Mary led group in worship…

Mary shared…

Today Pastor Ray asked me to share something. I’m sharing out of “Fueling the Fire.” It’s compiled by Philip Curtis. It’s full of different ministers’ comments about the Holy Spirit. This is by Wesley Duewel from “Ablaze for God.” We’ve shared this many times through the years. We love these words. Ministers of the past, their experiences with God. We take what they’ve experienced and apply it to today.

The Holy Spirit revives your spirit. Fills you with abundance of life, love, and zeal. And sets you aglow so that you manifest the vibrant, radiant life of God. He will revive your devotion, accelerate your obedience, and fan into flame your zeal. We have the great gift of God, the Holy Spirit. But we need to hunger more for the manifestation of His presence and open our hearts constantly in faith’s expectancy for His working. His empowerings and constant enabling in our lives. God gives us capacity and the Spirit wants to imbue our whole being with His reality, making us His channels of expression that His holy fire may be constantly visible in us. Ablaze for God. We must choose whether we will neglect the Spirit, quench the Spirit, or fan into flame the Spirit’s presence. The Spirit came upon Jeptha, Judges 11:29, and he advanced against strong enemy forces. The secret of advance for God is the same today. The Spirit must come upon us again and again. Slow advance may be caused by our failure to ask and appropriate adequately the Spirit’s power. There is always a tremendous difference between being a disciple of Christ indwelt by the Spirit and being clothed with the Spirit, filled with the Spirit, and empowered by the Spirit. The Spirit must penetrate and possess all of our being. Penetrate and possess all of our being. That means controlled by Him. He must control us in all of His lordship. He must pervade our personality. He must add a dimension of supernatural power. It is not enough for us to say that since Pentecost, every Christian has the power of the Spirit. The question is, are you and I fully appropriating the power available to us? We need a new drenching, a new outpouring of the Spirit upon us. We need again and again to have God’s power descend upon us, enter into us, fill us, and permeate us until we can truly say of our lives, “Not I but Christ.” And of our ministry, “Not I but God’s Spirit.” It is spiritually natural for the Holy Spirit to come upon God’s children again and again. Once they have been initially filled with His presence and power, whenever new special times of need arise, the Spirit is available to empower and fill again. God is delighted to anoint us, empower us, and cause His Spirit to flow through us out to others with their needs. As we walk close to God in obedience, to His will and as we seek His face for new endowments, we receive by faith His new outpourings. Spiritual ministry is dependent upon the Spirit. There is no other way. You can never minister effectively unless you are filled with the Spirit and daily anointed. Led and empowered by the Holy Spirit. To be filled means that the whole personality is imbued by the Spirit, pervaded by the Spirit, and saturated with the Spirit that the person is not only spiritually spiritual but Spirit filled. For you to be Spirit filled implies that that presence and power of the Spirit rests upon your person. Clothed you and is manifested through you.

So this morning, we’re going to sing “Welcome Holy Spirit” and really ponder those words that we’ve sung over and over and over again. Every day we need to acknowledge Him and welcome Him and reverence His presence. We need Him more and more and more every day. Yesterday is gone. Today we need Him anew. Amen?

In my spirit, I could actually see the words “press in.” That’s the first thing I saw. Then as we kept singing, “Welcome Holy Spirit,”… I believe when we welcome the Holy Spirit, He comes in manifestation.  Then I heard “press into the new. For there are territories and realms that we’ve never entered into.” I remember brother Kenneth Hagin saying we’re right on the edge to step into new things. On Monday, we felt like we stepped over into something. We had a sense that something happened and we stepped into some different… I don’t know how to say it. Just realms or a breakthrough. Something is happening. Something by the Spirit has begun to change and turn. Maybe Erika can describe it better.

Erika shared…

It was as though we as vessels stepped aside and He began to express Himself and His cry and heart at a new degree and new level. Because He’s the one that gives us the prayer. He is the one who allows us to enter into the heart of the Father. And there are heart cries of the Father that must be heard and yielded to in this day. For there is much at stake and the harvest is white. And we have been given the precious promises to bring healing and life and love to the hurting and helpless and hopeless. The Holy Spirit works in yielded vessels that are consumed with Him… His plan and purpose. Vessels whose eyes have been changed by the Spirit who see in a new way… who see the lost…

Oh won’t you step out and be used by Me today! Used in a way that’s been unseen, in a fashion that will reach the unreached and touch the lost. This same Spirit cries today!

Pastor Ray continued…

If we look at it like this, to move out of our natural thinking and move into our spirit and begin to see what He is showing us to see and to know… what He would have us to say or pray… the way He sees it and we would seize it. It creates inside of us more and more and more of Him. Then our thoughts will line up with our spirit and we’ll begin to pray the way He sees it, not the way we see it in the natural. A lot of times we think natural things and ways. The things around us have an effect in that they lower our expectation about how things are to change. We want to cooperate with the Holy Spirit today.

Prayed…

We break every old way or plan that tried to hold us down… thank You, Holy Spirit, for what you’ve done for us… we want to line up with Your plans… open up the gates… the doors… straighten the path… we prepare the way of the Lord… in our nation… states… churches… in pastors… our cities… we need another Pentecost … we’re asking for the wind of the Spirit to blow… wind, blow… rain, fall… fire, burn… more and more… we look to the new… a greater momentum in the church… an awakening… wake up, Church… take your place… city after city… churches rising up in Your glory and power…

We refuse to be stuck… to be chained… to be bound by religiosity by lethargy and apathy… we refuse to be stuck in religious tradition that prevents the power of God from operating… we lay aside those things that hold us back and limit us… clothed with power from on high… by the Spirit… anointed from on high… filled with words that change, that rearrange… that tear down… Your words, Father… in our mouth are the same as Your Word in Jesus’ mouth… touch our lips, O God… give us the cry, the prayer, the command… give us the words that say “no more will the church cower in the corner…” … no more will she be ashamed… no more will she be apologetic… no more will she be stymied… following behind… we declare as sons of God that we take our places and step into that place… with the anointing and equipment from heaven… to be loosed now in the name of Jesus… gifts and callings for such a time as this… waiting in the wings now stepping out and filling the void… to set the captives free… going about doing good and healing all that are oppressed of the devil… Father, we thank You that the great commission is vibrant and living in the church… revelation in the church… to take every advantage… obedience in the Church… moved with compassion… stirred in our eharts… alive unto You and Your Word… let a new urgency be birthed in the Church… let us see the full picture of what You’ve called us to… events and happenings… let us be changed, Father… a transformation both individually and collectively in the Church… our cities and antions… permanent change… we lift up this nation and our President… we apply the blood over him and his family… we declare no weapon formed against them shall prosper… no lies or deception… strengthen them… we plead the blood over this state, city and leaders… we declare in the name of Jesus, change and transformation for Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota… we will cooperate in this last leg of the race… moving out in the power of the Spirit… we declare a transfer of power in this state and city… we call this state to the right… we call the believers in this state, arise and take your place… in these last days… We lift up Pulse meeting… this is the call to arise…

Word came…

Disappointment in how it turned out. Disappointed in how they acted toward you. Disappointed because it didn’t go the way you thought it would go. Disappointment has to go. Go! Get out! Stop now in Jesus’ name. Any kind of disappointment, let it go now. In Jesus’ name, go. Leave. Get out of the Church. Churches that were disappointed that the Spirit moved somewhere else. Stop it! Be encouraged. Not discouraged. Not disappointed. Be encouraged for the voice of the Lord is saying “today if you’ll hear My voice, be thou encouraged. Lifted by the Spirit.”

Saints, when we were singing about freedom and the blood and  Pastor Ray talked about disappointment, it hit me is that there are some people here now, that some things have happened and you’ve allowed the enemy to lie to you. God has forgiven you but you have not received that forgiveness. You got to let it go. And for some of you, it has tainted the way you see God. There’s an anointing here today that will break that. Come down right now if God is speaking to you. Something happened and you have not let it go. Just come forth and the anointing will take care of it right now.
