Prayer Summary for December 20

Scripture Focus…

(1) Now in the church (assembly) at Antioch there were prophets (inspired interpreters of the will and purposes of God) and teachers: Barnabas, Symeon who was called Niger [Black], Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen a member of the court of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. (2) While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Separate now for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them. (3) Then after fasting and praying, they put their hands on them and sent them away. (4) So then, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from [that port] they sailed away to Cyprus. (5) When they arrived at Salamis, they preached the Word of God [concerning the attainment through Christ of salvation in the kingdom of God] in the synagogues of the Jews. And they had John [Mark] as an attendant to assist them. (6) When they had passed through the entire island of Cyprus as far as Paphos, they came upon a certain Jewish wizard or sorcerer, a false prophet named Bar-Jesus. (7) He was closely associated with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, who was an intelligent and sensible man of sound understanding; he summoned to him Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the Word of God [concerning salvation in the kingdom of God attained through Christ]. (8) But Elymas the wise man—for that is the translation of his name [which he had given himself]—opposed them, seeking to keep the proconsul from accepting the faith. (9) But Saul, who is also called Paul, filled with and controlled by the Holy Spirit, looked steadily at [Elymas] (10) And said, You master in every form of deception and recklessness, unscrupulousness, and wickedness, you son of the devil, you enemy of everything that is upright and good, will you never stop perverting and making crooked the straight paths of the Lord and plotting against His saving purposes? (11) And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind, [so blind that you will be] unable to see the sun for a time. Instantly there fell upon him a mist and a darkness, and he groped about seeking persons who would lead him by the hand. (12) Then the proconsul believed (became a Christian) when he saw what had occurred, for he was astonished and deeply touched at the teaching concerning the Lord and from Him.

Prayed…

Thank You for Your manifest presence
Your presence is heaven to us
We see things through Your eyes in Your presence
By the Spirit we take authority over the enemy
We refuse deception that is trying to operate in the government and any positions of authority
Taking authority over every negative thing that has tried to come against the Body!
We will not settle for that!
We come by the blood, uproot you, and stop you in your way
Spirit of recklessness, we call you down and call you out!
We will not stand for any form of deception!
Today, we draw a blood-line around the Church and every member of the family
Strife, we come against you and declare you have no place
The Word of God and the blood is against you!
We pray for some things to break through and doors and locks to be opened
Change, rearrange, and move us in the right way
The future depends on our prayers and our answer to the call!
We turn lack around into prosperity
The hold of lack is broken off of the Church!
By Your Spirit our bodies are strong and full of joy!
We are equipped to fulfill and declare Your freedom to all!
Praying over families in and out of the Church
Lord, we lift up those who don’t know You
In Jesus’ name, the blinders are coming off their eyes
Let Your light and revelation flow in fullness in this time
Father, we pray for supernatural boldness and an open door for believers to declare Your glory in their families
We lift up families that are in the Church
There are strongholds that must come down in Jesus’ name!
The blood of Jesus is against that!
Praying for men to take their places as heads of families
We pray over the places that families must occupy in the Body!
For them to come up and bring their supply
Every joint supplying and stepping into their ministry
Thank You for the body of Christ
We thank You for the increase of Your strength, peace, and joy
Holy Spirit we need more of You so we yield our hearts in a greater way
Hearing the Lord say, “I am pulling the plug on doubt!”
We thank You Lord for always having a good plan
Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!
