Jerre led in worship…

♪ We give thanks to You, Lord, for You are so very, very good… And Your mercy endures forever… We give thanks to You, Lord, for you are so, so very good… And Your mercy endures forever… ♪

I was singing this song this morning while getting ready. I read the chapter it comes from and there were 26 verses of declarations of the goodness of God and then “His mercy endures forever.” So I figured 26 times in a row where it says “His mercy endures forever” is a very important scripture. Amen? So I started singing things like “Thank You for healing my son…”

♪ I give thanks to You, Lord, for You are so very good for Your mercy endures forever… I give thanks to You, Lord, for You are so very, very good and Your mercy endures forever… For You split the Red Sea, You split the rivers… You conquered the enemy… For You are the God of every God and You are the God of me… And I give thanks for Your mercy endures forever… We give thanks to You, Lord, for ever and ever… Your mercy endures forever… ♪

When you were singing that, I thought about the one thing I’m so thankful for is the grave was conquered. Jesus was raised up; that power raised Him up out of that grave!

I want to read this from the Message Bible. Mark 16:

“When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so they could embalm him. Very early on Sunday morning, as the sun rose, they went to the tomb. They worried out loud to each other, “Who will roll back the stone from the tomb for us?” 4-5 Then they looked up, saw that it had been rolled back—it was a huge stone—and walked right in. They saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed all in white. They were completely taken aback, astonished. 6-7 He said, “Don’t be afraid. I know you’re looking for Jesus the Nazarene, the One they nailed on the cross. He’s been raised up; he’s here no longer. You can see for yourselves that the place is empty. Now—on your way. Tell his disciples and Peter that he is going on ahead of you to Galilee. You’ll see him there, exactly as he said.” 8 They got out as fast as they could, beside themselves, their heads swimming. Stunned, they said nothing to anyone. 9-11 [After rising from the dead, Jesus appeared early on Sunday morning to Mary Magdalene, whom he had delivered from seven demons. She went to his former companions, now weeping and carrying on, and told them.”

There’s something about this that paints such a clear picture of what was happening. It’s like it’s in full color. It’s Sunday morning and He shows up, appears to Mary Magdalene, tells her what to do. She goes to His former companions and they’re weeping and carrying on. She told them she had met Him.

“When they heard her report that she had seen him alive and well, they didn’t believe her. 12-13 Later he appeared, but in a different form, to two of them out walking in the countryside. They went back and told the rest, but they weren’t believed either. 14-16 Still later, as the Eleven were eating supper, he appeared and took them to task most severely for their stubborn unbelief, refusing to believe those who had seen him raised up. Then he said, “Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God’s good news to one and all. Whoever believes and is baptized is saved; whoever refuses to believe is damned. 17-18 “These are some of the signs that will accompany believers: They will throw out demons in my name, they will speak in new tongues, they will take snakes in their hands, they will drink poison and not be hurt, they will lay hands on the sick and make them well.” 19-20 Then the Master Jesus, after briefing them, was taken up to heaven, and he sat down beside God in the place of honor. And the disciples went everywhere preaching, the Master working right with them, validating the Message with indisputable evidence.]”

That’s for us today. That’s what we’ve been called to do. There are whole groups of people that believe they should take up, on purpose, snakes… They “do the snake deal.” I haven’t heard whether they drink poison too. But I can see how they read this but when I read it this morning, two things. How Jesus got on their case for their unbelief, that they refused to believe after having been told by Him what was about to take place but they still were operating in unbelief. That’s the first thing that He got on their case for. Unbelief.

But then back over here with the snake deal. Remember on the way to Rome, the viper on the isle of Malta. Sandy and I went to France for a prayer conference there and I used that story about the viper. I went to the hardware store here in Maple Grove looking for a snake, not a real one. I created one by taking a thick colored rope and I put it in my bag that had my Bible and stuff in. I had that thing set up on the stage behind me. I brought it around. I shared how there’s a fire going and everybody is warming themselves. I reached in and whipped out this big long so-called snake. I had it attached to my hand. That’s the way the Word described that. It was just stuck to him. But he wasn’t moved. He didn’t even say anything about it. He just shook it off and kept moving. First they thought he was going to die. And then they wanted to worship him.

So after the meeting in France, I still had the “snake” and I took it and threw it behind me. There was a stage but the stage ended and there wasn’t a wall behind the stage. The “snake” hit the stage, slid across it, and went out of sight behind the stage. It disappeared. About Paul, Pastor Marie said, “I looked at that… whoa… it did not have an effect on the man of God.” He kept moving because he had a call to go to Rome, isn’t that right? But he didn’t even have to rebuke it. He just shook it off.

So I just wanted to put those two things together: our belief in Him and what he did. When I read that this morning how those three ladies went into the tomb, it just kind of got me when the young man said, “He’s not here. He’s risen from the dead and He’s gone ahead of you into Galilee and He’ll meet you there.” Just like He said He would do.

So while we’re praying we declare what He did, what He said, it shall come to pass. If we get attacked by whatever, we know we have the victory. He said to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. That’s what the disciples did when they went out. He worked with them. He’s working with us. Thank God we’re not here alone trying to work it all out. He’s the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is our help. He is our strength. He is our overcoming power. That power that raised Him up is in us. The same power. When we reach an impasse, we can go through it because He already went through it. When we reach a blockage coming against our plans, we know He’s already done it on Calvary. When He was raised up, He demonstrated to us that we’ve been raised up with Him.

Jerre, when you were singing all the things we can be thankful for, one of the biggest things is that He went all the way to the end, went all the way to the end. Even went into the grave, but He was raised up just like He said He would be.

Jerre, when you started singing about our nation, I had that come up how today at the United Nations (which is so easy to say negative things about it.) But you were singing about His mercy and there will be more representatives today at the United Nations than ever. All different nations. I want us to lift that up in prayer and pray for the presence of God to be there. Through the Pope when he delivers what he delivers, let’s agree there will be utterance by the Holy Spirit. Maybe he won’t even say it but they’ll receive what needs to be received and there will be changes. Things will change in the United Nations. There has to be a reason that, that building is even here on this soil. And they’ve all come to this nation. I don’t know how to pray about that other than to pray in the Spirit…

Prayed…

Putting an end to some things and opening up the door for more
For a Holy Ghost touch, for the presence of the Holy Spirit in that place
We pray over the atmosphere in Jesus’ name
Your mercy today, Father
Turning and changing and rearranging

Dave prayed…

Father, we lift up the United Nations. Many have let that thing go and gave up on it. Many have put it to the side, but, Father, we lift it up. We look not for the men and women that are within the United Nations. We look for You, Father, within those people in the United Nations. We look for You, not for some man to save us, not for some system to save us. We look for You, Father, for Your grace on the lips of that man that will minister to them today. We look for Your grace in the hearts of those that are there today. The believers and the unbelievers, God. The ones standing by wondering what are we going to do and how are we going to fix the problems, Father, we look to You for the answers to fix those problems, to get into agreement and in one mind, to do the right things in this earth, so we can move as one instead of divided amongst each other. No division, in Jesus’ name. We plead the blood of Jesus upon those people in the meeting rooms.

Continued praying…

It’s time for change there.
It’s time for that thing to turn in Jesus’ name
Organization to turn in the name of Jesus
It’s time to turn in Jesus’ name
Change, change—come in line
Anointed words, appointed words, the anointing flowing from your man
Bringing deliverance, bringing change of mind, and change of heart
And carrying that anointing to their nations
This is the time—You brought them to this nation, Father
You could impart to them Your glory, Your Word, Your anointing
We lift it up—move in that place and in those people
Walk among them
Move by Your Spirit
Change the face of the nations
Father, let that be a point of light that is transferred forth
We are one nation under God and when you step upon this soil, you will receive that anointing and you will receive that power and carry it wherever you go in Jesus’ name
We declare that the soil of this nation is anointed and appointed and separated unto God
Don’t think that you will come into the borders of this nation and not be changed by the power of God
Whoever enters our shores that Your glory would fall upon them
That they would be changed, transformed—spirit, soul, and body
A sheep nation, a sheep nation
No delay, no delay—the power of God is in you
The anointing of God is in you—be not discouraged—don’t be dismayed—don’t be moved by what you see, for the anointing will destroy every yoke, every yoke of bondage. Everything in your pathway, the power of God is in you and you shall speak to that thing and it will be moved.
Restored, restoration
Turning—we say “turn!”
Even impossibilities—we can’t make it but it’s been done cuz the battle has been won and the victory given
Hindrances, be thrown away and disappear
Breakthroughs!
A religious spirit, Father, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof
We come against it right now
Spirit of religion, you come down in Jesus’ name, get out of the Church
We will have the fullness of His power—not a form
Now, now! Darkness, leave! Blindness, leave in the name of Jesus!
Pastors, eyes be opened and blinders be removed
Board members, blinders be lifted, hearts be unburdened by that darkness in Jesus’ name
Spirit of confusion, be removed
We call forth the spirit of cooperation and a spirit of peace and unity
We are a mighty force
We pray for divine utterance for Sister Billye this weekend
Declarations, words from another place, from heaven
Words that will be received with great clarity
No confusion but will bring revelation about the times we’re living in

I saw something in the spirit while we were praying. I saw the globe of the earth. It was as if I was seeing it through God’s eyes, looking down on the globe. On the globe were fires, but they weren’t the fire of God. The peaceful spots were peaceful looking but the fire on the earth were those places where the truth of God was not manifest. I started to weep. He was showing me what I thought was victory in battle was wrong. But it was victory in the love of His Spirit and in the love of God. That is our victory. And when that love comes, it says it fulfills all the law and the prophets. When that loves comes unto those fires of hatred, it changes things and it is the victory. So I saw Him in a different way today, but still in the way of truth, the Word of God and righteousness. That scepter of righteousness is the scepter of the love of God, the truth of God, and it brings every kindred and every tongue into unity.

Father, we desire that with all our heart and soul and strength. That Your love would be so manifest on the face of this earth, Lord, the truth of Your love that mankind could stand together in unity. We know, Father, from Your Word that You will fulfill it. And until that times comes, we will stay and pray and declare and take the fires of the enemy and speak Your precious powerful Word into those places. We thank You for the ability and the wisdom and the knowledge and the leading of the Holy Ghost to be able to pray accurately there. In Jesus’ name.

Dave shared…

I just heard in my heart the word of the Lord and it is “contending.” Contending for this place. This place where revelation flows. This place where the Word of God is known. This place where we see the changes in the earth in the body in the Church. For the Lord has called a group of contenders, those with the fire inside of them that He’s put to burn in this earth. And they are like beacons in the earth and we are to go out and take that light and contend for it. When it seems like darkness is prevailing, when it seems like things are going down, we can’t look at those things. We can’t pay attention to those things. We need to pay attention to what is inside. There is more than enough to overcome the darkness. For where sin abounds, grace much more abounds. So take the light that is within you and don’t sit down with that light but stand up and put yourself in those places where the Lord leads you, whether it’s in a service, whether it’s in a place where you’re meeting with brethren, whether it’s in a prayer group, don’t look at it as something you’re going to get. Look at it as something you’re bringing. It is that fire within you that will light this world on fire. It’ll bring it to a place of decision where the light will be light and the dark will be dark and the great chasm, the divide between the two will become greater. And revival will sweep the earth through the nations and then the end will come. Then the end will come. So hold your candle, your light. It’s a great light. Hold that light as a precious light and don’t sit down and hide it under a bush but take it forth into all the earth. And we will see the nations change. We will see the UN change. We will see the offices in this nation change. We will see all these things change. For they won’t come from without. They’ll come from within… within the hearts of My people in this earth.

Jerre, can we sing the song “This little light of mine.”

Jerre shared…

In Children’s Church, we changed the words to “This blowtorch of mine” because our lights aren’t little.

Pastor Ray concluded…

Thank you so much for coming today. Remember this. Brother Dave said we just don’t come to “get” but we come it “give.” God bless you.
