Stop in your maneuvers against the Church in Jesus name. We resist you, enemy of the church, we resist you. We hold the blood of Jesus against you. We declare the name of Jesus that is above every other name and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord…

Why don’t you go ahead, Peggy, and sing out in other tongues for a little bit.

Pastor Ray…

I saw a sweeping away when you were singing. Some plans of the enemy that seem to be so big, so looming. Suddenly, being swept away, moved out, never to return. But on the other hand, the power and the Spirit of the living God was blowing in new days and better ways. And there was a protection that came with that wind. And that protection is in that name that we’ve been lifting up this morning. Jesus! Protected in the name of Jesus that we might go forth and prepare and declare and watch and speak. And call those things that we’ve still not seen or we’ve not moved with our feet, but to call forth those steps according to what the Word has said and the power of the Holy Spirit who has revealed these ways in these days. So out with those things and in with the power of the Holy Spirit, where the wind keeps blowing in the new… So for America, we can take it individually, but for America, this great nation, blowing some things away and blowing in the new for you. We received that word years ago from Sister Billye: “One thing will change America and that is an awakening.” Where the Church first gets up and wakes up. Hallelujah! Where the Church becomes single minded to the perfect will of God…

Peg shared…

Oh, Pastor Ray, can I share this? I just saw like someone at the beginning of America. I saw them fighting with their own blood for freedom to be in America. And I just saw them holding the flag sideways, but they were just like running for freedom. And God still wants that for us. He still wants us to live in a land of freedom because it was paid for with the blood of people.

Peg continued to lead worship…
Pastor Ray…

The blood is working. The blood is changing. Watch, wait, and rest… for the blood will take care of all that shall come forth the days and the weeks and the months ahead… the power that is actually working today will work tomorrow. And it will work into those times that are to come.

I keep having this sense that this morning that when you started singing that about the blood, right at the end, it was more than just a song. It was more than just, you know, nice, beautiful words. It was the power of that blood was going out, moving out. And changing situations… that we must spend the time, wait in the presence that we might not ever rush ahead and go forth and move so quickly as if we might be running through an airport or running in a marathon or whatever. Moving so quickly that we might miss the things that the Lord has prepared and the things that shall be manifested by the words spoken in the spirit or by the Spirit are heartfelt prayers of a righteous… made righteous by the blood…

Thank you for the power right now these days… Thank you for the power. Thank you, Lord, for he who dwells in secret place of the most high shall remain stable, fixed under the shadow of the almighty. Whose power no foe and withstand. So we stay fixed today under that blood… we stay stable and we’ll remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the almighty. No foe, no power, no plan of the enemy cannot withstand. We’ll say of the Lord, He’s our refuge, our fortress. You are our refuge. You’re our fortress. In you we lean, we rely. And in you, we confidently put our trust this morning. We trust in you. We rely upon you. We take our place right here in this Psalm 91. We take our place in that secret place of the most high God. Thank you for that comfort. Thank you for the strength. Thank you for the anointing. Thank you for the power. Thank you for protection that is in and through our Father… For then, He will deliver us from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. And then He’ll cover us with His pinions and under His wing shall you trust and find refuge… your truth, Lord, it’s our faith faithfulness. It’s a shield. It’s a buckler. We will not be afraid. Hallelujah. There shall no evil befall us, nor any plague or calamity or works of the enemy come near our tent, in Jesus name.

Thank you, Father. So we’ll stay in the march. We’ll stay in the plans. We’ll stay in the works of the Father  and remain steady and stay fixed. We thank you for the power of that blood, that power causes victory. And we are victory inside our bodies. Our bodies are whole. Our bodies are healthy. Our minds are strong. We’re fixed and we’re moving in your perfect will. And in your perfect plans… your plans, Lord, your purposes. Hallelujah.

Peg led group singing in the spirit and then shared…

I just see the brightness of His glory that I was in and I just know God wants us to take that brightness out into the world wherever we go and just to keep moving, but to stay in His brightness, to stay in His glory and keep moving forward in that. Hallelujah.

Pastor Ray…

We believe that, to take the glory wherever we go… to be filled, being filled, standing strong, declaring the glory of God, declaring signs and wonders, the supernatural events, good things unfolding, things being restored that were broken up… Restoration in the name of Jesus. Be glorified. Get all of the glory today. We honor you. We magnify you. You’re good all day, all the time. We overcome because you overcame… Thank you for it, Jesus. Amen. Hallelujah.

Thank you for coming this morning and joining online for sure. Appreciate it so much. Amen.
