Prayer Summary for Friday, January 09, 2015

Morning Prayer began with prayer for France as they go through the terror attack on the offices of the Charlie Hebdo newspaper.

Jerre Shared…

As I was seeking the Lord today for a song to sing, I found in a pile of papers this word from the Lord that He had given me. The word was born out of a prayer that I had asked the Lord: “What should our prayers look like in this day and hour? And what should they sound like?” We don’t want to pray out of our own minds but we want to by the Spirit of God. So I prayed that prayer, and one day I was reading the Word and the words “And this I pray” jumped out at me. It was like if you could feel your spirit man sit up inside you. “And this I pray…” I went, “That’s it! This is it!” This teaching came from the Holy Ghost because of a heart cry. I wrote it down and then never did anything with it, until today when I was on my way here. When I read through it, it aligns with what we were praying about France today. We’ve been taught and trained to pray in the Spirit and to follow Him in prayer. But the foundation of the Word must be there. We don’t want to get too much Spirit and not enough Word. We need the Word and the Spirit to agree so we can pray right. I said all that to say this. “And this I pray, I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.” So this is a thing that we pray. We thank our God when we remember. We thank God for the people in France that are standing on the Word and we plead the blood of Jesus over them. “On every remembrance, always and every prayer of mine making requests for you all…” For them? How? “with joy.” So we can’t have a fear-filled prayer. We need to have the joy-filled prayer, because that’s what He said. This is the Word: “making requests with joy for their fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now being confident of this very thing that He that began a good work in them will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” And we rejoice, Father, that your blood is enough for them, that You protect them and keep them in Jesus’ name. “Just as it is right for me to think this of you all because I have you in my heart…” We have them in our hearts. We have the people who preach the Gospel in our hearts, just like Paul did. “Insomuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you are all partakers with me of grace…” So they are partakers of us with grace. “And we long for them with the affection of Christ…” So we have this affection in us. We have an affection for them. God has planted that in us for them. And then, “and this I pray that your love may abound more and more in all knowledge and discernment.” I pray that for them and for all of us. Our love would abound more and more in all knowledge and all discernment. Remember this is a prayer. This isn’t just the Word. This is a prayer: “that our love would abound more and more that we may approve the things that are excellent.” So the people over there that are dealing with this, there are people in authority, we just pray that they would approve everything that is excellent and “that we would be sincere and without offense until the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, that they would be filled with the fruits of righteousness even in the day of darkness.” Filled with the fruits of righteousness. Just like when they were in the dungeon. That’s the same thing for us. Our praise life must be tuned up and turned on, amen? In 2nd Corinthians 10:1–6, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds.” There is a stronghold. I just think it’s a murdering spirit. You can call it what you want, but it is a stronghold there in the minds of those people. “Casting down arguments and every high thing which exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity.” There are some things and some people and some ideas that are exalting themselves against the knowledge of God. Is God murder or is He love? Does He make alive or does He kill? So those are the things we battle. A gentleman by the name of Lauren Cunningham from Youth With a Mission said, “According to Ephesians 6:12, how do we go about reclaiming areas of influence in any nation? We take back territory from Satan from the place of prayer…” There it is. “With the power of the Holy Spirit through the mighty weapons of spiritual warfare listed in Ephesians 6:10–20, 2 Cor. 10:1–6, James 4:7–10 we are told how to pull down demonic strongholds. We must pray against enemy influence in every area we come aware of, pulling down those strongholds.” Praying is a very powerful part of the spiritual warfare we enter into to recapture this world for Jesus Christ. We have to be wise as serpents and harmless as a dove. The devil is nondenominational, so to speak. He’ll step into any cloak to kill, steal, and destroy. And he stepped into a cloak there. So we remember the principalities and the powers. We don’t wrestle with flesh and blood, but against the principalities and the powers and the rulers of the darkness of this age, the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. There are spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places, but the battle is the Lord’s. But we have to know how to pray and what to pray and to listen to the Spirit of God and to know that we have His ability. And remember, we can’t forget that joy that He talked about, because if that joy isn’t there, then we’ve entered into the fear of the moment or of the situation. We bind the strong man in Mark 3:27 and “This I pray, therefore, I also as I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the Father may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of their understanding being enlightened, that you would know what is the hope of His calling…” When you’re in a battle, you’ve got to know the hope of His calling. “What are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, the riches of His glory…” peace and tranquility and love. And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places far above all principalities and power and might.” That’s what we have. We need to know this is the hope of our calling. “Far above all principalities and power and might, every name that is named not only in this age but also in the age to come. And he put all things under His feet and give Him to be the head over all things to the Church which is his body the fullness of him that fills all in all. Now the course of this world is according to the prince of the power of this air, but from the Holy Spirit’s viewpoint, greater works, those in the heavenlies because of resurrection power that’s inside of us in the seating of Christ in the heavenlies, we have that. We stir up that gift on the inside of us. When I asked the Lord, “What should our prayers look and sound like?” He said “Remember to appropriate the blood because the devil doesn’t like that we are a force in the heavenlies.” Then in Ephesians 5:3, “To the intent…” when I read the word “intent,” it stirred something in me. The intent of God. And that was powerful to me. God has an intent and I don’t know it yet, so I’m going to read and find out what His intent is. “To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places according to the eternal purpose.” And that jumped out at me. He has an intent and eternal purpose. And that’s what we need to be walking in: God’s intent which is the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the Church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places. This is what we do when we pray. This is really the gut or foundation, the nucleus of prayer. To the intent that the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the Church—that’s us—to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places according to the eternal purpose which was accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord… that’s an intent. If we don’t have this in us, the Word and the Spirit, we’re not going to pray as powerfully as we need to be praying. So for this reason He said, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ… We need to bow our knees once in a while. Don’t just come and sit in a pew. There is something that’s broken when you bow your knees. It’s like you are bowing yourself before Him. “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you according to the riches of His glory to be strengthened with might…” This is a prayer. This is something we can pray. We pray today that Marie Helene and everyone that’s associated with the situation in France and all those in authority would be strengthened with might through Your Spirit, Lord, in the inner man that Christ would dwell in their hearts through faith, that they would be rooted and grounded in love and may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width, the height, and to know the love of Christ which far surpasses knowledge that you would be filled with all the fullness of God. People will talk differently and walk differently and declare differently.

John G. Lake prophesied this. He said “Somebody is going to be born a son of God and be baptized in the Holy Spirit where Jesus is today in the throne consciousness of Christ where they can say like Jesus said, where they can feel like Jesus feels. I am He that liveth and was dead and behold I am alive forevermore and have the keys of hell and of death. (Rev. 1:8) Absolute, overcoming consciousness. There are degrees in God in the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Some people are born way down weeping at the foot of the cross and they are still weeping over their sins. And then he talked about Sister Etter was born away in the blessed dominion of God with resurrection power. All power is given and is in our soul, so we need to be born again in a deeper place, have knowledge of who we are in Christ—the cross and then the resurrection power and dominion… all of it. God is calling us to a holier consecration, a higher place in God, a wondrous baptism, a candidate for a new baptism that comes out in the heart of the glorified Christ. He prophesied about a new baptism. I think that’s revival. Sometimes we just get baptized afresh and deeper, but he called it a new baptism that comes out of the heart of the glorified Christ in the lightnings of God, everlasting, overcoming on the throne with Jesus. That experience will make the sons of God in this world. That is the reason they will take the world for Jesus Christ and the kingdom will be established. The government upon Jesus’ shoulders. He’s prophesying such a forerunner of that. And we pray for the government to be upon the shoulders of Jesus in France and the United States, all the way around. He will make you reign in dominion over sin instead of being dominated by the powers of evil and darkness.” That was tongues and interpretation in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1913.

Continued Praying…

We have faith in Your mercy, Lord, Your grace abounds to us in wisdom and prudence
Father, we need to be filled like never before
Your people need to be filled like never before, deeper and deeper
As the darkness gets darker, our baptisms and our experiences with you need to become lighter and lighter and lighter
We cry for this earth, Father
Fill Your people like never before
Open our eyes, the eyes of our understanding, Lord
We’ve got to know and see it and apprehend it
It has to be You, Lord
Birth in Your people power and dominion, Lord
You said You gave it to us, Lord; it is resident on the inside of it
It must come out and be manifest
We’re stepping into it
Every spiritual blessing is on the inside of us
We pray for that boldness, Father, where the demons tremble at the name of Jesus
Activity by the Holy Spirit
Clear it out, in Jesus’ name
Turn around in the authority of that name Jesus
They are laborers and they will step out and step up
They are covered in the blood
Supernatural deliverance
We stay in our seat in heavenly places and stay strong in You, Father
We bow our lives to You; we trust in You, the King of Kings, the great I Am
We ask You, Father, for supernatural inroads, supernatural visitations, great turning of nations
We ask for it, Father, from nation to nation to nation all over the earth
New births everywhere
We thank You for the angelic armies all over the earth
You can turn a nation in one day, Lord
Open their eyes, O Lord
We lift up the Church, the body of Christ

Jerre Shared…

I heard this in my spirit, “That the body of Christ would truly be the body of Christ.” I see that we need to, at least I do, when I say the body of Christ, I see the body of Christ. But when we say “body of Christ” we truly see it and we mean it and we know and have revelation that the body of Christ is the fullness of the body of Christ and to declare it that way.
