Prayer Summary for August 18

The following prayer petition regarding the church Eglise La Bonne Novelle (Nice, France) was read during Morning Prayer:

Dear Father,

You have granted us a free access to Your presence, and I thank You deeply for it.

I stand before You knowing that I have favor with You and that You have intended to expand Your reign through me in this hour.

According to 1 Sam. 1 : 27 (***) Est. 7 : 3 (***), this is the petition I present to You :

The City Council has not granted us the permission to rent the building You led us to. This prevents Your plan in the French speaking world to move forward, this diminishes our influence for our generation, this renders us less efficient that what we will be with a building, this delays the preaching of the Gospel on Internet and on TV, this makes the people we witness to suspicious of us because we don’t have a permanent address, this doesn’t enable us to rear the children in Your admonition.

I cannot accept the City Council’s answer. According to 2 Cor. 1:20-22 (***) Your have said “Yes” and “Amen” to the promise of a building. And this one fits us for the moment, and all the doors have opened for this one, including the heart of the owner.

Therefore, I’m claiming all the resources You have at Your disposal to change this answer. I’m asking You to change the minds of the people involved in this decision making at the City Council, within the legal time frame. Impress Your will on their hearts, specially of the Mayor M.r Estrosi, of Mrs. Gilletta, Mr. Heroguelle and of Mr. Verola. May Your fear come upon them, even in their sleep. Do not give them rest.

You are the only One who can speak to the hearts of men and women, and I’m expecting You to tell them what You have told me : Yes and Amen. Make Yourself known here in Nice!

What an honor to approach You and to serve You! You deserve our highest praises. Merci

*** 1 Sam. 1:27 …and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him…
*** Esther 7:3 … If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request…
*** 2 Cor. 1:20-22 (The Message)
Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, God’s Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. God affirms us, making us a sure thing in Christ, putting His Yes within us. By His Spirit He has stamped us with His eternal pledge—a sure beginning of what He is destined to complete.

Prayed…

Thank You, Lord, we are so thankful that we have this opportunity to come before You, today
We are covered, washed, protected, and cleansed in the precious blood of Jesus
You have brought us together in one accord
It is not about what we have done, but what You have done through Your Son on the cross
The blood of Jesus is continually opening doors of opportunity for us
Your mercy, kindness, and love are following us all the days of our lives
Thank You, Jesus, that You were so faithful all the way to the end, and that You are seated at the right hand of the Father
That same power that raised You from the dead is operating in and through us today
The truth of Your Word that has been spoken is coming to pass in these days
We praise, magnify, and glorify Your wonderful name
You are so worthy of honor and praise, and we put all of our trust in You
Thank You for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit
We need You more today, Lord, than ever before
You, Father, are preparing, restoring, and making a way where there seems to be no way
Jesus, You are the way-maker
You are making all things new, and You are restoring them to be even better than before
There are ways that need to be made straight, so we call You to clear up and clear out in Jesus’ name!
Declaring that those bridge-ways that connect one place to another will be built up and made new again
We will continually get ourselves on the right tracks and will move in those right ways
The best is still yet to come, beyond what we have ever seen or heard
We lean not on our own understanding, but we trust in You all the way through
Calling for stability and strength in the body of Christ today
Jesus, be Jesus in and through us, none of us, but all of You, Lord
We reverence and honor You, Father
Thank You for those things that You have called us to walk out; You are leading and guiding us
Declaring some things to be changed and rearranged in Jesus’ name!
The body of Christ is on the move, moving up and moving out!
We ask You today for an even greater anointing to do what You have called us to do, Father
Calling and seeking those things by faith
Assembling together in one accord, in agreement with Your Word
We will be deliberate in our speech, line up our words, and line up our feet, Father
Every limitation, be removed in Jesus’ name!
Declaring that the Church is even more aware of what it has been called to do
There is a right way and a wrong way, but the Holy Spirit is leading and guiding our steps today
We stand on what You have said in Your Word, Father
It is the glory, the presence, and the anointing working on the inside of us
We walk by faith and not by sight!
There is liberty and freedom in the will and plan of the Father
Calling for an alignment in the body of Christ today!
We hold fast to Your Word, and Your truth is setting us free
There is protection and direction when we abide in the shadow of the almighty
Father, we know that You are the way, the truth, and the life
Jesus, You are the King of Kings and the great I Am
There is no other name but the name of Jesus!
In that name—Jesus—there is deliverance and victory
All things are possible in and through You, Father
Thank You, Father, for the peace that surpasses all understanding
Covering those situations with the blood of Jesus
We speak peace to that situation and ask that Your anointing would be upon it
Calling those things to calm down in Jesus’ name!
Glory, Hallelujah!
