Prayer Summary for January 27

Prayed…

Father, we continue to lifting and magnifying Your name
In Your presence, we are changed
We will keep our eyes on You and not our problems
Pleading the blood over Israel
Over positions of authority and over their borders
Wisdom and great understanding for protection
Lifting up the peace of Jerusalem
Over all the people of Israel—Your love coming through us toward them
Sensing that love today
Holding the blood over every decision and over every attack
Watching as we pray that it would go well with them
Lies be exposed in Jesus’ name
Lifting up the United States to be strong and united with Israel always
Father, we ask for a greater revelation of the cleansing power of the blood
Thank You, Lord, for the power of the blood and what You did on the Cross
For complete restoration!
More steps and more plans to be walked out
Coming up, coming up, coming up
Calling for the changes, for the signs, increase in wisdom

The following excerpt was taken from Praying That Receives Answers by E.M. Bounds

Here are Paul’s words to Timothy on prayer: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, ‘be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time … I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. (1 Timothy 2:1–6,8)

Paul illustrated the inheritance and practice of every Christian in all ages. He gave us a view of the energetic and multifaceted characteristics of prayer. Prayer comes first. It must be first in all occupations. So exacting and imperative in its significance and power is prayer that it stands first among spiritual values. He that prays not is not at all. He is nothing, less than nothing. He is below zero as far as Jesus Christ and God are concerned. How can a man’s needs be met, or those of the church or those of the country, if he does not ask of the Lord?

Paul’s teaching is that praying is the most important of all activities on earth. Everything else must be restrained, retired, to give prayer primacy. Put it first and keep it first. Defeat, not victory, lies in making prayer secondary. Making prayer subordinate is to fetter and destroy its power. If God and prayer are put first, then victory is assured. Prayer must either reign in life or must abdicate. Which will it be?

Praying is an occupation, a lifelong business to be followed with diligence, fervor, and toil. The Christian’s foremost purpose is prayer. It is his most engaging, most heavenly, most lucrative business. Prayer is a commission of such high dignity and importance that it is to be performed without ceasing. In other words, without letup or breakdown, followed assiduously, and without intermission. Prayer must cover all things, be in every place, find itself in all seasons, and embrace everything—always and everywhere.

Continued praying…

Staying filled and refilled until we overflow
Thank You, Father, for ears to hear what You are saying
Teach us to reach further in prayer
Building up the Church and every member, every supply
We need You, Holy Spirit
Moving in an even greater way—understanding
Maximum power—words that turn things
Answers in Jesus’ name
Holding fast to what You say in a more intimate way
Heavens way, heavens plans
Declaring the right words
No! We as the Church are not going in that way
We plead the blood over the way of the Lord
It will go in the right plan in Jesus’ name
Men of God—husbands and those in authority
Calling them into places of prayer, in the place You have called them every day
They must be in the office they have been called to
Hindrances be removed—they are loosed from them in Jesus’ name
Pulling out the weeds, distractions by the blood, we clear them out in Jesus’ name
Greater—taking the position and stepping right through the door
Pushing out the boundaries—an increase in momentum
Increase in influence!
Today and every day—a new song, encouragement
Walking in the power today
Bright light Church!
Every supply—unwrapped in Jesus’ name
Open, open, open to the Light, to the power!
Seven times greater! It’s restoration
Thank You, Father, that You will never leave us or forsake us
For your power actively at work within us all throughout the day, Amen
