Jerre led in worship…

Pastor Ray shared…

Sometimes there will be something in the Word that will jump off the page. It’s Him revealing something. It could be just one word and it does something to us. This morning I read 1st Corinthians 13, in the Message Bible, I printed it off and read verse 7 or so. You know how it says, “Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self.” I always see that like okay, God’s love through me, I never give up, I care more for others than I do for myself. While you were singing that, I started to see Him. He never gives up. His love never ever gives up. He doesn’t give up! We can mess up, but He doesn’t give up. I’m so thankful.

Listen to these:

Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. Love doesn’t strut. Doesn’t have a swelled head. Doesn’t force itself on others. Isn’t always “me first.” Doesn’t fly off the handle. Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others. Doesn’t revel when others grovel. Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth. Puts up with anything. Trusts God always. Always looks for the best. Never looks back. But keeps going to the end. But never dies.

His love through us, for sure, but His love for us never dies. He never gives up. He never quits. He’s never about Himself. He’s always about us. His love. I like where it says love always looks for the best. That’s how He is. His love is so good. It’s comforting to know. He sent His Son to the cross for us.

I was reminded this morning of a time that I was sleeping on the couch in the living room. It was quiet. Nobody was there, not even my cat to bother me. I was sleeping and then all of a sudden, I opened my eyes and the room was thick with His love. It was either Jesus Himself or the Holy Spirit or an angel, I don’t know. But it was as if I awoke in heaven. There was nothing negative. Nothing dark. It was as pure. The love was so thick it was like I could almost cut it with a knife. The atmosphere was different than what we experience here on earth. I know that I got dipped into what heaven will be like when we step across the gates. And everything is bright. I can’t describe it with the words that I have, but it was written in the tablet of my heart. Words cannot describe the heights and depths and width and breadth of the love of God.

I want us to lift up laborers, those that would be ministered to by His love through a brother or a sister. I became more aware of how much He loves all creation. Let’s pray for the ones that are lost or ones that have not even heard, but then, too, those that have heard and have gone against the Lord, spoken against Him, maybe cursed Him. He loves them too. Let’s pray over the lost and the dying in this world.

Prayed…

We pray for these, for the lost
That Your love would flow to them
We know You’re the way maker
We pray for our enemies… we pray for those that have despitefully used us, Father… We lift them up in the love of the Spirit… We’re to love them and so we pray for them…
Devil, you take your blinders off of those precious people in Jesus’ name
The blood of the Lamb is against you
Multitudes, eyes to see
We pray over their eyes and ears
Turning the hearts… to the light
Multitudes, thousands and thousands
Turn, turn, turn
No more deception in Jesus’ name
Touch them… coming to the light
Fresh revelation of Your love
Whatever is necessary… dreams, visions, words from heaven
Open up the ways!
Messengers to the camps
Supernaturally getting in and getting out
Translated into the camps
Open, open, open, open

I hear “a dam has opened.” It is open. It is open. It will bring access and light.
The word coming thru that dam
A deluge of the love of God
