This morning, I turned on the news and it made me sick. If you hadn’t heard, there was an attack against the police in Dallas. At least five officers are dead. More were injured but it was an absolute attack against the police. It made me think of Isaiah 59:19. It says as the result of the Messiah’s intervention they shall reverently fear the name of the Lord from the west in His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight for he will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives. In the Message Bible it’s a little different. In the west, they’ll fear the name of God. In the east, they’ll fear the glory of God. For He’ll arrive like a river in flood stage whipped to a torrent by the wind of God. I like that version. He’s not coming back against the enemy with just a little rushing stream. It’s a river at flood stage, whipped into a torrent by the wind of God.
There are so many things happening that are Devil related. Of course, we’re told in the Word we don’t come against people. Our battle is not with people. Our battle is with the Devil. We’ve overcome him by the blood and the word of our testimony and the Word of God. It also reminded me of when the Devil came against Jesus in Luke 4:1, the big battle for forty days in the wilderness.
1 “Then Jesus, full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led in [by] the [Holy] Spirit 2 For (during) forty days in the wilderness (desert), where He was tempted (tried, tested exceedingly) by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and when they were completed, He was hungry. 3 Then the devil said to Him, If You are the Son of God, order this stone to turn into a loaf [of bread]. 4 And Jesus replied to him, It is written, Man shall not live and be sustained by (on) bread alone but by every word and expression of God. 5 Then the devil took Him up to a high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the habitable world in a moment of time [in the twinkling of an eye]. 6 And he said to Him, To You I will give all this power and authority and their glory (all their magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, and grace), for it has been turned over to me, and I give it to whomever I will. 7 Therefore if You will do homage to and worship me [just once], it shall all be Yours. 8 And Jesus replied to him, Get behind Me, Satan! It is written, You shall do homage to and worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve. 9 Then he took Him to Jerusalem and set Him on a gable of the temple, and said to Him, If You are the Son of God, cast Yourself down from here; 10 For it is written, He will give His angels charge over you to guard and watch over you closely and carefully; 11 And on their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. 12 And Jesus replied to him, [The Scripture] says, You shall not tempt (try, test exceedingly) the Lord your God. 13 And when the devil had ended every [the complete cycle of] temptation, he [temporarily] left Him [that is, stood off from Him] until another more opportune and favorable time. 14 Then Jesus went back full of and under the power of the [Holy] Spirit into Galilee, and the fame of Him spread through the whole region round about.”
I like this because Jesus quoted the Word to Satan. He kept responding with the Word. He came back from that attack stronger, full of the Holy Ghost, and with power. The fame of Him went out even further. We’ve been given the authority from heaven and that authority is within us. We have the authority to use what we’ve been given against the enemy. Whatever kind of an attack it is, we come against the attacker, the one that’s coming against us or against the church or our families or our pastor or the body of Christ worldwide, the plan and purpose of God. What is that plan? That every man, woman, and child would be saved.
I saw a picture on line this morning that showed a man of God with all of the armor, the sword, and he had the Bible bonking the head of the Devil, defeating him with the Word. The enemy isn’t people. It’s the Devil that is operating through people.
Prayer…
Father, we thank You for Your Word. Your Word always works. We were saved through Your Word and by the power of Your Holy Spirit, we have overcome. We’ve overcome by the blood that was shed on the cross at Calvary. Jesus’ blood was shed for us. So we push back this morning as we’re reminded of what You said here in Isaiah that whenever the enemy comes against the plan, Your standard is lifted up. That standard is victory. We lift up Your Word like a banner. The name of Jesus is above every other name. We magnify the name of Jesus.
We declare that Jesus is Lord over the United States … Jesus is Lord!
Every knee will bow to the name that’s above every other name
No weapon from the enemy can prosper
We take authority over the deception from the enemy … over lies
We declare they shall be uncovered and revealed for what they are … every hidden thing be revealed
We pray over the families that lost a loved one and those that are still in the hospital
We cover them with the blood and we send a supply of Your peace over them
We pray restoration for them
We agree that Your standard would be lifted up
We pray over Minnesota—our governor that his eyes would be opened up and that he would understand the truth
This is our state and we pray over all authority and we’ll not have what took place
No weapon formed against us will prosper, no matter where we live in this state
The blood of Jesus extinguishes every uprising, all anger
We hold the blood against those people that would try to rise up and cause confusion and try to bring darkness
We command you to go in Jesus’ name
We command fear to leave on every side
We command fear to go from the police, from the citizens
We receive peace in this state of Minnesota and in the United States
The blood of Jesus is against you—you will not rise up
We call you down in Jesus name—we call you to an end right now
You will not rise up in Jesus’ name
We pour in the oil and the wine to every wound, so healing comes in the name of Jesus to the population
Healing comes to their minds and their souls
That fire is extinguished in the name of Jesus Christ
We resist you… we will not allow you to rise up here in the name of Jesus
Disperse! In Jesus’ name
This land, a land of Your glory and grace, a pouring out of Your Spirit
Begin to move, Lord… Activate Your people, Father God, move them through the crowds
That they would instill peace into the population
Your comfort and goodness to the people
Flow in this land
We’re not going back to the 60’s anarchy… we resist that in the name of Jesus
Leaders, we plead the blood over you… you make the right decisions… wisdom to leadership… right choices
Corruption, go! get out! No more deception… but truth, truth!
We hold the blood against rebellion… you cannot operate in this nation… every form, get out!
A turn, a shift, a change in the right way, a turnaround
We take our place in the first line of defense… we hold that line in Jesus’ name… we push the enemy back and out of the way
You’re getting out of the Church, out of our government, out of our nations
We hold the line and the standard and we will not let you pass in Jesus’ name… with the anointing
We take authority over any form of riot in Jesus’ name… that shall not come forth…
We declare “No!” to riots in Jesus’ name… stop in your maneuvers… desist in your plans … you’re defeated
We’re taking back our land in Jesus’ name… we’re walking all over this land
We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord of this nation…
All the media, we take it back…
Angels, angels… ministering spirits, you come and help… We dispatch you to every border, every city
Come help! Come over here!
You encompass round about those places… it’s time to see the power of God, the anointing of God, Your glory revealed to the earth, Your signs and wonders, delivering this nation
We’re not limited to our ability… we are unlimited in You!
It’s time for the flood to come, to cleanse and purity
If not now, when, Father? It is necessary. We require it, Father God. You said whatever we ask, You would do it. We ask You to send a supply in Jesus’ name. Pour out Your Spirit again! Let the flood waters come up and break forth in Jesus’ name. Let the Spirit alive on the inside of Your people flow out like a river…
For such a time as this… for the ages to come… it’s now, Lord, it’s now!
This is the time… we are the people…
We’re not waiting for anyone else… we’re taking hold… Your body now… the oldest to the youngest
We penetrate the darkness and destroy every wicked thing
This is one nation under God and we declare it to be so… it will be that way and no other
Jesus Christ will be glorified here and no other god will rise up here, no other name will be exalted here in Jesus’ name
Great things are coming… the enemy knows that great things are coming… they’re right around the corner
We hold fast to that truth, Lord… the enemy is doing everything he can to distract the body of Christ and the nation
But we know Your Word is truth and You are moving even now… You’re bringing Your Word to pass…
Body, operate now in the earth… do your work, in Jesus’ name…
We plead the blood of Jesus over Brussels… that darkness that’s trying to rise up there… we come against you in the name of Jesus… Brussels, you bow to the name of Jesus… Darkness, you back out in the name of Jesus Christ… we declare that there will be a revival there in Jesus’ name… it’s coming to you! We declare you, Brussels… I don’t care what anyone has said but we declare today that the anointing of God is flowing in that place… the power of God is moving in that place… the people there are being changed by the power and anointing of God… And that city shall be saved! In Jesus’ name.
There is not one place that cannot be saved… For the glory of God can reach and the anointing of God can flow to any place if you just ask… He will move if you declare a thing, He will cause it to be… do not be moved by the circumstances… do not be moved by evil words… you declare that thing to be and it shall be so in Jesus’ name… for the heart of the Father is for the people… and His will is that not one would be lost in any city or any nation… but that all would receive the truth…
Thank You, Father, for Your goodness and grace that Your heart is turned toward every one
We bow our hearts before You and thank You that You’re doing a great and mighty work
We will not be moved… we block out the darkness of the enemy and we open our eyes to the light and truth of the Gospel
