Prayer Summary for February 11

Prayed…

Father, we thank You for Your wonderful presence, today
We are so grateful that You never leave us, nor forsake us
It is such an honor and privilege to be called sons of God
Thank You for calling us, to such a time as this
You are separating us unto You-by Your precious Holy Spirit
Hallelujah to the Lamb of God!

The following excerpt was taken from His Life, His Sermons, His Boldness of Faith by John G. Lake:

The Power of Consecration to Principle

The real purpose of becoming a Christian is not to save yourself from hell, or be saved to go to heaven. It is to become a child of God, with the character of Jesus Christ, to stand before men, pledged unto the uttermost, “even unto death,” by refusing to sin, refusing to bow your head in shame, preferring to die rather than dishonor the Son of God.

If the character of Jesus Christ has entered into you and into me, then it has made us like Him in purpose. It has made us like Him in fact. Bless God! His Spirit is imparted to us. Bless God for that same unquenchable fidelity that characterized the Son of God.

“BE THOU FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH, AND I WILL GIVE THEE A CROWN OF LIVE” [Revelation 2:10].

Successful Christian life rests on three essentials:

First: A knowledge of the teaching of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Whose words are the final authority, the bar where every question must be brought for final decision. The words of every other must be measured, and their value determined by their statements of Jesus Christ. “In him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily” [Colossians 2:9].

Second: Consecration to do all the will of God as declared by the Lord Jesus.

Third: Recognition of the Holy Spirit as revealer, guide, interpreter, teacher and empowerer. For without the presence of the Spirit of God in our hearts, our consecration would be valueless. We would not be able to live it and without a knowledge of the teaching of Jesus, our consecration would be non-intelligent.

Declaring a shift and a hunger to increase in more of You
Our hearts would begin to yearn for your presence Lord-we want more of You
That Your presence would be manifested around and through us
God, You alone are our help-You are our prosperity, health, wealth, wholeness, and our strength
Everything that we need is in You!
You have made a way where there was no way!
We give you glory and honor, and we magnify Your name
Pleading the blood of Jesus over every detail and over every plan you have for us today
Looking to You, Jesus-our eyes are fixed on You
Jesus, the name above every other name, You are worthy of our praise
We thank You, Lord, that You are never changing and always the same
Father, You are everything to us; You are our hearts desire
There is help, protection, salvation, and strength in You
We are overcomers-there is power, endurance, and all sufficiency in You
Our every need is met; You are the word of truth, deliverance, health, and peace
There is a change that will be taking place-changed by the authority of Your precious Holy Word
Directions will be changed, and transfers will begin to take place
Parts, hearts, hands, feet, eyes, and ears are subject to change by the blood of Jesus
Holding fast to Your promises and Your provision for us, for our families, and for the body of Christ
We contend that You are holy and You are worthy to be praised
Declaring transfers today-for every body, ministry, and every position of authority
The church will be moving ahead from one degree of glory to another
Hearts are changing for You, for Your will and plan, Lord
There will be a marked difference and turn-a transformation today!
Eyes would begin to see more clearly, ears would hear what is spoken from heaven
We will finish our race and hear, “Well done thy good and faithful servant”
