Prayer Summary for March 1

Scripture Focus…

(3) “A voice of one who cries: Prepare in the wilderness the way of the Lord [clear away the obstacles]; make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God! (4) Every valley shall be lifted and filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked and uneven shall be made straight and level, and the rough places a plain. (5) And the glory (majesty and splendor) of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it. (6) A voice says, Cry [prophesy]! And I said, What shall I cry? [The voice answered, Proclaim:] All flesh is as frail as grass, and all that makes it attractive [its kindness, its goodwill, its mercy from God, its glory and comeliness, however good] is transitory, like the flower of the field. (7) The grass withers, the flower fades, when the breath of the Lord blows upon it; surely [all] the people are like grass. (8) The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.”
(Is 40:3-8 Amp.)

The following commentary on Isaiah 40:3 regarding the Tommy Hicks vision is taken from The Revival Bible:

God is going to give to the world a demonstration in this last hour such as the world has never known. These men and women are of all walks of life. Degrees will mean nothing. I saw these workers as they were going over the face of the earth. When one would seem to stumble and fall, another would come and pick him up. There was no big “I” little “you.” Every mountain was brought low and every valley was exalted, and they seemed to have one thing in common-there was a divine love that seemed to flow forth from these people as they went together, as they worked together, as they lived together. It was the theme of their lives. They continued and it seemed the days went by as I stood and beheld this sight. I could only cry-and sometimes I laughed. It was so wonderful as these people went throughout the face of the whole earth showing forth God’s power in this last end-time. -Tommy Hicks Vision

Isaiah 40:3 Prepare the way of the Lord

If you want God to come to you or you to come to Him, there is a great gulf the Bible refers to between Him and us. The way to bridge that gulf is to build a road to revival-to prepare the way for man and God to connect. The message the Baptist preached was a road-building message preparing for Jesus, the message of repentance. When we repent, it literally builds a highway from the rubble of our own life for Christ to come to us. If you really want revival, build a road to revival and it will visit you. But that road is paved with stones of repentance.

Prayed…

Father, Your  Word is like a hammer, and You have given it to us!
We know the Word says we are healed, so bodies be healed!
Every low place be filled in, leveled out, and smoothed out
Applying the blood of Jesus over the way, walk, and plan!
Making a way where there was no way!
Bringing down the spirit of the world!
Get out of our churches, families, houses, and lives!
Eyes be opened up to see really clear!
The Word perfects and moves!
And it will NOT return void
Marriages, be restored in Jesus’ name!
Every attack is burned up in the name of Jesus!
Let Your Word burn in Your people, Lord
There is a steady “pounding” and declaring of the Word
It is working inside of us!
The spoken Word will ALWAYS bring change!
Lord, we believe Your strength and Spirit assist us in all things
We believe Your Word is true!
