Prayer Summary for November 24

Pastor Ray shared…

First of all I want to give you an update from France. I received a text from Pastor Marie Helen-Moulin in Nice last Sunday. She sent this report concerning the “Those That Love Israel Afternoon” event her church hosted. She said “from about 120 people last year we went up to 280. And people were so thrilled. Besides a lady deputy who came first on her own, then to represent the Mayor and then another deputy came too. The ambiance was outstanding. The first deputy said that it would be great that I could join a delegation with the Mayor next time he goes to Israel. It’s awesome! She wants to have lunch with me soon.”

What Pastor Marie said last time was that one of the deputy ladies that came, kind of on her own, was so moved… she had never witnessed anything like that ever where people came together and honored Israel. I love that because that is a door of opportunity for Pastor Marie. I mean Nice is a big city and to be invited to go with the Mayor of Nice on a trip to Israel is a big deal, first of all, for a pastor, second of all, for a Pentecostal pastor; third of all, for a woman. Hallelujah! It’s so good.

Scripture focus…

I wanted to go this morning through a portion of Psalm 37.

(1) Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness (that which is not upright or in right standing with God). (2) For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. (3) Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed. (4) Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. (5) Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass. (6) And He will make your uprightness and right standing with God go forth as the light, and your justice and right as [the shining sun of] the noonday. (7) Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass. (8) Cease from anger and forsake wrath; fret not yourself—it tends only to evildoing. (9) For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait and hope and look for the Lord [in the end] shall inherit the earth. (10) For yet a little while, and the evildoers will be no more; though you look with care where they used to be, they will not be found. (11) But the meek [in the end] shall inherit the earth and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. (12) The wicked plot against the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright in right standing with God); they gnash at them with their teeth. (13) The Lord laughs at [the wicked], for He sees that their own day [of defeat] is coming.

(18) The Lord knows the days of the upright and blameless, and their heritage will abide forever (19) They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil; and in the days of famine they shall be (20) For the Lord delights in justice and forsakes not His saints; they are preserved forever, but the offspring of the wicked [in time] shall be cut off.

(30) The mouth of the [uncompromisingly] righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks with justice. (31) The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

(34) Wait for and expect the Lord and keep and heed His way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land; [in the end] when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

(37) Mark the blameless man and behold the upright, for there is a happy end for the man of peace (38) As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together; in the end the wicked shall be cut off (39) But the salvation of the [consistently] righteous is of the Lord; He is their Refuge and secure Stronghold in the time of trouble. (40) And the Lord helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they trust and take refuge in Him.

Prayed.…

Father, You are the great Alpha and Omega
Trusting wholly in You; You meet all our needs fully today
Lifting our hands in thanksgiving to where all our help comes from

Word of the Lord came forth…

I was just right now standing here and I smelled incense like I smelled when I was a young boy. Daily we would be in the church because I was raised Catholic and I was raised in a Catholic school. And there was that scent and it just kind of… you know how a sound or a smell can take you somewhere and I was just reminded of how we as children… we wanted to serve Him. We loved Him but we didn’t know and we couldn’t know Him because we were not born again. My parents didn’t know about it then. So just standing here it seemed like I had Him remind me and remind us “I will never, ever leave you. I will never, ever let you go. Where you go, I go. Where you put your feet, I am right there with you. Even the decisions that you might make that maybe could take you this way or take you that way, I am still with you. I have anointed you. I have equipped you to do My plan, My purpose through you. So don’t quit or give up or give in or lay it down but lift it up and bring it to Me and I will make … I said I would not leave you. I said I would not leave you. I am with you today, tomorrow, for the rest of your life on this earth I am with you.

My grace is sufficient. My anointing is in you and My anointing breaks every yoke that tries to come against you. For the plan of the enemy was to derail you and get you way off course even for many to turn around and go back another way. But I have called you, I have anointed you, I have equipped you by My power, My presence, My grace. The blood of My Son has made you already one. One with Me but won – you have won because the cross changed everything on this earth and you have won. So when you worship, lift your hearts when you lift worship unto Me. And that worship brings almost a scent, a smell… the only way I can say it, concerning what I called you to do. I have called you. I have anointed you. I have equipped you. I am with you and My presence will continually stay with you. So in Me rejoice. In Me lift up your hearts. In some ways I have given you a fresh new start, (ha, ha, ha) a new start. Another start, a new beginning, a new day, a new operation, (ha, ha, ha) a new revelation, a greater responsibility through Me… My power, My presence, My strength, My joy in and through you. Hallelujah!

Closing in on some things I have called you to. Closing in on them. Watch, you cannot do it but I will do it through you.” Thank You, Father.

Scripture focus…

Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! Psalm 103:1

(1) Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great! You are clothed with honor and majesty— (2) [You are the One] Who covers Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain or a tent, (3) Who lays the beams of the upper room of His abode in the waters [above the firmament], Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind, (4) Who makes winds His messengers, flames of fire His ministers. Psalms 104:1-4

(1) O give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known His doings among the peoples! (2) Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His marvelous deeds and devoutly praise them. (3) Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek and require the Lord [as their indispensable necessity]. (4) Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength (His might and inflexibility to temptation); seek and require His face and His presence [continually] evermore. Psalm 105:1-4
