Welcoming prayer to Holy Spirit…

Pastor Ray shared…

Barb, when you were welcoming the presence, I heard this:

When you welcome Me and expect to see and to know and to walk in Me in My presence, do not expect to see the things that you’ve seen before. But expect to see Me, My presence, operate through you in a new way. For I will come and I will continually bring forth change within you every single time. For it is My presence that brings you into the position and the place I’ve called you to but it will not be the way you think it will be. For I will come in a new way. For every single day is a new day in Me. And My presence is working in each of you whether you know it or not, whether you feel it or not, whether you sense it or not, I’m working within you to bring you up and out into that, that I would call “new” for you.

We purpose not to expect the move of God, or revival, to be something that would look like something that has already taken place. I believe it will have a resemblance. It’s the same Holy Spirit, but it will be different because these are new times and seasons. And what was then will be changed into another degree that will take us further than we’ve ever been before.

Prayed…

Lord, we do expect you to do things the world has never seen. We expect it and believe for it. We believe every second that we spend time with You in Your presence, we’re changed. Our bodies are changed. Symptoms have to go. Our minds are changed. Our hearts are changed. Plans that we thought were for these days, maybe they’re not the plans that You had for these days. So we desire to move out of our minds and into our hearts and follow and follow and follow what You have predestined us to walk. Your joy is in abundance in us every day if we’ll only tune in to Your presence and obey.

Barb shared…

Here’s what I saw when I was ministering to the Lord; I saw the Holy Spirit come in with an arm full of gifts. Beautiful packages. Normally as believers we would think “These are the gifts of the Spirit and He’s bringing those gifts into the body.” But that’s not the impression I had when I saw that. He’s bringing gifts, not necessarily spiritual gifts, just things for you. Gifts for you. Things that you’ve been believing for, things that you need. Right now. Christmas is the giving season. He’s bringing gifts, things, to you. So receive that today. He’s delivering gifts, packages to you, the things you’ve believing for are coming to you now.

Pastor Ray continued…

He loves to do that. He wants to do it. He’s a good dad. We’re in expectation for that. He put within each of us desires in our hearts for gifts. Heaven-sent supplies, resources, health, whatever we need and want. That’s over and above.

Brother Troy just got new appliances for his kitchen. And they’re stainless too!

Barb shared…

We need to start stepping out of our natural thinking. We limit God by what the things that we see. “God can only move this way” or “this is how I think God will make this happen.” We can’t do that. We can’t limit God. We need to take off the limitations and start letting Him do however He wants to do it. Because He has so many ways. But we limit Him to one or two. “You can use this person over here or this could happen.” Let’s start thinking beyond what our natural mind can think up. What is the biggest thing that you’re believing for right now? What would be better than that? Start to lift your mind. Okay, I’m believing for stainless steel appliances. How about the top of the line? The most expensive appliances that exist! Let’s take it up a notch because He’s able to meet anything you can imagine or think. We’re talking about using your imagination. He created you as a being that could imagine. You think about when you daydream. What do you daydream about? Do you daydream about shopping for socks and underwear? No! You daydream about living in a big, new beautiful home or having a new car to drive. What is it God wants you to think above and beyond? And it’s not so that we can just be people that are consuming things just because we want to consume. It’s because He wants to bless us that way. He wants to show us how much He can do. It’s kind of like issuing a challenge and saying, “Okay, I know I’m believing for this, but, Lord, what should I stretch out for? What should I really imagine and step out for because I know You can do so much more than I’m thinking about right now.” This might seem big to you, but just start to imagine. Begin to imagine and let Him use your imagination. Think about in the beginning what He did and used His imagination. He created every animal that exists. You ever think about that. If you were going to create a new creature, you just begin to imagine. What would you create? You could create anything. Use your imagination to begin to create. He gave you that imagination so you can create your own reality in life. So we need to begin to use our imagination and stretch out and allow the Holy Spirit to come and take hold together with us to bring it forth. He’s waiting. “Come on, think of something big. I’m ready and waiting,” just like He was in the beginning. He was hovering and hovering waiting for the Word of God. He’s waiting for us to speak. He’s waiting to take hold of that Word and make it come to pass.

Prayed…

We rest in You, Lord. Wherever we’ve not been in a place of expectation, we repent. We say today, “Lack, get out.”

Pastor Ray shared…

I want to share this from Hebrews 10. It’s talking about what Jesus did, the sacrifice that He paid so we could receive. He sat down. He’s not still hanging on the cross like I was raised to see. He’s not there.

The plain fact is that bull and goat blood can’t get rid of sin. That is what is meant by this prophecy, put in the mouth of Christ:

You don’t want sacrifices and offerings year after year;
you’ve prepared a body for me for a sacrifice.
It’s not fragrance and smoke from the altar
that whet your appetite.
So I said, “I’m here to do it your way, O God,
the way it’s described in your Book.”

Did the Lord do what God called Him to do? Yes! He did.

When he said, “You don’t want sacrifices and offerings,” he was referring to practices according to the old plan. When he added, “I’m here to do it your way,” he set aside the first in order to enact the new plan—God’s way—by which we are made fit for God by the once-for-all sacrifice of Jesus.

Then skipping down…

The Holy Spirit confirms this:

This new plan I’m making with Israel
isn’t going to be written on paper,
isn’t going to be chiseled in stone;
This time “I’m writing out the plan in them,
carving it on the lining of their hearts.”

He concludes,

I’ll forever wipe the slate clean of their sins.

Once sins are taken care of for good, there’s no longer any need to offer sacrifices for them.

Praise God, right! Do we know that? We get that right? Now further down… to me this is like a theme for these days. Don’t quit. Because if you don’t quit, what happens? You win! If we quit, what happens? We lose. The Bible says,

But you need to stick it out, staying with God’s plan so you’ll be there for the promised completion.

It won’t be long now, he’s on the way;
he’ll show up most any minute.
But anyone who is right with me thrives on loyal trust;
if he cuts and runs, I won’t be very happy.

But we’re not quitters who lose out. Oh, no! We’ll stay with it and survive, trusting all the way.

That’s us! I always remember this lady who was one of our prayer directors. She’s passed on to heaven now. She led a group for years, probably 20 or 25 years. When the leaders would meet, which we do once a month, I don’t know how many times I did it but it seemed like it would always come up. “You can’t give up. You can’t quit. Don’t stop. Keep praying. Keep doing what we know to do.” Several times, she would come up to me afterward and say, “I came to this meeting having decided, ‘That’s it. I’m quitting.’ But I’m telling you right now, I’m not quitting.” Okay! She would keep right on going until she went into her heavenly home. That’s what we all need to do. All the way through!

Ephesian Prayers…

Brother Hagin said he would regularly pray the prayers in Ephesians. I wanted to go thru them today. Let’s begin in Ephesians 1:17.

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power…”

Those three things kind of sum up this whole prayer all the way down through Ephesians 1 and then 2:6. The first point is that we may know “what is” the hope of His calling. And He is calling. He’s called us.

The second point is: the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Barb was talking about those gifts. Can you say the word gift without seeing a beautiful package with a big bow on it? They’re gifts! We don’t get them because we deserve them. We get them because of the blood and it has made us to be receivers of the gifts.

The third thing is “what is the exceeding greatness of His power to usward…” this is a big point, “who believe according to the working of His mighty power.” We know that’s dunamis power. That’s dynamite power! That’s how we can make a difference even in a nation. We’ll see it worldwide. Wherever the Word is being spoken, we believe for that dynamite power to come through the Word that’s being spoken.

Prayed…

We pray the blood over our President. We believe he’ll stay strong. We pray for his body that he is strong and healed and whole and healthy. That he would move out of his thoughts but lean into his heart. Soft heart for You. A soft heart for Your plan and for the people of this nation. We declare that not one weapon formed against him shall prosper. Devil, we remind you, you are under our feet. You are defeated. The blood of Jesus has given us victory over you.

I just had this come up in me…

We take authority over any kind of accidents that would try to come against any member of the body… we’ll start here in this body, Living Word. No weapon formed against this church can prosper. We declare right now in Jesus’ name. We pull the rug out from under you. Whatever activity you were planning to do, we block you by the blood. In the name… we pray over our pastors, every part of their lives and Your plan for them… we plead the blood of Jesus over them… wholeness and health… restoration of every kind in Jesus’ name… No! no, no, no. Together, we hold the blood over Pastors Mac and Lynne, and anything that has to do with them. We plead the blood over them.

If you’re believing God for a car here in the chapel today, if you are believing God for a car, we are in agreement with you for that car to come forth. When? Now! When? Now! This month. Today would be good. The money will be deposited in your account to buy the car. However. God is a big God and He has big presents for you and for me.

I’m reminded of a man and his wife who came one day to Morning Prayer. The first time he came, he got up and said, “I’m believing God for a job. That’s why I’m here. I lost my job.” He never came back to morning prayer because he got a job! His wife came and said he can’t come back because he got a job! I love it. One day and boom!

Let’s go back to Ephesians verse 20:

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
