Jerre shared…

My heart is full this morning with the goodness of God. Thank You, Lord. Last week, I noticed that I was doing all the things that I was called to do but I was lacking tenderness, no softness. I know we’re not supposed to live by a feeling. But if you do all that you do and it feels like there’s a wall there and it’s not heartfelt, then it’s just dead. So I asked the Lord to revive me and to make me tenderhearted again. Yesterday we were praying about enlarging God’s territory and at the very end all of a sudden I began to weep and just get down in my spirit and I prayed the prayer from my heart. “Enlarge Yourself, Lord, in my territory, in my heart.” That should be a cry of our hearts for all of us. From one degree of glory to another. I found myself more tender. I don’t know how to explain it, but more tenderhearted, more sensitive to the Spirit. So if that’s something that you’re working with, just ask Him “Make me more tender, Father, more sensitive to You.”

This morning I woke up with an old song in my heart. This was the first song I ever played outside for a little covenant church in our neighborhood and it was a precious time. When I got to the second verse, I became overwhelmed with His goodness and overwhelmed with the reality of a relationship with Him. Not just walking down the path doing all the “do’s,” but really letting Him speak to us and touch us.

I’ve been praying about some other things that He has led me to pray about. One of them is I desire for the word of knowledge to be manifest in my ministry. Sometimes I walk in the word of wisdom and I love that and am thankful for that, but I feel a need for the word of knowledge to set the captives free. So I asked Him for that this morning. And I believe that I receive… to have Him and His power flow through us, not just speaking words but seeing manifestations of His power. Amen? And seeing the captives go free with joy.

I said all that just to remind us, I guess, He brings all things to remembrance so listen for Him. Communicate with Him. Love on Him. Worship Him. But then wait sometimes and see what He has to say to you. Nobody can say the most beautiful things to you the way God does. Nobody can edify you the way God can. Nobody knows you better, not even yourself… you don’t even know yourself the way God knows you. So I’ll just sing this little song “In the Garden.”

♪ I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear, falling on my ear
Son of God discloses
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
He speaks and the sound of His voice
Is so sweet that the birds they hush their singing
And the melody that He sends to me
Within my heart is still ringing
And, and He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me that I am His own
I’d stay in the garden with Him
‘Tho the night around me is falling
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am His own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known ♪

Speaking of going back a ways, I want to share a confession that John Osteen put out years ago about healing. Lately it seems we’ve been praying so much for the whole body of Christ. This morning I wanted to bring it in a little and speak some things over our natural bodies.

Healing Confession by John Osteen

Father, Your Word says, “I will take sickness from the midst of thee … the number of thy days I will fulfill,” Exodus 23:25, 26. Therefore, I refuse to die before my time. I will not die one day nor one second before I should. You have promised me “long life” and I will settle for nothing less. I will not have a heart attack nor a stroke. I will not be cut down by the enemy in any way. The number of my days shall be fulfilled by the loving care of my Heavenly Father. My family needs me. The church needs me. The body of Christ needs me. Therefore, I shall stay in this body my full allotted time.

“Christ hath redeemed me from the curse of the law,” Gal. 3:13. “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,” Eph. 1:7. “Unto Him that loveth us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood,” Rev. 1:5.

Lord, the curse of the law is for those who are guilty of sin. They can expect sickness and disease, but not me. I am declared “not guilty” because I am justified by Jesus’ blood. Lord, look on me and search me. Can you find any trace of sin left after the blood of Your Son has cleaned me? Can You condemn me? Ask and search through all heaven and hell and see if there is any record of any transgression against me. Check your own memory, which is infinite, and You will say, “I have no remembrance of your ever having been charged with one sin.” “There sins and iniquities will I remember no more,” Hebrews 10:17.

Shall not the judge of the earth do right? Will I, who have no sins against me and am not guilty of breaking Your law, have to bear its curse of sickness and disease? Shall one of Your promises fail? No! Because I am “not guilty.” I am the “righteousness of God.” You have taken sickness away from the midst of me, and the number of my days You will fulfill. I am redeemed from the curse of the law by Christ Jesus and His precious blood! Satan, I resist you in the name of Jesus! God is my defense. Go! in Jesus’ name.

“That by (going through) death He might bring to naught (zero) and make of no effect him who had the power of death, that is, the devil” (Heb. 2:14. “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold I am alive forevermore, amen, and have the keys of hades and of death” Rev. 1:18.

Father, who has the power of death? Your Word says Satan did have but now Your Son Jesus has the keys of death. He has the power of death. He took those keys by His mighty power when He descended into the lower parts of the earth. He is Lord over death! I cannot die until He personally turns the key. I boldly say that He will not turn the key until my days are fulfilled. I am Your child. I am joined with You in reaching this lost world with the Gospel. No demon nor devil can kill me. No disease or sickness can kill me. I cannot die until my Savior, who loved me and redeemed me, says it is time. Therefore, I fear not! God is in charge. I will live on and on doing the work of Jesus, and when it is time, I will just fall asleep in Him. All sickness has left my body. You, O Lord, have taken sickness away from the midst of me.

“Who hath delivered (me) from the power of darkness, and hath translated (me) into the kingdom of His dear Son” Col. 1:13.

I boldly confess before Your throne that I have resisted the devil and he has fled from me, taking all his symptoms with him. He has nothing on me. He has no power over me!

“With His stripes I am healed” Isaiah 53:5.

Father, I say this boldly, not on the basis of sight, feeling, or symptoms, but rather in the face of them, by His stripes I am healed. I believe this in my heart and say it with my mouth, and it is mine.

I walk in divine health. I have no sickness, no weakness. God is the strength of my life. I will do the work of God joyfully and successfully. Because I am healed, I will believe, act, and talk like it. It is all based on Your Word, Father. You watch over Your Word to perform it and make it good (see Jer. 1:12).

I cannot die until He personally turns the key! God is in church. I will live on and on doing the work of Jesus, and when it is time, I will just fall asleep in Him. All sickness has left my body. You, O Lord, have taken sickness away from the midst of me.

He says it to us in His Word. This is the Word. He walks with me and talks with me and tells me I am His own.

Jerre shared…

I remember the very first time I heard the Lord, He just said my name. He said, “Jerre!” and I fell on the bed crying. He knew my name!

You know connection has a lot to do with manifestation. Connection has to do with what Jerre is talking about. Communion. Where you are connected to God. And He’s connected to you. The blood of Jesus caused that to be. It was the blood that connected you to the Father in an unbreakable bond, an inseparable bond. The Bible says nothing shall separate us from the love of God. And it goes on to list all the different things it possibly could have, but nothing shall separate us from His love. And when we don’t feel like God is connected to us, that’s not something that is real. That is a lie. That is something that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and His communion with you. It could be sin that does that. It could be strife. It could be any number of things that can separate you in your mind from Him.

But know this that you are never disconnected from Him. When you received Christ in your heart and accepted the blood of Jesus as the sacrifice for your sin, that connection was created and your perception of that connection is not relative to whether it exists or not. I heard somebody recently call into a Christian radio show and say, “I don’t feel connected to God. I don’t feel like I have a communion with God.” I heard that and I thought, “How many people out there are like that… They’re there, they go to church but they don’t feel like they’re connected.” It’s more than you think.

But I’m here to tell you this, that it’s not an issue of whether you’re connected or not. You need to resolve that issue right now once and for all. You need to know in your heart and in your mind that … believe that to be true. Because that’s what the Word says. But know this: it’s kind of like a radio. You turn the dial and hear all the fuzz and then all of a sudden you hear a radio station and as you turn the dial, it gets stronger. Then all of a sudden, boom, it’s really clear and bold. You’re connected. That’s what connection is all about. It’s about finding the Holy Spirit is there to lead you on the path of righteousness for His name’s sake. He leads you into that place where He’s connected in communion with you. It could be a song or it could be just a word in the scripture where it comes to you at a time when you least expect it. And you take hold of it.

I said all that to say this. That when it comes to healing, that’s what it is. It’s not that God needs to heal you. It’s that you are healed and you’re not dialed into that healing. You see, all that Jesus did on the cross is done and completed. Absolute. Finished. Period. It is done. So when Jesus was on the cross and He said, “It is finished,” that’s what He meant. Redemption. It’s complete. Finished. And all we need to do is just connect with God. And when we connect with God, He becomes real to us. And His words become real to us so that when that scripture says that Himself bore our sicknesses and carried our disease, that connection makes that real to us. And it rises up within our spirit and our spirit takes ascendency, it ascends to that place. And it makes that connection with God and the reality of that truth manifests in your life. We’re not in a place reaching for healing. We don’t need to reach for something that has already been given.

Someone might say, “That’s great but you don’t understand. I’ve got symptoms in my body and I’ve got this and that…” Well this is what the Holy Spirit has to say about that. You got healing and you’ve got that. That connection is so critical in the process of faith. Because the communion you have that you know that He knows your voice, and that when you pray you believe that He hears you. And if you know that He loves you and hears you then you also know that whatever you ask in His name it shall be. And then you hold fast to that. Then the Holy Spirit says to you in your time of need, “what I bore, you need not bear.” And that drops in your spirit. You know you’ve heard from heaven. And tears come from your eyes because you know God is speaking to your heart that “I’ve been made whole.” Then from that point on you start walking differently. You’re not paying attention to symptoms. You’re paying attention to the truth of the Holy Spirit that spoke to your heart that said that I bore your sickness and carried your disease. And it is that holding on and it is that communion that brings you into the fullness of your miracle. It’s holding on to know that I care for you and no weapon formed against you will prosper. It’s holding on to you in your time when you feel worthless and you don’t feel like you’ve prayed enough or you feel like you’ve been to church enough or you feel like you haven’t done enough. But those feelings subside because you know that He loves you and it doesn’t matter whether I did those things.

“Thus saith the Lord, all that matters is My love for you and your revelation of that love. For if you know that I love you, then you will relax and you will know that I am God and that I am more than enough and I’ll provide all sufficiency in all things. And on the day when fear comes knocking on your door, My presence will be there like a flood and it will overwhelm all that darkness that tries to come. And your mind will take hold of that and it’ll pass you through the darkness into the light. For you’ll lean not on your own understanding but you will acknowledge Me in your way. And I will direct your path. I will direct your path. And on that path is life abundant and on that path is all sufficiency in all things. And on that path is the grace necessary to accomplish everything in the day. And tomorrow and the next and in the next. So see today is the day of salvation and today is the day of walking in wholeness and today is the day to walk in joy and confidence and know that I am God. That I am greater than all things in this earth and nothing shall separate Me from you. And that connection will never stop because I love you. Because I love you. So take hold of that and know that I am God. And that I am ever present with you and no matter how you feel in your day, know that I love you. And that’s all you need to know. Because if you know I love you then you know I’ll take care of you. And you’ll know I’ll meet all your needs according to My riches, not your riches… My riches in glory. And my riches are far beyond all you can imagine or think. It’s full of joy. It’s full of provision. It’s full of health. It’s full of all things that you need. And it is this grace and it is this word that you bring to the world. The lost and dying world. For it is this that they desire most. To be free from fear, from shame, from the darkness of this world. And it is that light that you bring to the world. So rise up. Know that I am God. Get excited about the fact that I care for you. And know this: I will never leave you or forsake you.”

I have this old song on my heart. It goes so well with this.
