All the changes we see taking place, to me, it’s like a reflection of some things that are happening and will be happening spiritually speaking in this church. Getting ready for change!
I was reading in Matthew 4:10 in the Amplified. This is Jesus speaking. “Then Jesus was led (guided) by the [Holy] Spirit into the wilderness (desert) to be tempted (tested and tried) by the devil. 2 And He went without food for forty days and forty nights, and later He was hungry. 3 And the tempter came and said to Him, If You are God’s Son, command these stones to be made [loaves of] bread. 4 But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.”
The Word. He’s talking about the Word.
5 “Then the devil took Him into the holy city and placed Him on a turret (pinnacle, gable) of the temple sanctuary. 6 And he said to Him, If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, He will give His angels charge over you, and they will bear you up on their hands, lest you strike your foot against a stone.”
He’s quoting Psalm 91. I guess the devil thought he was try the Word.
7 “Jesus said to him, On the other hand, it is written also, You shall not tempt, test thoroughly, or try exceedingly the Lord your God.”
Jesus is quoting from Deuteronomy.
8 “Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory (the splendor, magnificence, preeminence, and excellence) of them. 9 And he said to Him, These things, all taken together, I will give You, if You will prostrate Yourself before me and do homage and worship me. 10 Then Jesus said to him, Be gone, Satan! For it has been written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him alone shall you serve.”
That’s also in Deuteronomy 6:13. I love the way the Message says it. Jesus’ refusal was curt. Beat it, Satan! Don’t you like that? Beat it! He backed His rebuke with the third quotation from Deuteronomy. Worship the Lord your God and only Him. Serve Him with absolute single heartedness.” I love that. So not only did He just tell him to leave, to beat it, but He quoted again from Deuteronomy. What we’re to do is worship the Lord our God and only Him and serve Him with absolute single heartedness. Just keep on doing what we know to do, what we’ve been called to do. I like also that in the same way that He did then, we do it today. We use His name and we can tell the Devil and we watch over our plans over what God has called us to do individually and what He’s called us to do as a church. And we’ve been calling and speaking and declaring and praying change in every arena. Be it for us, be it for our church, be it for “the” Church, the body of Christ, our cities, our state, and our nation. And we have the right and the authority and the name that’s above all names.
I like right after that, when Jesus told the Devil to beat it, what did he do? He departed. He left. It’s the same thing today.
Prayed…
Father, thank You that You’ve given us the authority.
We recognize the authority You’ve given us…it’s bigger than us and beyond us and it’s more powerful that we are
I love it, Lord, that you quoted from Deuteronomy that it’s not by bread alone but by Your Word
Thank You for the written word and the words You’ve spoken to each of us
Wherever those things that are taking place in America that are coming against the Word and Your will and purpose, we declare “get out, be gone” or in other words “beat it.”
Get out! In Jesus’ name
A new strength… more power to do what You’re calling us to do
Not man’s ways and man’s plans
We get into agreement for more change… greater change… it’s not stopping now… it’ll never stop
Change is God’s will for the church in these hours
We open ourselves to it… change in us… change in our churches… in our state… in our nation
New uncharted territories… new steps… new authority… greater responsibility
Entering into a realm of greater resources… we receive them… we receive abundance
Greater measure… we call for more… to receive more
Time to take it… receive it…declare it beyond what we can think or imagine
A continual change… a moving… advancements
Better than it ever was… so what we see on the outside, sometimes it’s a sign of what is to come on the inside
Or we could say, where we might sense a change on the inside, it’ll bring about a change on the outside
Bottom line is, change in every arena!
We’re not moving away from His Word… we stand strong on that foundation in Jesus’ name
An enablement to fulfill what You’ve called us to do
Your Word will come to pass… to completion by the power of the Holy Ghost… let us go to the other side… You said that we would go and we will come to completion… Because of Your power and strength and the blood of Christ, we make it to the other side… complete our course… walking in the fullness of His grace… we see the miracles, the manifestations of His goodness and grace… for the way has been made to make it through… every storm that comes will be stilled… No storm can stand against us… no storm can stand against this nation… we declare that this company that every member will complete his course in victory and power and dominion… for You’re putting on a show… and You’re going to show Yourself strong… all the way to the other side… the glory of God shall be seen in all the earth… it shall be seen upon His people… it’s a manifested glory… it’s a sign, a wonder… it’s that financial provision and excess… coming to the body of Christ … to declare and display His glory in the earth… the breakthrough has been declared for so many years… this is the time and the hour… this generation will not pass away without seeing that promise in the earth… that inversion… it’s turning… stretch forth your hand and partake… angels, angels… He makes that grace to come to you… to the body of Christ… that healing grace…that financial grace… all grace abounds to the body now… operations… it’s time for operations of the Spirit… inside and outside… opportunities… He made a way and we will operate in it… we embrace it… wide open… we shout with the voice of triumph… He has given us the city… change, change, change… for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but they are mighty… to the pulling down of strongholds today… over this city, in Jesus’ name, you will not operate in our city… spirit of destruction, spirit of division, you will not operate here… we will not allow you… darkness has to go in Jesus’ name… for He has given it to us… we possess it in the name of Jesus… great influence… yup, yup, we’re expanding out in the name… we’re taking it all the way around… we’re expanding out… we’re stepping out and we’re expanding beyond…
The momentum… it’s like a deluge… a tsunami… the power of the Holy Ghost… bringing them up and in and forth…out of the dark and into the light…
In the name of Jesus, we mobilize and we activate every member of the body of Christ in this city today… we call you into your places so you can affect those around you… step out to speak boldly and proclaim the truth… glorify God with your testimony… angels, go forth… move through those communities… it’s late! It’s late! It’s time to come in… cooperate with the Spirit… we cast that wide net out today… it will not return to us without it being filled to capacity…
We lift up those next steps, Lord… the steps… You’ll show us… we’re moving straight on Your way in Your plans… rise up, body, in Jesus’ name… we pray for the positions of authority for utterance… to lead the masses… it’s a press…
We pray over Israel… we cover the land of Israel… positions of authority … Netanyahu and all those with him… for everyone in the military… not once inch of soil will be given up… we pray for the peace of Jerusalem.. we bless their finances… we bless their hands…
Today, decisions made in Wash. DC would line up with Your plan and will…we pray for a United States of America… we hold the blood against division… those that work their ways against God’s plans, we hold the blood of Jesus against those wrong plans…
We are united for God’s plan… carried out in the name of Jesus… Father, we ask that You would remove anyone that hinders Your plan… get them out of the way and remove them… replace them with the right person… even now You’re working and moving… because of that… appointments… we call for appointments… no more of that wishy washy, noncommittal… a strong commitment… take it, take that stand… stand up in the face of the enemy… be strong in the Lord… we send a supply of the Spirit today… we send assistance by the Holy Spirit to you… thank You, Father, for wisdom and understanding… they’re yielding to You… they’re hearing Your voice and Your instruction… they’re receiving it… for in the end, You will receive the glory and acknowledgement… every shady deal or thing that’s going on, we come against you in the name of Jesus… we call you out and come to an end… dissolve in the name of Jesus… come to nothing…
Seems like the enemy has overplayed his hand and it’s coming to light… with greater numbers than ever before… seeing what the enemy has had in store… what he has been planning all along… he’s overplayed his hands so that more and more people, men and women that vote in the United States, their eyes and ears are opened up… to see what the plan of the enemy to bring forth and to loose in this nation… thank You for the winds of Your Spirit that will blow through this nation once again… thank You again for what You said through Your servants in years past that Your glory would be manifest here in the northern part of this nation… it would begin up here where 35W in that area and the river… it would begin up here in the northern part and it would be a great revival and it would begin to move south and out in every direction as it goes down… for it’s time, Lord… we believe it’s the hour and the time… we hold fast to Your words and we remind You of what You said through Your servants, Lord… the former and latter rain would be poured out together and be greater than ever was… the souls would come in by the droves… we pray over the increase of laborers… that prayer would become dominant in the body… prayer on the front burner… hot and holy prayer… it’s not too late… it’ll be right on time…
Broken things will be restored… things that have not been right… restored in Jesus’ name… inside, outside, all around…
