Daily Life the Test

There is a second, more general lesson: our daily life in the world is made the test of our interaction with God in prayer.
How often the Christian, when he comes to pray, does his utmost to cultivate certain frames of mind which he thinks will be pleasing. He does not understand, or forgets, that life does not consist of so many loose pieces, of which now the one, then the other can be taken up.
Life is a whole, and the pious frame of the hour of prayer is judged of by God from the ordinary frame of the daily life of which the hour of prayer is but a small part. Not the feeling I call up, but the tone of my life during the day, is God’s criterion of what I really am and desire.
My drawing nigh to God is of one piece with my interaction with men and earth: failure here will cause failure there. And that not only when there is the distinct consciousness of anything wrong between my neighbor and myself! But the ordinary current of my thinking and judging, and unloving thoughts and words I allow to pass unnoticed, can hinder my prayer. The effectual prayer of faith comes out from a life given up to the will and the love of God. Not according to what I try to be when praying, but what I am when not praying, is my prayer dealt with by God.

Thank You, Lord, for Your abiding presence and the power of Your Holy Spirit today
We thank You for restoration in every area, Lord
Father, You are the way-maker; You make a way where there seems to be no way!
You are making a way for total and complete restoration!
Those things that were separated are being brought back together again
Thank You that You are moving those things back into the direction that they should go!
Move them back according to Your will and according to Your plan, Lord
Grant wisdom, direction, understanding, insight, and strength to our leaders, Father
They will continue on and do all the things that You have called them to do
Those things that You have ordained to be done, will be done in these last days!
Move those things in the right way; move them into Your perfect plan, Father
Thank You for revival that would move across the United States like never before
Yes, we have seen and hear of some that are moving across this nation, but we believe for more
Calling for the revival to move from the north to the south and from the east to the west
Declaring that prayer would be dominant in the days, the weeks, and the months that are to come
We pray and ask for it, Lord, we want the spirit of prayer to sweep across this nation!
Holy Spirit, take our nation more and more in the Lord’s perfect way!
Father, in these last days, we declare that we would walk more and more in Your perfect love
We purpose in our hearts to walk in the spirit of love, Lord
Give us an even greater revelation of Your love individually and corporately for the body of Christ
Thank You that Your body is rising up, it is standing up and on the alert!
We will watch, and sync up with Your word and what You have said, Lord
Calling for Your body to come together as one in these last days, Father
Praying and pleading the blood of Jesus over those in positions of authority in the body of Christ today
We pray and lift up pastors, ministers, and churches all across this nation
Father, You said that the sheep would know Your voice, and we call them to go and move in Your right way
Grant unto us an even greater revelation and greater understanding in these days we are living in
Illumination of and by Your Spirit, O God
Calling for those things that have begun to turn Your way, that they would turn in an even greater way!
Declaring for eyes to see and ears to hear today in the name of Jesus!
You have provided us with a place to see it, discern it, and to comprehend it, Father
There is room for each and every one to take their place in Christ Jesus
Calling for more to enter in, more to enter in, more to enter in!
Entering in to the secret place of the Most High, the place of the inheritance of Christ
Grant unto us more revelation, more understanding, more strength and ability to walk in the light
Calling for advancement and acceleration all along the way, Father
Praying for spiritual growth and development in the church of the living God
That each and every one would take their place in the body of Christ today!
You have called each and every one for a specific plan and purpose
The gifts and abilities You have given us are being unfolded in these last days
Calling for wholeness, that there would be nothing missing and nothing broken!
Greater and greater momentum and movement in the body today!
Yes, it is taking a turn, it is moving in the right direction, Father
Cooperation, collaboration, connection, there are open lines of communication there
Grant unto us a spirit of seeing and knowing, divine strategies for this day and for this hour
By Your mercy and by Your grace, we will accomplish the last leg of the race!
No, we will not cave in or back away, but we will take our place of authority in Christ Jesus
Strengthen each and every one of us, to finish the race, Father
Calling for increase in strength, increase in wisdom and increase in ability
Declaring for supernatural aid and assistance of and by Your Spirit, O God
Unveil, reveal and transmit the things of the spirit to us, Father
We give glory unto You, God
Praying for orders from heaven, commanding for those things to come to order in Jesus’ name!
Those things are being ordered to line up and come in line!
We declare those things not as though they were!
Yes, we will speak by faith and walk in love, Lord
Your Word is coming to pass in these last days, and our steps are ordered by You, Father
We lift up President Trump and his cabinet members, grant them wisdom and understanding
You cause their eyes to see and their ears to hear
Grant them wisdom on how to negotiate and navigate these times we are living in
They will do all that You have called them to do, Father
You have called and joined them together because of the anointings on their lives, Father
Those anointings are operative now, and they will get the job done!
We call for a supernatural restoration and recovery in Jesus’ name!
Show President Trump where to step now, Lord
Guide each and every step he takes, show him when and where!
Show him where to turn, show him which way to go, give him the words to speak, O God
Strengthen him, Lord
We ask that You would bring strength, calm, peace, and stability to this nation!
Declaring for an orderly restoration for those parts of our nation that have been hit with catastrophes
Speaking order over those parts in Jesus’ name!
Speaking peace to those multitudes in Jesus’ name!
Be at peace and be comforted in the name of Jesus!
Let peace abide in order to restore!
Calling forth execution and implementation in the correct way and all along the way
We know there is more than enough to take care of each and every person and all of their needs
Your arm is not too short to help and to provide in this time of need!
Declaring that every need would be met over and above, Lord
The church is rising up and taking her place in every way!
Every need will be supplied, physically and spiritually!
We will fulfill that great commission, to minister Your Word
Words of hope, words of life, words of healing and restoration
Give us even greater platforms to do the will of the Father
We will go about doing good, and healing all that are oppressed of the devil
Yes, we want to be Your hands and Your feet, and we will seize every opportunity, Father
Great, divine strategies are coming forth of and by Your Spirit, O God
Calling forth those things that You have kept and reserved and preserved for such a time as this
Those things will come to pass right in time and right on time!
No, we will not say that it can’t be done, no we will not say it won’t be done, we say thy will be done!
Our hearts are expectant for the joy that is set before us
Give us eyes to see the visions and the plans that You have ordained in these last days
Those things are being unfolded and revealed of and by Your Spirit, O God
No, we will not be ignorant, but You are revealing the things of the Father to us
You have called each and every one of us for such a time as this
Give us eyes to see clearly and understanding and light is flooding our hearts, Lord
There is a purpose and a plan for each and every believer
Let us fully discover that plan, for we believe and trust You for it
Calling forth those angels to go and work on our behalf
Thank You for the blood of Jesus that keeps the destroyer back today!
That blood brings light and life to our bodies, and Your Word is powerful and active!
You have called us to be beacons of light, and we will be the light in the darkness, Lord
Now is the time and this is the hour, and we will seize every opportunity to be the light!
No, we will not back down, but we will hold fast until the very end!

The following is a prayer for our nation by Pastor Lynne Hammond:
Father, in the name of Jesus, and according to your Word, we pray for those in authority in our nation. We lift up President Donald Trump, his family, his staff and cabinet members. Let Your Word cling to them and let them not depart from your plan. Strengthen them with mighty power by your Spirit to stand against wickedness, lies and deception. Guide President Trump’s decisions; let Your light shine upon his path and show him the path of reversal for every evil way. Continually surround him with godly men and women who impart wise counsel to him. Cause the way of the wicked to be set to confusion and come to nothing. Deliver us from the traps and snares the enemy has laid for us, and let the wicked be caught in their own devises and be brought to shame.
We take authority over the plots and plans of the enemy against this nation. Let prideful and lying lips be silenced in Jesus’ name. Slanderers will not be established in America. We pray for our Congress, our Supreme Court, our Military leaders and our intelligence agencies. Let the wisdom that is from above reign in this nation and be constantly speaking to our leaders. We exercise the authority you have given us to tread down all the power of the enemy. We cast down and demolish imaginations and arguments that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We bind spirits of strife and division, civil wars and tumults, spirits of hostility, lawlessness and blasphemy, and fires from hell that have burned in our cities.
We speak grace and peace over America. We pray and believe for the voice of truth, salvation, revival and restoration to be proclaimed and heard across our land. Grant unto your servants everywhere that with all boldness we may speak your Word. We pray for a mighty outpouring of your Spirit with signs, wonders and miracles. We expect the wisdom of this world that is earthly, sensual and devilish to depart and vanish until Your, mighty work in America becomes a beacon of hope for all people everywhere. We expect the voice of rejoicing to be heard in our nation for your goodness, mercy and prosperity, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
