I wanted to go through a couple translations of Psalms 91. I saw something on the news that said ISIS put out a video saying they wanted lone wolves to attack daycares. That is so devilish to even say that. This morning, I was reading the Passion translation of the Bible. In the beginning of Ps. 91 where it says “You sit enthroned under the shadow of El Shaddai.” Shaddai in the Hebrew is taken from a Hebrew root word that has many expressive meanings. It can mean, “God of the mountain, God the Destroyer of Enemies, God the self-sufficient one, God the Nurturer of babies, and God the Almighty.” He is our protector.
This week we prayed over the Mall of America because there was some deal concerning the MOA as far as being in the United States.
I wanted to go through a couple of these. Revelation 12:11, they have overcome because of Him, by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony. Whatever we read in the Word is true only because we believe it and speak it. This stood out to me “by the utterance of their testimony.” It’s not just standing up and testifying. It’s words spoken out of your mouth.
Here’s another translation of that. “Salvation and power are established, kingdom of our God, authority of His Messiah, the accuser of our brothers and sisters thrown out who accuse them day and night before God. They defeated him through the blood of the Lamb and the bold word of their witness. They weren’t in love with themselves and they were willing to die for Christ.”
The subtitle for Psalm 61 is “Prayer for Protection.”
“O God, hear my prayer. Listen to my heart’s cry. For no matter where I am, even when I’m far from home, I will cry out to you for a Father’s help. When I’m feeble and overwhelmed by life, guide me into your glory where I am safe and sheltered. Lord, you are a paradise of protection to me. You lift me high above the fray. None of my foes can touch me when I’m held firmly in your wraparound presence. Keep me in this glory. Let me live continually under your splendor-shadow, hiding my life in you forever.
You have heard my sweet resolutions to love and serve you, for I am your beloved. And you have given me an inheritance of rich treasures, which you give to all your lovers. You treat me like a king, giving me a full and abundant life, years and years of reigning, like many generations rolled into one. I will live enthroned with you forever! Guard me, God, with your unending, unfailing love. Let me live my days walking in grace and truth before you. And my praises will fill the heavens forever, fulfilling my vow to make every day a love gift to you!
Psalm 91 is subtitled “Save and Secure.”
“When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me, and the Stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse. His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. You will never have to worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you. Don’t fear a thing. Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil launched against you. For God will keep you save and secure; they won’t lay a hand on you. Even in a time of disaster with thousands and thousands being killed, you will remain unscathed and unharmed. You will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done. When we live our lives within the shadow of the God most high, our secret Hiding Place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us, or disease infect us? God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm. If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you and keep you from stumbling. You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath your feet. For here is what the Lord has spoken to me: Because you have delighted in me as my great lover, I will greatly protect you. I will see you in a high place, safe and secure before my face. I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will find and feel my presence even in your time of pressure and trouble. I will be your glorious Hero and give you a feast. You will be satisfied with a full life and with all that I do for you. For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation.
Psalms 91: “A Sunday Morning Song of Praise”
It’s so enjoyable to come before you with uncontainable praises spilling from our hearts! How we love to sing our praises over and over to you, to the matchless God, high and exalted over all. At each and every sunrise we will be thanking you for your kindness and your love. As the sun sets and all through the night, we will keep proclaiming, “You are so faithful.” Melodies of praise will fill the air as every musical instrument, joined with every heart, overflows with worship. No wonder I’m so glad; I can’t keep it in! Lord, I’m shouting with glee over all you’ve done, for all you’ve done for me!

I have this in my heart. Sometime during December which begins tomorrow, take a drive around the cities, drive downtown Minneapolis, drive around the stadium. Just take a drive and lift this city up. I’m reminded of when we had a place to pray in downtown Minneapolis. There was something about being on the soil of the city downtown to pray and lift up those lost ones to come in. This city is expecting thousands and thousands of people at the beginning of the year for the Super bowl. The ministry and anointing of the Holy Spirit, we believe for it to be so tangible in our city and all its suburbs that those that will come in will leave changed, not just by who won or lost, but by Your presence, Lord.
Prayed…
We lift up our cities and plead the blood of Jesus around them
We pray for the leaders, the new mayors in the cities
We pray they would have wisdom and understanding
That our cities would continue to move in Your way, toward Your plan and will
We pray for all the churches and ministries that call You Lord
Father, we believe for a supernatural activation. (That’s the word He just dropped in my heart.)
An activation by the power of the Holy Ghost
Activation of Your plan and purpose to go into the highways and byways
That plan for the harvest, for the souls in this city to come in
That plan activated by the Holy Spirit
We believe there is a plan for this day and hour
We stand in agreement that every church that names the name of Jesus Christ that there would be a greater activation
As though a button was hit… eyes see, ears hear, light flooding their hearts
For the body, the Church, activated by the power of the Spirit
Laborers thrust forth into the harvest
Everyday people going forth in the anointing
Laying hands on the sick… delivering a word of knowledge

Last night, I was thinking that today I might get an opportunity to speak and I’m standing before you. What the Lord dropped on my spirit last night was about us as believers knowing our authority. Son-ship, daughter-ship, especially in these last days. When you know who you are, you are bold as a lion. The Lord reminded me of David. This young man in the face of Goliath, just saying all kinds of nonsense about our God. He was blown away. “Is anybody going to deal with this guy?” Think about it. Everyone was saying, “What are you going to do? Shut up! Go back to the field.” He said, “Is there not a cause?” Saints, these days we’re living in right now… is there not a cause? When you are totally possessed by love, the love of Jesus, when it’s been shed abroad in your heart, there is something that comes over you that you don’t care what people say any longer. You become a fool for this great God. The enemy thought he had Him. But right there, He put the enemy to an open shame. Right there and then. This is the day when we need to start affecting the world like never before… out there in the marketplace. Especially when the Spirit of God promised you. It is so vital. Pastor Ray shared the story of a woman. This is a lady that is possessed by God. This is what God is looking for from each one of us. Every time I think about this story about this woman… Think about this. You’re sitting where you are and the Spirit of God ministers to you and says, “Daughter, I want you to go up there right now as the man of God is ministering and I want you to do ten pushups.” Would you do that? Are you that possessed with the love of Jesus? Are you that carefree that you would say, “Whatever You say, Lord. I don’t care if I look like a fool. I’m a fool for you anyways.” The woman initially said, “Lord, I can’t do that!” But as the Lord kept on encouraging her, “there’s a reason for this, go ahead and do it.” As the story goes, there was a man that came in the back and something to the effect, “I don’t want to go to that church.” He came and sat in the back and he prayed, “If somebody will go up there and do ten pushups, then I’ll believe.” That’s when the woman went to the front and did ten pushups.
Saints, it’s the time to be radical, to be bold for Jesus, to be so possessed by the love of Jesus that we don’t care what people say. Not that you do crazy things. You get my drift. That was pretty crazy. It was “in your face.” How about another woman. I thank God for the women of God. There’s mostly women here today. The men are coming. We’re calling them in. There was this woman going to a church not a full Gospel church. God asked her to stay at this church. She was a musician and she was singing. After you sing, you go sit down. The Lord is always thinking about people. As soon as she finished singing, the Spirit said to her, “Dance, daughter, dance.” She was like, “Lord, here? Now?” He got stronger. “Dance!” She said, “Lord, this is what you do privately.”
That’s why it’s good to do things in private so when it comes time to do it publically, you just do it. David had done some stuff privately, with the lion and the bear. Nobody say it. So when it was time to kill Goliath, it was like, “Who is this guy? I’ve already taken care of stuff privately with God.” So this woman started dancing back and forth. With her eyes closed, she danced back and forth. The spirit came.
Last night, what I saw myself doing last night was laying hands on people that wanted the boldness of God, like never before. Radical. On fire for God. Totally possessed with the love of Jesus that you don’t care what people say. So if you want this boldness… this is an impartation from heaven. If you want this boldness so that anywhere you are…
I was with some pastors recently. A lot of them don’t know how I operate. So there was about six or seven of us. When you’re possessed with love, you don’t care what people say. We were eating and these men came in. What drew my attention to these men was that some of them had shorts on. Who wears shorts in this weather? Every few minutes, I would look at that table and all of a sudden there were 12 men at that table. I’m getting “go to that table.” I’m like, “Lord, what are these pastors going to say? What am I going to do with I get to that table with 12 big guys.” He kept on saying, “Go to that table.”
I went to the biggest guy at the table and said, “Sir, I’m so sorry. But I just want to tell your team here that God loves you guys so much.” All of them started laughing and said, “We’re Christians. We go to a Christian school.” I said, “Oh.” Right there the Lord gave me a word of knowledge. I said, “So which one of you is not a Christian yet?” They all looked at this one guy at the table. So I go to him and said, “you are not yet a Christian huh?” I said to the other guys. “Here’s what we’re going to do, guys. All of you are Christians. Here’s what we’re going to do to make it easier for this man. We’re all going to say the same prayer to receive Jesus together.” I said to him, “You’re ready now, aren’t you?” Ha, ha, ha. So all of us said the sinner’s prayer and he joined in. What was so amazing about that is they said it so loud that other people probably joined in also.
I’m not saying I’m anything. But He helped me. Just like you, I did not want to get up. Just like you, I probably said, “I don’t want people to say, ‘what is he doing?’” All these fears. But because of the love, I went. If they shut me down, they shut me down. If they laugh at me, they laugh at me. Who cares.
