Prayer Summary for January 31

Prayed…

Father, we welcome You in this place, in our lives, in our homes, and in our families
Thank You, Lord Jesus, we set our sights on You today
We welcome You in this time of prayer and communion
Have Your way in and through us; coach and lead us in the way we should go
Show us, for we turn our sights toward You and we seek You, Lord
We love You with our whole heart and with all of our being, Father
Yes, we magnify and exalt You; we lift up the King of Kings and the Lord of all Lords
You are our soon coming King, our redeemer, and baptizer
Father, You are our strong tower, the one we run into!
We run to You with anticipation and expectation
You only have good things in store for us, only good things planned for us!
Yes, we celebrate Your goodness; You are good and You will do only good
We praise You, Lord; good things are breaking out and breaking through today!
God is alive and well, and He is watching over His Word and His people
Father, we delight in You and in Your presence

The following excerpt is taken from A Supernatural Prayer Life by Nancy Dufresne:

Privileges of Being Filled With the Spirit

You are a spirit, you have a soul (which is made up of your mind, your will, and your emotions), and you live in a body.

When God speaks to you, and when He guides you, He’s going to do it through your spirit. He won’t lead you through your mind, or your body, but He leads you through your spirit.

Therefore, to know His Voice and His leadings, your spirit must be developed. The believer develops his spirit through feeding and acting on the Word of God.

If your spirit is dull and insensitive to the Spirit’s leadings, it will cost you much in life, and you will imprison your spirit and sentence yourself to live a life in the natural, unable to distinguish and recognize the great dealings and movings of God.

We are not called to live natural lives, but supernatural lives.

Scripture Focus…

If then you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. (2) And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth. (3) For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.  (4) When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the splendor of His] glory.
(Colossians 3:1–4 AMPC)

So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective.
(Colossians 3:1–2 MSG)

Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied!
(Matthew 5:6 AMPC)

On the day the Passover lambs were to be sacrificed, Jesus sent for Peter and John and instructed them, “Go and prepare the Passover supper so we can eat it together.” (9) They asked him, “Where do we make the preparations to eat the meal?” (10) Jesus gave them this sign: “When you enter the city, you will find a man carrying a jug of water. Follow him home (11) and say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher told us to ask you, “Where is the room I may use to have the Passover meal with my disciples?” ’ (12)  He will then take you to a large, fully furnished upstairs room. Make the preparations for us there.” (13) They went and found everything to be exactly like Jesus had prophesied, and they prepared the Passover meal.
(Luke 22:7–13 TPT)

The text of Price’s prophecy is below:

The Coming Revival

“Of one thing we are very sure. There will be a full restoration of the apostolic gifts and the full power of Pentecost before the coming of the Lord. To the faithful few who are true to God, to the overcomers, to them that place their all upon the altar of a full consecration, God will pour out in the fullest measure the power that was given to the disciples on the day the Church was born. We believe that there will be miracles of healing, supernatural manifestations of God’s mighty power, that will break even the most calloused hearts. There will be another outpouring, this time a cloudburst of the latter rain. We not only feel it in our Spirit, but the Word of God corroborates what we feel. Be true, my friends; keep tight hold of His hand. God has some wonderful things in store for you.”

Continued Praying…

Thank You, Father, we stand in Your presence today
We humble our hearts before You, Lord
Yielding and consecrating our lives to You, we pray for the church to obey
Praying for a responsiveness in the spirit, a responsiveness to God
Help us to tune in to what the Spirit is saying now, and to tune out the distractions!
We pray for light and illumination; we pray for a spirit of wisdom and revelation
Grant the Church an upgrade in the spirit, an upgrade in the things of God
Yes, we will yield to the healing anointing, and the casting out of demons
Declaring for a furtherance in our hearts, and in our nations, Father
No, we will not stay back or withdraw, but we will lean in today
You are leading us onward and upward and into the new
There is a dawning of a new day, and the light is shining forth
Thank You for the goodness of God; Your spirit is pouring forth
We pray for a shaking now in this nation, and a shaking all across the world
Father, we will follow Your voice, and a stranger’s voice we do not hear
Thank You that You have prepared a place for us
We pray that You would work in our hearts, and we lift our eyes to You
Soften our hearts and our eyes to see and respond to You
Teach and lead us in these days to come
Speaking favor and furtherance over each and every believer today
We love and honor You, Father, for You are so faithful and good
