Morning Prayer Summary for Friday, August 7, 2020

Pastor Tim…

Good morning everybody. Welcome to Friday morning prayer. Pastor Ray has some things on his heart that’s he’s going to share this morning.

Pastor Ray…

Pastor Tim is going to sing a song that we’ve done a lot over the years at Living Word. It’s so appropriate for right now. I just heard it the other day. It’s about the nations of the earth. Before we do that, I want to read this about the American flag. We believe for the glory of God to just settle in and where people would actually sense His presence. Someone gave me a copy of what it means when they fold the flag. I’m sure you’ve all seen the folding of the flag where it ends up in a triangle. There are 13 folds they make. I just through they were just folding the flag. But this is what it means.

The Meaning Behind the 13 Folds of Old Glory

The first fold of our flag is a symbol of life.
The second fold is a symbol of our belief in eternal life.
The third fold is made in honor and remembrance of the veteran departing our ranks, and who gave a portion of his or her life for the defense of our country to attain peace throughout the world.
The fourth fold represents our weaker nature; as American citizens trusting in God, it is Him we turn to in times of peace, as well as in times of war, for His divine guidance.
The fifth fold is a tribute to our country. In the words of Stephen Decatur, “Our country, in dealing with other countries, may she always be right, but it is still our country, right or wrong.”
The sixth fold is for where our hearts lie. It is with our heart that we pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
The seventh fold is a tribute to our armed forces, for it is through the armed forces that we protect our country and our flag against all enemies, whether they be found within or without the boundaries of our republic.
The eighth fold is a tribute to the one who entered into the valley of the shadow of death, that we might see the light of day, and to honor our mother, for whom it flies on Mother’s Day.
The ninth fold is a tribute to womanhood. It has been through their faith, love, loyalty and devotion that has molded the character of the men and women who have made this country great.
The 10th fold is a tribute to father, who has also given his sons and daughters for the defense of our country since he or she was first born.
The 11th fold represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon and glorifies the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The 12th fold represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies God the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost.
The 13th and last fold, when the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost, reminding us of our national motto, “In God We Trust.”

After the Folding Ceremony

After the flag is completely folded and tucked in, it has the appearance of a cocked hat, ever reminding us of the soldiers who served under Gen. George Washington and the sailors and Marines who served under Capt. John Paul Jones and were followed by their comrades and shipmates in the U.S. Armed Forces, preserving for us the rights, privileges, and freedoms we enjoy today.

Pastor Ray continues…

We’re free! We are a free people. And it’s so, so critical in these days when we see so much of the opposite. It’s our duty, our right, our privilege to send out our prayers, and make a way where there was no way. And see things change, turnaround… see the joy of the Lord be our strength. We’re going to do this song. I think you’ll love it. It’s so much about the glory and welcoming His presence.

Pastor Tim…

Father of creation, unfold your sovereign plan… raise up a chosen generation… that will march through the land… all of creation is longing for Your unfailing of power… would You release Your anointing… Oh God, let this be the hour… let Your glory fall in this room… let it go forth from here to the nations… let Your fragrance rest in this place… as we’ve gathered to seek Your face… ruler of the nations, the world has yet to see… the full release of Your promise… the church in victory… turn to us Lord and touch us… make us strong in Your might… overcome all our weaknesses… that we could stand up and fight… let Your glory fall in this room…  ♪

Father, You said in Your Word that we’re changed in Your presence. The more we are in Your presence, the more we are changed into the likeness of who You are. And that’s why we want more of You because we want to be more like You. Less of me. More of You. So that we can be changed and transformed into the very likeness, the very nature having Your mind and thoughts and heart and attitude… walking in Your ways. More accurately representing You and reflecting who You really are. Changed to be more like You. So that we can go out into the highways and byways and take Your presence to where it’s needed. So it’s not just for ourselves so we can enjoy Your presence. Even though we love and enjoy Your presence, Father, but it’s so that we can take Your presence to the nations. To the cities. To the states. To our neighborhoods. To bring the kingdom of God. To bring Your anointing and presence… peace and joy… love and to be expressions of Your heart. That is our heart’s cry this morning. So we say…

Let Your glory fall in this room… let it go forth from here to the nations… let Your fragrance rest in this place… as we gather to seek Your face…

For God so loved the world that He gave. He so loved that He did something. First Corinthians says that if we don’t have love, we’re like a clanging cymbal. Like a gong. It’s that love, just like He had. Romans 5:5 talks about that love that He shed, that love abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. I was reading this, this morning that just came up so strong when you started talking about the love for the nations. This is John Wesley. He said, “It must be allowed to be such a love of our neighbor as can only spring from the love of God. The Romans 5:5 expeience concerns this love of God rather than the love of neighbor, however, when a person experiences the love of God, it sweetly constrains him to love every child of man with the love which is here spoken of, namely tender good will to all the souls that God has made. That faith which is the operation of God then not till then the love of God is shed abroad in his heart.” So from that place, that love that God has shed abroad in our hearts, that’s what we tap into when we pray for those in the nations. It’s that love, the same love that God so loved the world that He gave. That’s the love that compels us to pray because if you’re watching the news these days, people can annoy you. But God loves those people. And we have to pray from a place of that love.

The other day I had a meeting with someone and it was someone that just kind of bugs me. Not a lot of people but me. This person just bugs me. And so as I’m sitting there in this meeting, the Holy Ghost said, “Isn’t the love of God shed abroad in your heart?” And I said, “Yes.” And He said, “Well, tap into that flow. Let that love flow right now.” So I did. I just kind of… I was listening but I was going, “The love of God is shed abroad in my heart… let that love flow out of me.” And it was amazing. All that annoyance just left. I thought, “This is great! It’s a great meeting.” But by faith, it’s always by faith that we believe that it’s in us. His love is in us. And we need to let that love flow today. So while Pastor Tim is singing about the nations and that love flowing, tap into that love, because there might be nations you think, “ugh, those people are ridiculous. So violent.” We can’t think that way. We can’t think in our minds like that. It’s the love flow. The same flow that God flows in us.

Pastor Tim continued …

unfold Your sovereign plan… raise up a chosen generation… that will march through the land… for Your unveiling of power… would You for Your anointing… Oh God release Your anointing… let it be right here, right now… let Your glory, let it fall in this room…

Pastor Ray…

Your glory, Lord… we need it as a necessity in our lives… it’s Your plan for us to loose it… to speak it… to come in contact with… our neighbors and friends and cities… the states and our country… it’s so easy and tempting to speak words that are not words of love… we can’t judge but we pray…

Before I left, I turned on the news and the Archbisop Dolan from New York was on the news. He was talking about the same thing. God’s love through us, we should be different. He said Christians should act differently and be different. The world should be able to see there is something different about us. We can’t expect those that are in the world to act the same was as we do. Some do. There are unbelievers that act like believers are to act. Sandy and I live in an apartment building on the fourth floor. We go up the elevator and go down the hall. I think it’s fun to dispense the love of God. And a lot of times, there are people that I meet… I’ll go up the elevator with them. Or they’re coming out and I’m coming in. I just talk to them. A lot of times, they’re like this. [expressionless] they’re like, “I don’t talk to other people.” Whatever… I don’t know. So I wait until they leave, and then I answer myself. Ha, ha, ha. “Hey, I’m doing great! Thank you for asking!” But we’re different and we’ve got to dispense God to others.

Our nation is changed by the glory of God. Like Sister Billye said, “One thing will change America. An awakening.” We don’t exactly know how it will look, but we know it’s going to be good. And it will go from state to state to state. The devil has overplayed his hand with all this negativity. The church will rise up strong against it. The Lord is joining us together in one accord for His plan and purpose.

I just heard the word “enabler.” Sometimes we hear that in a negative context. Like, “You’re just an enabler.” But the holy ghost said He’s an enabler. He enables us to do everything He’s called us to do. We can depend on him and rely on Him. And everything that He needs to accomplish… we’re trusting God for miracles, signs, wonders. And He has enabled us to bring those things to pass through His presence. We’re enabled by the Holy Ghost! Today, right now. Wherever you are and whatever you need, faith works by love and He put that love in you to flow to enable you to receive of Him. Whatever you need. You don’t have to have hands laid on you. You  can receive from the spirit of God because He has enabled you to receive. You have everything you need to receive what you need right now. Mental, if it’s in the mental realm. There are some people that are having metal issues. Your mind is not working right. Maybe something in the chemistry of your brain. He has enabled you to receive healing by the Holy Spirit. You’re enabled by the power of God to be free from that torment in Jesus’ name. Right now in the name of Jesus, we release the power of God to you. Receive. You are enabled to receive it right now in Jesus’ name. Freedom from that torment in your mind. Freedom from that darkness. Did you have something else there? Another word?

Pastor Ray…

Isaiah 60:1–3. It says arise from your depression. You know how Pastor Lynne did that? There were times when she couldn’t even get up. She would take the Word and put it on the floor and stand on it. “I’m standing on the Word.” Then she would take a rubber binder and put it on her wrist. Every time the devil… that’s where depression comes from… every time that bad thoughts would come, she would snap the binder and read the Word. She was set free. Free! Say what you said again. You called it out.

Barb…

The mind? I don’t remember what I said! Ha, ha. Something in the brain, the chemistry or darkness. In Jesus’ name, minds are clear and sharp. Brains are working right. The chemistry is right. Torment leaves in Jesus’ name. The anointing of God destroys that yoke of bondage in you now. Depression leaves in Jesus’ name. That oppression of the enemy has to go in the name of Jesus Christ. I don’t care how long it’s been there. I don’t care how long the battle has ranged against you, it has to stop in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus purges you now, purges your mind, your body of that demonic force in the name of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus is like a weapon… like a great whip in your hand. And it casts that thing out… (praying in tongues)… Grace Ryerson Roos used to say that the blood of Jesus reconciles us to the will of God… reconciles your mind… your body to the will of God… and you are enabled to receive right now… the presence of God overcomes you now… the freedom of God comes to you… your thoughts become clear now… your thinking becomes clear now in Jesus name… no more confusion… yes, you can repent of those things but your healing is not hindered… because of that… the blood paid for your healing… there’s no hindrance to your healing… you stop thinking that way in Jesus’ name… the healing of God flows to you now… unhindered… forgiveness and peace flows to you in Jesus’ name… you are restored in the name of Jesus… all bondage has to bow… it has to go… bondage of mind and body has to go… today… victory today… yes, out on the coast, we declare freedom for you… freedom in your thinking… freedom in your thoughts… coast to coast… it’s time to coast on in to the river of God… to His will and purpose… His anointing… yeah, from the north, from the northwest… all the way down to the southwest… the anointing of God running through… from the north to the south… running through the anointing… all the way through Oregon, Washington, California… all the way down the east coast… all through New York, through the Carolinas… down to Florida… Your anointing… raining down… washing out all the darkness… washing out that muck… washing out the garbage… the trash… all the wrong thinking… wash away by the blood of Jesus… and you don’t think that the Midwest has escaped… ha, ha, ha… oh the blood of Jesus over you… over the Midwest… coming into line… yes, you rise up in Jesus’ name… in the strength of the Spirit… yes, you’ve laid low but it’s time to rise up… time to come up… stand up and be counted… let your voice be heard… there is a case for Christ… ha, ha, ha… carry it forth… walk it out… the anointing, the anointing, the anointing flowing to you… in you… flowing through you… moving you into the right place… no more waiting around… He’s waiting on you to make a move… step out in Him… He’s ready to flow and take you… come on, it’s time to go… time to move… time to get up… to shake off all the junk… all that heaviness… time to get up and stand up in His strength… and be who He’s called you to be… time to take this land… we dispatch you today by the power of the Holy Ghost… all over this nation… take up your call… it’s time to run, run, run… in every direction… they’re going into every city, every state…

Pastor Ray…

I heard something in your tongues. “Shut up!” I know it’s not about any person. It’s about the devil. And sometimes we just have to say, shut up. But we must contend for the glory and get out of … what we’re talking about is depression and not being in the peace of God. The Bible says behold darkness shall cover the earth. However, it’s dense and dark, but the Lord shall rise upon you. Whoa! And His glory shall be seen on you. Darkness, it’s over for you. Depression, it’s done. We curse and come against depression. We’re overcomers and we are free.

Pastor Tim…

I’m going to see a victory… I see a victory… for the battle belongs to You, Lord… I’m going to see a victory… ♪

Pastor Ray…

I love it that the battle belongs to the Lord. We don’t have to duke it out. We don’t have to fight in our flesh. We pray and He works it out. Before we go, I want to make this announcement. Remember when Pastor Lynne did the services and she talked about an app where we could click into it. Beginning September 1, there will be all kinds of different information, prayers, whatever… all about the election coming up. So once again, that website… you can google it. it’s electionprayer.us … there will be a place where you can sign up for it. So you just give your email and you’ll receive all kinds of awesome things on that site. As far as we know, it’s going all the way up to the election. Then who knows what happens after that. Hallelujah. Thank you for joining us and tuning in. You’re blessed.
