Prayer Summary for March 20

Prayed…

Father, You are the King of every king and Lord of every lord!
We are grateful that from age to age and generation to generation all will know how great You are!
Lord, we magnify You in this place and praise You, for You are faithful!
Your goodness and mercy endure forever
We are thankful that we live now in this time, that we are co-laborers with You
Each day, Your vision becomes clearer and deeper grounded in our hearts
We believe that even now there is an awakening in the Church to Your truth and Word!
All will say, “How great is our God!”

Scripture Focus…

(1) “The Lord reigns, let the peoples tremble [with reverential fear]! He sits [enthroned] above the cherubim, let the earth quake! (2) The Lord is great in Zion, and He is high above all the peoples. (3) Let them confess and praise Your great name, awesome and reverence inspiring! It is holy, and holy is He! (4) The strength of the king who loves righteousness and equity You establish in uprightness; You execute justice and righteousness in Jacob (Israel). (5) Extol the Lord our God and worship at His footstool! Holy is He! (6) Moses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel was among those who called upon His name; they called upon the Lord, and He answered them. (7) He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud; they kept His testimonies and the statutes that He gave them. (8) You answered them, O Lord our God; You were a forgiving God to them, although avenging their evildoing and wicked practices. (9) Extol the Lord our God and worship at His holy hill, for the Lord our God is holy!”
(Ps. 99 Amp.)

(1) “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you lands! (2) Serve the Lord with gladness! Come before His presence with singing! (3) Know (perceive, recognize, and understand with approval) that the Lord is God! It is He Who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]! We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. (4) Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name! (5) For the Lord is good; His mercy and loving-kindness are everlasting, His faithfulness and truth endure to all generations.”
(Ps. 100 Amp.)

(1) “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! (2) Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits— (3) Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, (4) Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; (5) Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]! (6) The Lord executes righteousness and justice [not for me only, but] for all who are oppressed. (7) He made known His ways [of righteousness and justice] to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. (8) The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and loving-kindness. (9) He will not always chide or be contending, neither will He keep His anger forever or hold a grudge. (10) He has not dealt with us after our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. (11) For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great are His mercy and loving-kindness toward those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him. (12) As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (13) As a father loves and pities his children, so the Lord loves and pities those who fear Him [with reverence, worship, and awe]. (14) For He knows our frame, He [earnestly] remembers and imprints [on His heart] that we are dust. (15) As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. (16) For the wind passes over it and it is gone, and its place shall know it no more. (17) But the mercy and loving-kindness of the Lord are from everlasting to everlasting upon those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, and His righteousness is to children’s children— (18) To such as keep His covenant [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it] and to those who [earnestly] remember His commandments to do them [imprinting them on their hearts]. (19) The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all. (20) Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His commandments, hearkening to the voice of His word. (21) Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, all you His hosts, you His ministers who do His pleasure. (22) Bless the Lord, all His works in all places of His dominion; bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul!”
(Ps. 103 Amp.)

The following excerpt is taken from John G. Lake: His Life, His Sermons, His Boldness of Faith by John G. Lake:

As He Is, So Are We in This World

I sometimes wish that I could turn the face of the believer the other way. You may observe that I very rarely turn the face of believers to the cross. The world looked to the cross until they passed it. But if they had never passed it, redemption would be no more of a reality than it was before. Redemption becomes a reality as we obtain the redemption. To obtain the fact that the Redeemer purchased it, the purpose of the Christian life. On this side of the cross we see the victory, not the suffering, not the humility, and dejection, and rejection but the VICTORY.

The other night as I lay in bed I was thinking and praying over some of the things that were passing through my mind concerning Jesus. The scripture of Revelation 1:18 came with new force to me, where Jesus, not as a humiliated Savior, but as a Kingly Conqueror, stands forth with the marvelous declaration that “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

It seems to me that in all the Word of God there is no such shout of triumph as that. Why, it seems to me as if the very heaven and the earth and all that in them rings with that exultant shout of a real Victor, “I have the keys of hell and death.” The enemies of man, taken captive by the Son of God, subject to His dictate. That is the Christ that speaks to my soul. That is the Christ on this side of Calvary. That is the Christ my soul worships.

Brother, sister, that challenge comes to us today to let God loose. There are a few places where they have let God have His way, and how the blessings have come!

“In whom we have redemption.”

I saw a picture this morning as I was reading an article. I saw a company of men walk out, and I saw all the disease and all the crimes and agonies; I saw cancers and tumors and tuberculosis: and I saw a company of men and women walk down in the midst of it, and I heard them say, “Here come the sons of God: here come the conquerors.” And the sons of God said to the disease, “In the name of Jesus, depart,” and disease fled. It fled as it did before the Son of God. It obeyed because the Son of God sent them out and gave them His name as authority. I saw the company of men enter into the lost dominion. They put upon them the garments of their authority and dominion and walked out conquerors over death and hell and the grave. They were masters. They were rulers.

That is the type of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Continued Praying…

Father, we know there are those in the body of Christ who are oppressed
We lift them up before You and release a supply of Your Spirit, strengthen and encourage them
Open their eyes to Your faithfulness, kindness, and mercy!
We pray for those who are called to assist them
Get them on the right pathway to move forward in You
Declaring they will finish their race!
Father, there are some who have grown up in the Church and have walked away
We pray they will stop jumping around and be found in the middle of Your plan
Founded and grounded on Your Word and truth!
We are looking for EVERY member to be fully satisfied in their call
Lifting up our shields of faith and calling for every member to be joined together
There is no place where they can run and hide where You cannot find them!
We are looking for those who would come to You and say, “Here am I to do Your will!”
Father, we need a change even on the level of the little ones
For them to know Who’s they are Whom they serve!
We pray for those who are called to teach the children and youth
Let them rise up with a new fire and vision, never departing from it!
For the children to be fed with the Word of eternal life
Lifting each one who’s vision has been wiped out or hidden away
Declaring that worry, fear, and doubt no longer have authority
Father, we believe for You to make the vision in the Church bright and fresh!
We release our faith for wholeness, soundness, peace, and the comfort of the Holy Ghost
Nothing missing and nothing broken—every believer receiving the revelation of Who’s they are and Whom they serve!
