Prayer Summary May 15

Prayed…

Father, thank You for saving us and giving us Your name
Your name, Jesus, is above all names
We appropriate that name in our prayers
All power is in Your name, unlimited
The demons tremble at Your name; principalities and powers, O Lord, bend their knees at Your name
What an honor and privilege to speak Your name
Our impossibilities are turned around through the work of the cross; it shall always be finished
In the Spirit, all things are possible
Healing and prosperity are in that name; just speak that name
Father, we take more of Your Holy Spirit today because Your Word says there is more

The following excerpt is taken from In the Day of Thy Power by Arthur Wallis:

It’s to be intensely desired. It was then and still is born out of a soul thirst. It is the experience of the one who cannot do without it. Thirst is more intense desire than hunger and in the realm of the Spirit, thirst is the word that God has used to illustrate the desire that should characterize His people. How ready the Lord is to satisfy the longing soul and to lead His people to the fountain of living water.

Child of God, “Are you thirsty to be filled with the Spirit?” Characteristically, revival is a time when large numbers of believers are filled with the Spirit. Such an event as here at Pentecost may set off revival. Charles Finney received a mighty anointing of the Spirit on the evening of the day of his conversion. As a result, a revival broke out the following day in Adams New York, the town where he lived. “When the waiting vessel cannot contain the abundance of the heavenly anointing there must of necessity be floods upon the dry ground and such are often the beginnings of a revival” said Finney. Many times great numbers of persons in a community will be clothed with this power when the very atmosphere of this whole place seems to be charged with the life of God. Strangers coming into it and passing through the place will be instantly smitten with conviction of sin and many instances converted to Christ.

Continued Praying…

Father, through the power of Your Spirit, we believe to be even more thirsty for Your presence
Thank You, Father, today for Your faithfulness
Father, we continue to wait in expectancy for all Your promises in the peace You have left us
We ask You, Father, for a mighty refreshing to Your body, in Jesus’ name
Thank You, Father, for the power to speak out the plans that You have already placed deep inside of us
It’s there to come out; it is for others to be ministered to
Resources from heaven, finances
Father, we ask for all the needs to be met fully of those in positions of authority within the body
It may look one way in the natural, but in the Spirit, it is changing and turning
You are the great I Am; the Father of all fathers, the Friend of all friends
Father, we ask that You would open our eyes and ears so we could see all that is in Your precious name
Freedom to walk out Your plans, in Jesus’ name
Thank You, Father, for Your written Word and for Your spoken word
We open wide our homes for more of Your presence
We ask to be more saturated with Your very self
By the Spirit, we move out into those new territories
Thank You, Father, for new clothes—clothed with Your precious glory
Rivers of life flowing wherever we go, touching everyone around us
We ask to go into the deep with Your Spirit, Father; write on the tablets of our hearts Your secrets
We declare we will not miss one visitation from You
We purpose to wait on Your leading, Father, knowing that there is a greater anointing when we wait
Father, we ask that You reveal our next steps, individually and corporately
When we hear from You, Father, we will be quick to obey
Father, we respect and honor the name of Jesus
Thank You for the opportunities to hear and get direction from You
Opportunities to bring others on through to victory, to bring the lost to You
Thank You, Father, that Your body is on the increase, in the name of Jesus
