Jerre shared…

I just read this morning that the idols of Egypt tottered at the presence of the Lord. There is something about the presence that the enemy really totters at. They can’t stand in the presence of the Lord. And David said, “You have set me forever in Your presence, O Lord.” So we need to renew our minds and stay when we get into the presence of the Lord … He doesn’t leave us. We walk with that presence. We talk with that presence. It is the glory of God, kind of like a cloak that encompasses us. That’s renewing our minds to what God has promised us.

Jerre led in worship…

♪ We thank You for Your presence, Lord, that never leaves us. The glory of Your presence, Lord. You set us forever in Your presence, O Lord. Forever in Your presence. We walk in Your Spirit, O Lord and we stand in Your presence, O Lord. You are always here with us. Whenever we need You Lord, You are faithful. You pick us up and set our feet upon the rock again. We thank You, Lord, as we gather here together, O Lord. In Your name, You are right here in our midst. Here with the power to save… ♪

Hallelujah. Out of our bellies flow… Each one of us individually, there is a river. There is a flow. I wanted to read a couple scriptures from Acts 10. I have a couple things in my heart to share. One is that we need to pay attention to the tongues that we pray. It’s so important to listen while we’re praying and be aware of the words… even though we may not understand each and every one, but there are things and sounds and words that we’ll hear that will… it’s like they’ll redirect our prayers. They’ll direct them in the places where they should go. We’ll hear it and see it and pray it. Just be more aware of that. And then the prayers that we maybe don’t pray, you know, where the plan, the purpose of God maybe that He’s given us that we maybe haven’t accessed it or maybe didn’t take that one step we should have taken. I just want us to be so aware. Just readjust our perspective on what we’re doing and why. And, of course, the bottom line, everything has to do with the lost, for the souls to come in—the good news of the Gospel being preached to every man, woman, and child on the face of the earth. We thank You for it, Lord.

Starting in Acts 10:1, “Now [living] at Caesarea there was a man whose name was Cornelius, a centurion (captain) of what was known as the Italian Regiment, 2 A devout man who venerated God and treated Him with reverential obedience, as did all his household; and he gave much alms to the people and prayed continually to God.” And without going further into some things that took place, he had a vision and saw what he should do and sent some men to see Peter in Joppa. Let’s skip down to verse 9. The next day, the men that he sent were still on the way, still walking. So “Peter went up to the roof of the house to pray, about the sixth hour (noon).” So first what was Cornelius doing continually? Praying to God. And then Peter decided to go up on the roof top to pray and that was about the sixth hour, or noon. Then he became hungry and wanted something to eat so while the food was being prepared, a trance came over him. He saw the sky open and something like a great sheet lowered by the four corners descending on the earth. “It contained all kinds of quadrupeds and wild beasts and creeping things of the earth and birds of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him, saying, Rise up, Peter, kill and eat. 14 But Peter said, No, by no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common and unhallowed or [ceremonially] unclean. 15 And the voice came to him again a second time, What God has cleansed and pronounced clean, do not you defile and profane by regarding and calling common and unhallowed or unclean. 16 This occurred three times; then immediately the sheet was taken up to heaven. 17 Now Peter was still inwardly perplexed and doubted as to what the vision which he had seen could mean, when [just then] behold the messengers that were sent by Cornelius, who had made inquiry for Simon’s house, stopped and stood before the gate.” He didn’t have any time to think about it. He was still pondering, what it could possibly mean. This is the way the Amplified Bible says it, “revolving the vision.” He’s going, “What in the world did that mean?” Meditating on it. The Holy Spirit said to him “Behold, three men are looking for you!” So he went down below and they invited him to come with them. Verse 34, after he went he came to the house of Cornelius and there were all these people there waiting to hear what he had to say.

Have you ever had that kind of situation happen where you come into a room and everybody is looking to you for something to say? You better have something from the Holy Ghost to say. It reminds me how Pastor Lynne would always say, “I should be able to come up to you and say ‘Prophesy right now.’” It’s true. We should always be so full of the Spirit that we would always be ready to give a word. We need to remind ourselves, “You are filled with the Holy Ghost. You can do whatever the Lord has told you to do. Stop questioning what you’ve been called to. Just do what I’m telling you to do.”

I just have this deal lately that the things, if we miss one thing, if we just don’t do the things He’s calling us to do, what are we missing on the other side of that? What’s He missing? Maybe there are projects that don’t ever get done. Jobs that don’t get finished. Anyway, Peter in verse 34… I love it because all this time he was still trying to figure out what that vision meant. But when they put a demand on him and they have all these people sitting there, he opened his mouth… sometimes that’s all we need to do—just open up our mouths. It’s not us anyway. “Most certainly and thoroughly I now perceive and understand that God shows no partiality and is no respecter of persons…” That’s the first thing that came out. Now, he got the revelation that the good news, the Gospel should be taken to the Gentiles. “But in every nation he who venerates and has a reverential fear for God, treating Him with worshipful obedience and living uprightly, is acceptable to Him and sure of being received and welcomed [by Him].” People in every nation, every tongue, every people group. No one is kept out. Everyone is welcome. And it changed the whole ministry. It changed his ministry, for sure. Verse 36 says, “You know the contents of the message which He sent to Israel, announcing the good news (Gospel) of peace by Jesus Christ, Who is Lord of all—37 The [same] message which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, starting from Galilee after the baptism preached by John—38 How God anointed and consecrated Jesus of Nazareth with the [Holy] Spirit and with strength and ability and power; how He went about doing good and, [f]in particular, curing all who were harassed and oppressed by [the power of] the devil, for God was with Him.” God is with you! He is with us. God is in us by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are anointed supernatural beings. We’re only temporarily living on this earth. The power of the Holy Spirit is actively waiting to do the work that needs to be done. So let’s be sure not to just blend in with our neighbors, not to blend in with the world but actively do what He’s called us to do… Do good to others. Bring the love of the Father to those that we come in contact with and always have that in the back our minds, looking for the opportunity to share that good news and bring change in the lives of others.

Compassion. That just came up in my heart. Watching over those that are going through situations that seem like hell on earth, being moved with compassion and lifting and doing and giving and bringing this glory and this honor to them. Cooperating even in a greater way in the days, weeks, and months that we’re living in right here and now. Just not so much to blend in but to stand out, not for something so unusual and weird but for something so good that it could not be denied and it would be accepted and desired.

Prayed…

Let the demonstrations of the power from heaven begin to operate in a greater degree
Watch over our hands, our eyes, and our feet
Watch where we go—the flow, the river
Be sure that its clear—clear words, clear desires
Uncovering and revealing, opening, operating in the power
Operating and using the same power that raised Jesus up in that hour
Not so much just blaming others but watching over our own ways and steps
Not so much what maybe what we want, but what You want, Lord
Your desires, Your plans, and Your purposes
And staying stirred up and filled up by the power of Your Spirit
Abandoning some things and letting them go
But staying in the flow
Permanent change, a permanent rearranging in Jesus’ name
Commanding some things to stop right now in Jesus’ name
How do we do that? By the blood and in the name that’s above every other name
Hindrances, be removed in Jesus’ name!
We bring before You, Father, ministries, churches across the face of the earth
Maybe some things need to be shaken up, or shaken out
Hindrances be broken
We declare right now a freedom for ministries to do what they’ve been called to do
Stability, stay with it, stay with the call, stay with the plan
Some things must be pared back
Once again in bold letters “RENEW AND REVIEW THE VISION” the plan, the purpose
Make it clear once again, Father
Amplify that, Father, in the hearing and the seeing
The specifics, those things that are vital and necessary now—they must be lifted now and come forth
A revelation, open that up
Written on the tables of men’s hearts—to know
We factor in all the factors, Father, we lift the timeline before You
It must come forth of and by Your Spirit
No delay, but stepping forth
There is a sequence—it’s by faith
Take a step and you will see, take a step and it will be completed in Me
It’s in Me! It’s in Me! You will see the plan in Me
Walking so circumspectly, Father, that we sense and know and flow with the Spirit
We stay in the flow
Your individual vision, what God has called you to should line up perfectly with the ministry you’re called to
Synchronized by Your Spirit, heeding Your Spirit, directed by Your Spirit
The spirit of seeing and knowing
I know it seems like an extremity to you, but with Me an open door you will see that brings forth more and more and more of My glory
Open, Father! Up into that way to the highways of our God
Leave the beggarly elements of this earth but cleave unto My Word and My Spirit
Going out it seems like a maze but we follow the Spirit…
Step by step, one degree of glory and then another
The wind will blow… some things will be blown out but much greater will be blown in
Even for some, it’ll be your next of kin
Welcome to the plan! Welcome to the light! Welcome to the glorious Gospel!
It’s time… it’s the time… the time has come for those souls to be won
Untold victories await
It seems like it would be a radical transition, a radical transformation
It must be uprooted by Your Spirit, transplanted by Your Spirit, transformed by Your Spirit
Let them see and let them know
It’s in the divine plan that they go
It seems like that is a signed release form, a passport, get it ready
It seems like there are some magnetic points, they are strategic, the drawing power to be turned up
It’s pinpointed and highlighted in the map of the Spirit to go
It’s a mission
Reaching for that, Father, by Your Spirit

One of the ladies in our prayer directors meeting shared a story about Phil and Fern Halverson. We were talking about being open to the Lord. The Lord told Phil and Fern to go to Oslo and stay there in the airport and wait for His plan. Would you do that? They did. They had their passports ready and so they went to the airport in Oslo and waited on the plan and purpose God had for them. Guess who showed up? Billye Brim and Jim Kaseman at the airport. They received their plan and it was to help Jim Kaseman’s mission to bring brother Hagin’s books into Russia. It was during the time when you couldn’t bring things like that into Russia. They received their plan by being faithful and obedient to go to an airport in another country. They went and were expectant to hear from God. I love that. Expectation should be operating in us all the time. If you want to read about this story, it’s in their book which we have in the bookstore.
