Jerre led in worship…

Erika shared…

We’re no longer a slave to fear, but we are children of God. Free to live and move and have our being in Him. We are overcomers in this life.

We had brother Keith Moore here last night and he delivered a word “in season.” You know what the five-fold ministry gift is given to do? He gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ till we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God to a perfect man to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

Aren’t you glad He gave gifts? He gave gifts why? For the perfecting of the saints, for the equipping of the saints, for the work. Some people don’t like that word “work.” Sorry. If you don’t work, you don’t eat. And that means in the realm of the spirit, you have a work to do. Isn’t that right? So you’re not going to partake unless you partake. Right?

Jerre shared…

Can I just share this? While you were talking about “work,” the Holy Ghost was saying to me that if you just move over in the spirit, work becomes pleasure and not work. Work becomes a wonderful and joyful experience. His burden is easy and His yoke is light. We delight to do His will. But you have to move over into the spirit. I never have a problem coming here. It’s like, “Goodie! What today?”

It’s like this. When my son, Scott, was 17 years old, he said to me, “I need to go to prayer. The Lord is talking to me about joining a prayer group.” I said, “Which one are you going to go to?” He said, “Kelly Lynnes’ group.” I said, “Oh, that’s good. He’s a seasoned pray-er.” So he came home the first night and I said, “How did it go?” He goes, “It was okay.” He came home the second night. “How did it go? What did you pray about?” He said, “We prayed about this and that.” I said, “How did it go with you?” He said, “It was good.” I encouraged him, “You continue to yield yourself to that and eventually you’re going to move over into a place in the spirit.”

So after about the 4th or 5th time, he came home and I said, “How did it go?” He said, “It happened! I felt like I could pray forever!” So the work in the realm of the spirit is a delight and an adventure.

When you said about yielding, can you sing that song, I Yield Myself…

♪ We yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit… we lead ourselves to Your unction, O God… ♪

Prayed and a Word…

Out of the well… Some of you need to move out a little bit in the spirit into a diversity of tongue… Because the Spirit says, “I am new and I am fresh. And I always carry you on the wings of My Spirit. For I am not religious,” says the Lord, “but I am new every morning.” New and alive. Fresh. “I was never meant to be a drudgery. But carried on the wings of the Spirit…” Carry us, Lord, on the wings of Your Spirit… higher and higher… “and with great joy, there is an entrance.” We pray over that entrance. Father, that entrance for Your people… There is an entrance… Into the realm of delight… We delight in it

Last night in the service, I saw something. Sometimes when a word is given through a song, there is a strength that comes. I saw stones turn into sponges. It started when brother Keith said, “I’m going to go over here,” and he sang a song. When he came back, he said “where are we going next.” The people shouted out the scripture where he had left off. Right then and there, I saw the sponges were tuned in and absorbing the Word and ministry of the Spirit. It opened up like a door of opportunity for more, for the flow of the Holy Spirit through a new song.

Erika continued…

Father, we call for that ministry of the Spirit operating and coming through the five-fold ministry gifts for the equipping of the saints, for the lively stones, for the sponges to soak up that ministry of the Spirit. For equipment, Father. For the equipment to go about doing the Master’s business. Supernatural equipment that bring about healing and lifting and life everlasting.

Pastor Ray interjected…

Remember when brother Phil Halverson went out in our old building and exited earth? Right before he exited earth, he was praying for pastors to train up the people to do the work of the ministry. It’s not a small thing. It’s a big deal for the Church. You know the phrase about how the Church is “compacted together” with every stone in its place. Every call and every gift need to be where they’re supposed to be.

Erika continued…

So what is that? The Greek word for equipping implies a recovered wholeness as when a broken limb is set and mends, a discovered function as when a physical member is properly operating. So we’re looking for wholeness, equipping coming from the five-fold ministry gifts, whether it’s through the ministry of the Word, the Spirit, or song. A recovered wholeness and a mending of the bone and a discovered function. It means if you’re a stone and you’re sitting there and you don’t know what you are or what you’re supposed to do, by the Holy Spirit, a discovered function comes into you. Revelation by the Holy Ghost.

Jerre interjected…

I keep getting this over and over: “The weary pastors that have been doing it the wrong way.” Can we lift them up in prayer?

Prayed…

Father, I ask You for revelation knowledge … that the saints would arise as the sons and daughters of God… Take their place in the battle… the pastors would be strengthened and all weariness would go in Jesus’ name… those that serve in the temple would be strengthened with all might in their inner man and able to give out of what You have put in them… that, that weariness would not stay, but go in Jesus’ name… strength and refreshing would come from You to them…

Wind of the Holy Spirit, blow in their spirits… kick up a storm in the spirit of Your pastors, Father… for fresh vision… fresh passion… fresh joy unspeakable and full of glory… endurance… let their eyes see in a new way… dig out their ears in a new way… strengthen those knees, lift up those hands that hang down… Father, lift them to a new place and clothe them… wrap them in Your arms of love… let them be secure… fearless, for perfect love casts out all fear… fear has to go…

Erika shared…

The text teaches that all leadership gifts are given by God as Lord of the Church to equip. That is to mend, prepare, enable for function. The whole body of congregation, supernatural ministry is not flamboyant displays, platform stars who gather believers like satellites. Rather true supernatural ministry at work in the Church begets vital, spiritually functional people throughout the whole church family. The body is to be built up by the mutual efforts of all the members supplying their contribution to the whole. The call to empower people requires mentoring, training, imparting, discipling… all aimed at preparing the body for stability and increase.

Prayed…

Father, we’re looking to You for the equipment and function in the Church
It’s only of and by Your Spirit and mercy and grace
Our eyes are on You…
You are the author and finisher of our faith
Your arm is not shortened to perform it
We thank You that You are working in the ministry gifts

We’re looking for, Lord, is a move and flow of Your Spirit in our leaders…
That they would move and flow with Your Spirit
That they would hear His voice and be led by Him
Your anointing doing its work… removing burdens, destroying yokes
It’s by Your Spirit that Your work is done
That they would receive the call today, to yield themselves to the Holy Spirit
Move and flow with Him… that burden will be lifted off of you
He is on the inside of you and we call you up today, we call you up by the Spirit
We declare that you will walk in Him as never before
You will see in Him as never before
Things will be changed and the body will come together and be brought up into the place that she is supposed to be
Full of His glory and allowing that evidence to flow into the earth
The glory of God manifested through the living stones
No limitations… no boundaries… remove them today in Jesus’ name
Let loose of those things that would hold you back
Let it be wide open to you
Quit saying, “One day, one day…” No. It’s today!
By the power of the Holy Spirit, that heaviness is lifted today
A praise fills your heart and comes out of your mouth
Be filled, be filled, be filled in Jesus’ name
Begin to cooperate… He’s made a way… you didn’t think there was a way out… but God has made a way… deliverance is here today… wherever you are, deliverance is coming to you! the hand of the Lord is upon you… and He is lifting you out right now …
