Prayer Summary for January 3

Prayed…

Father, we praise and magnify You
Without You, we cannot do anything
Lord, we ask for a fresh stirring of Your Spirit
That all other things would become insignificant compared to You
We love Your  presence and touch
Today, we believe, expect, and receive all that You have for us
We love everything about You
Lord, help us to walk in Your love
With You, we can keep going

Scripture Focus…

(1) “If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. (2) If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, ‘Jump,’ and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing. (3-7) If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.”

Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,
Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,”
Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.

(8-10) “Love never dies. Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit. We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about God is always incomplete. But when the Complete arrives, our incompletes will be canceled.”
(1 Cor. 13:1-10 The Message)

(11) “When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside.”
(1 Cor. 13:11 Amp.)

(12) “We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! (13) But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.”
(1 Cor. 13:12-13 The Message)

(13) “And so faith, hope, love abide [faith-conviction and belief respecting man’s relation to God and divine things; hope-joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; love-true affection for God and man, growing out of God’s love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
(1 Cor. 13:13 Amp.)

Continued Praying…

Lord, we love You and we declare we will walk in Your love
We want to see clearer
Thank You for what we see through You
We expect for things to turn out better than they were in 2012-each year getting better and better
Tuning out of man’s plans and tuning into Your plans

A Word of the Lord came forth…

When doors of opportunity open just a little bit, we must be quick to walk through, to press ahead, to take our places: if it would be a word in season, if it would be some kind of declaration, or if it would be help and strength toward others. Whatever it is, when the door opens, we must be alert enough to see it open and to walk through. For His love operating in you and in me will take us continually into a room of freedom, into a room of victory, into a room of overcoming authority and power, not in us, but in Him! Even when things look like they would not open, they will open,” saith the Lord. “Being steadfast, being sure that we walk in these ways today and in these days. That love opens, reveals, uncovers, restores, makes right, equips even in the night. Even when things are looking absolutely totally opposite as to the way we thought or think they should be, that love operating in us-His love operating through us-it’ll get us through, and it’ll get us over.”

Continued Praying…

We purpose in our hearts to move quickly with the Spirit
New ways, new openings and plans
Staying steady and never quitting
Praying over key numbers!
Declaring a turning now, that the body of Christ would go in Your way
Men and women popping up like popcorn and standing for You, Lord
Government officials taking a stand
Time is moving quickly
Lifting the whole spectrum of the body of Christ!
We encompass even the little ones
Captured and captivated by Your Spirit
Not leaving even one behind-even the white-haired ones
Flow through every part and member
A fresh outpouring and revelation of You-it is a healing oil!
Lord, we lift up the backsliders, those who don’t know Your love
There must be a revealing now
We release a supply of the Spirit for those who must come into the Father’s house
So deep, so wide, and so great is that love
All encompassing, protecting, and changing
We pray for change!
Lord, reveal and uncover it
New beginnings and fresh starts
Let Your presence saturate the offices!
Move into homes and families!
Father, we pray over the positions of authority in the Church!
We pray for leaders to not give up, but to keep moving
Each and every one touched by Your presence
We pray over America and our president
Covering all of the leaders beginning with the president in the blood of Jesus
The big picture will be carried out
You can turn things to work for Your good
Men and women all in their places
The past is finished and we have peace
Praying that we have eyes to see clearly all the things that are to come
Bridges and accesses!
Companies and people united for Your plan
Jesus, be Jesus in and through us today!
You get all of the glory, honor, and praise

Scripture Focus…

(1) “Eagerly pursue and seek to acquire [this] love [make it your aim, your great quest]; and earnestly desire and cultivate the spiritual endowments (gifts), especially that you may prophesy (interpret the divine will and purpose in inspired preaching and teaching). (2) For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].”
(1 Cor. 14:1-2 Amp.)

(57) “But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ. (58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].”
(1 Cor. 15:57-58 Amp.)

Continued Praying…

Lord, You are always making us to be more than conquerors
We are always abounding and are immovable in Your Word
We grab hold of it every day!
Lord, we pray for those who are in need of healing
We pray for wholeness and wellness!
In and through You, we are encouraged!
You get all the glory, honor, and praise!
We are continually blessed in You!
