Ms. Annie led us singing I Have Decided to Follow Jesus

Pastor Ray…

Hallelujah. We are not turning back and we are not going back.

A lot of times, Ms. Annie will come in and say “I have two loaves and a fish.” We give what we have. We are faithful.

Scripture focus…

(5–6) When Jesus looked out and saw that a large crowd had arrived, he said to Philip, “Where can we buy bread to feed these people?” He said this to stretch Philip’s faith. He already knew what he was going to do. (7) Philip answered, “Two hundred silver pieces wouldn’t be enough to buy bread for each person to get a piece.” (8–9) One of the disciples—it was Andrew, brother to Simon Peter—said, “There’s a little boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish. But that’s a drop in the bucket for a crowd like this.” (10–11) Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” There was a nice carpet of green grass in this place. They sat down, about five thousand of them. Then Jesus took the bread and, having given thanks, gave it to those who were seated. He did the same with the fish. All ate as much as they wanted. (12–13) When the people had eaten their fill, he said to his disciples, “Gather the leftovers so nothing is wasted.” They went to work and filled twelve large baskets with leftovers from the five barley loaves. John 6:5–13 (MSG)

If you look at it like this, there were almost 5,000 miracles that took place that day. It was a continual miracle after miracle after miracle. He didn’t just multiply the fish and the bread in one shot. It was a continual miracle. But afterwards He said to pick up the leftovers so they wouldn’t go to waste. I don’t know, I just always thought there were some fish and some bread left over. But that’s not true. There was no fish. There was just bread. Did you ever see that in the Word? (ha, ha, ha)

Maybe it was because the fish would spoil? I don’t know. He just multiplied the exact amount needed for the fish to feed the people and then there were 12 baskets left over of bread. It’s just interesting. There must be some other message in that.

That’s just a little hors d’oeuvres to get your brain going.

Ms. Annie…

I heard a speculation. The bread was gathered together and given to the little boy to take home so his family was blessed. That’s a cool thought.

The following excerpt was taken from The Blood and the Cross by Andrew Murray:

The blood of Christ gives you a share in the love, the guidance, and the protection of God. Oh, if you only understood this – the God who has provided the blood of His Son, who has received you because of that blood – He has become your God. He who has given His Son for you, how shall He not with Him also freely give you all things? This is the blessings and power of the blood – it brings you into an eternal covenant with God: He becomes your leader and your portion. When the Israelite had sprinkled the blood, he knew that he was safe. God had given him a promise of protection, and he was able trustfully to await the terrible visit of the destroying angel. He could listen peacefully to the great cry in the streets around him. His safety lay in God, who had said: “When I see the blood, I will pass over you.”

How much more may we, who now have not the blood of an earthly lamb but that of the Lamb of God from heaven—how much more may we be assured of our redemption? You who read this, give, I pray you, an answer to the question I now ask: “Have you this assurance? Are you truly sheltered from the day of wrath, under the protection of the blood? Have you the assurance that you also have been redeemed by that blood? If not, hasten, without delay, to receive this blessing. The danger is so terrible – the redemption is so glorious. The conditions are so full of grace. Let nothing keep you back from obtaining a share in it. You must be sure about it, or you will have no rest for your soul.

It is recorded that on the Passover night, there was an old grey-haired man who lived in the house of his firstborn son, and he himself was the firstborn son of his father. His son also had a firstborn son. Thus, there were three firstborn sons in the house who all must die if the destroying angel entered the house. The old man was lying on his bed sick, but he heard with interest everything his son told him about God’s command to Moses. Towards evening he was often restless, as he thought of their danger, and he said: My son, are you sure that you have done everything that has been prescribed?’ “His answer was: “Yes, father, everything.” For a moment he was satisfied. Then he asked again: “Are you sure? Has the blood been sprinkled on the door?” Again the answer was: “Yes, father, everything has been done according to the command.” The nearer it came to midnight, the more restless he became. Finally, he cried out: “My son, carry me out if you please, that I may see it myself, and then I can rest.” The son took his father up and carried him to where he could see the blood on the side posts and the lintel. “Now I am satisfied,” he cried. “Thank God! Now I know that I am safe!”

My reader, can you say that – “Thank God, now l know that I am safe. I know that the blood was shed for me and has been sprinkled on me”?

Pastor Ray…

That has to be our belief. And it is by faith. It was by faith for them. But once the father saw the blood then he had absolute rest knowing that his household would be protected.

It’s the blood of Jesus shed on the Cross, we keep our eyes forward on the Cross, keep them on the blood that was shed for us and let the past be past. But know that in that blood of Jesus we are safe. There is safety.

We know the Bible says we’ve overcome by that precious blood because You’ve overcome on our behalf. Thank You for the power of the precious blood this morning. We see it, take hold of it by faith, believe the blood of Jesus is over each and every one of us here in the chapel, over our families, our church Living Word. We declare the blood of Jesus and believe the power of the blood is over this ministry. We declare the blood of Jesus over our pastors Mac and Lynne. We believe, use it by faith and cover them, Your plan for them, their steps that You are with them Father and revelation for them.

We cover every aspect of Your plan for them and for us. As members of this body we are protected, we’re directed. There is wholeness and health and restoration and fullness in and through the power of the blood. Thank You for the blood. Hallelujah.

I want to be sure we can say… Let’s say this together: “Thank God, now I know that I am safe, I know that the blood was shed for me and has been sprinkled on me.” You know, Andrew Murray goes into a plea, “Please, be sure that you know.” I mean he is on it. Whew.

So, I want us to have that confidence this morning that we’re protected, surrounded, covered by that precious blood so that no weapon formed against us can prosper, no attack from the enemy can get through, no hidden things that would try to block our way or destroy us in any way – cannot do it because of the power of that precious holy blood. Thank You.

This nation, the United States of America, is covered in the blood of Jesus. And we see it from shore to shore to shore, top to bottom, side to side, over every state in the United States. We plead the blood, that precious holy blood over our president, over the leaders of our country and over all of those that lead in every way, over every church that calls You Lord and Savior. We plead the blood of the churches, over the pastors, over all five-fold ministry gifts in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah!

We plead the blood over our borders, the waterways, the airways, trains, cars, buses, whatever in Jesus’ name. We are protected by the blood. Thank You for it, Lord.

Ms. Annie led us singing We’re Protected By the Blood

Pastor Ray…

Thank You for the blood, Lord. All cares have to go because of the blood. Have to go, got to leave because the blood protects us. There is protection in it from every care, all anxieties, questions that we seemingly have no answers for.
Questions, concern about tomorrow, the days to come. Oh, thank You for the power of the precious blood working all the time. It’s cleansing always, always restoring, always. Such power, we magnify the blood this morning in our hearts. Thank You for the blood.

Oh, the blood of Jesus, the blood of Jesus. We apply it right there over that one and that one and that one, that situation and those situations and those plans, those steps, those ways.

Aligning things up, lined up by the blood. Thank You, Lord. Pictures of health and pictures of wealth, pictures of change, pictures of turnarounds and changes, rearranging, breaking old patterns, old ruts – breaking their hold and by the blood taking new steps by faith and moving ahead eyes on the Cross to press ahead, to contend for greater, to move further. Thank You, Father.

It kind of comes and then it goes but I keep having Maranatha, the school, it keeps coming up. The blood of Jesus, we apply it over the school. Ms. Annie, why don’t you pray over the school.

Ms. Annie…

Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over Maranatha Christian Academy, over the teachers, the administrators, the aids, the coaches, every part of the staff, over every student that is there, over the families, the parents, their siblings. Father, we thank You that You have a destiny and a plan that You are fulfilling through that School. You are raising up a mighty army to follow You and serve You.

Lord, we pray that Your Word would be exalted more and more and more and more in the children, that Your Words would ever be upon their lips, that Your Words would be teaching them. They have more wisdom than all of their teachers because they understand Your precepts, Lord. They have more understanding than all their elders because they love Your law and they meditate in Your laws day and night and it causes them to prosper and succeed.

Oh, we thank You, Lord, that Your Wisdom is the principle thing. And so the children of that school are learning skillful and godly wisdom. They meditate on Your Words day and night and they do not depart from Your Law in Jesus’ name.

The wisdom that comes from You, Lord, is ruling and reigning at Maranatha Christian Academy and the wisdom of this world is departing from that place that any contamination that would try to infiltrate anyone’s thinking is coming to nothing by the Words of God. The Words of God rise up and have the preeminence in Maranatha Christian Academy. We thank You that they are strong and do exploits. The children of that school know their God and they are strong and they do exploits for You, they rise up! They rise up! They rise up and they confound those that oppose them.

We thank You, Father, that one generation declares Your works to another! Jesus is exalted! Jesus is exalted! Jesus is Lord over every aspect of Maranatha Christian Academy. Jesus rules and reigns over every child, over every lesson.

Father, we thank You for Your Holy Spirit who comes in and applies His Holy fire to every lesson, every math lesson, every physics lesson, every reading lesson, every chemistry lesson. The Holy Spirit fire is applied and supernatural insights, supernatural insights come to the children and the teacher, Lord, into the working of Your universe, into the workings of Your Kingdom. They have MORE wisdom than the world! Just like Daniel and the three Hebrew children, Lord. They don’t eat of the delicacies of this Babylonian system. But their countenance shines! They are radiant in the glory of the Lord! They have more wisdom than the wisdom of the world because they are seeking Your delicacies! Oh, Your Words are found and they do eat them. You Words are the joy and rejoicing of their heart.

Lord, we thank You that when Your judgments are in the earth the inhabitance learn Your righteousness. So, Your righteous judgments are declared every day through Your Word at Maranatha Christian Academy and all the inhabitants thereof learn Your righteousness, Lord. It sets them above! It sets them on high! You set them on high who know and understand Your name!

Let it be said “Oh, where did they learn this wisdom? Where did they learn this wisdom?” They learned it from You Lord! They are learning it every day from You! They bind Your Word upon their hearts Lord. They tie it around their necks. They write it on their hands, Lord. They fix it on the tablets of their heart. And Your Word every day causes them to prosper and succeed. When they lie down, when they rise up, when they sit in their house, when they walk in their way, Your Words have the preeminence!

Hallelujah, hallelujah, and we plead the blood of Jesus over them for protection. There is protection over the school, Maranatha Christian Academy, over the students. The blood of Jesus is over the school. The fire of God is like a wall around it, chariots of fire! And the glory is in the midst of it, the glory of God.

Father, I pray for the parents who have sacrificed financially. They have paid a price, Lord. And I thank You that they will receive the harvest in their seed, in their children who are Your heritage! Who are their heritage! That those children are rising up like a mighty, mighty, mighty army Lord! And they are going forth to declare You to the next generation.

Children are a heritage of the Lord! Happy is the man whose quiver is full of them! Oh, our quiver, Lord! There is a quiver full of mighty arrows of the Lord at Maranatha Christian Academy. Oh, they shall not be ashamed when they contend with the enemy at the gate! The arrows of the Lord! The arrows of the Lord!

Open our eyes, Lord, that we might see that there be more with us than be with them. Open their eyes that they might see that there be more with them than be in the world because the Mighty Lord of Hosts, the God of Angel Armies is going with them, He is going around them! No one who puts their trust in You will be put to shame, Lord.

Pastor Ray…

I saw us going up and down the hallways in the school. When we come to a room we turn our attention, send that supply of the Holy Spirit right there into that classroom. So many other churches are represented through the families that have sent their children here under the teachings, under the direction of the Holy Spirit here at MCA. So many different churches are represented, different families, families that don’t go here at least yet but the children can move the hearts of the parents so quickly and change their hearts, change their minds, change their plans. We just thank You, Lord. Thank You for that covering. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. Hallelujah.

Ms. Annie led us singing in tongues…

Ms. Cindy…

I want to declare Psalm 139 over the students at Maranatha that they would know their Father is always with them and He intimately knows and cares about everything they are going through.

(1) O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.
(2) You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
(3) You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do.
(4) You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord.
(5) You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.
(6) Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!

(7) I can never escape from your Spirit!  I can never get away from your presence!
(8) If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there.
(9) If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
(10) even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.
(11) I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night—
(12) but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.
To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you.

(13) You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
(14) Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
(15) You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
(16) You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

(17) How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!
(18) I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!
Psalm 139:1-18 (NLT)

We declare in Jesus’ name that the children at Maranatha know who they are. They know they are surrounded and hedged about with the presence of God. They know God cares for them and He knows all of their troubles and has already provided for them ways of escape.

They are not trying to hide from God but they are running to God because Your presence overwhelms them and comforts them. You give them guidance. Even in the darkness, Father, You illumine their darkness that they always know the truth and they walk in the truth and that truth sets them free every single time – because Your presence is with them, Father.

And the words of the enemy find no place in their ears. So, they come to You under any and all circumstances and say “Search me, O God, and know my heart. Test me and know if there are any anxious thoughts.”

Father, point out all lies and lead them along the path of everlasting life. I decree their footsteps are ordered of the Lord. They are following Your voice and they are not straying. No depression, no darkness, no deceiving spirits, no wickedness, no traps, temptations, or snares of the Devil can find any place in their life. They are firmly planted in Your house and walking, Lord, with You in the councils, in the guidance of their Shepherd, the One True voice of the Good Shepherd.

And, Father, they see the benefit, benefits that accompany salvation, the Truth that sets them free from any and all constraints of this world order.  They continue to walk in joy, in the hope to which they have been called – to know the One True God, life everlasting!

And they are beacons, great shining beacons! This last generation – thank You, Father, for the light that is coming out of them! Walking in the High Ways of the Lord! They shall not stumble of fall – gaining momentum. Grounded, grounded in the Word of God – the Word of God is their delight! In that Word they meditate day and night! And everything they do prospers!

Safety and Protection! Deliverance and Discernment! This generation is coming together unified – exercising all of Your council, preforming all or Your pleasure, and doing all of Your will! Because it’s in You – You are their Father working in them, even right now to will and to do!

We send that supply of the Spirit to every single student at Maranatha! Called! Great Grace to do what they are called to do! In this time! Right now!

Great! Great! Great! Great Exploits in the name of Jesus! They are planted in the house of the Lord. They flourish in the courts of our God! Growing like a palm tree – long lived, stately, upright, useful, and fruitful! Like the cedar – stable and indestructible! Oh, trees of righteousness planted in the house of the Lord and great is their peace and undisturbed composure in the name of Jesus.

Ms. Heather…

And we speak identity over them. Identity over every child – thank You, Father, in a world where they’re being spoken over with identity, gender confusion, depression, anxiety – we speak against all of that right now in the name of Jesus. We say that they are called for a purpose and they will recognize that purpose, and they will recognize the identity of their Father who created them for a purpose.

And so we speak against fake identity. We speak against all of those things, the things that would try to lift themselves, exalt themselves above God. Right now we speak against them, cast them out of their hearts in Jesus’ name. No, you cannot come in – into the hearts of our children. Right now they are called for a purpose and we declare that purpose over them now! We declare that they know that they are loved, they are called for a purpose, and that they are known, You know each one by name.

And so we declare that over them now and break depression, we break anxiety, we break thoughts of suicide, we break gender confusion, we break the power of homosexuality or thoughts about that – we break it now in the name of Jesus!

It is gone. It has no place here. In Jesus’ name, you cannot come in. You cannot whisper your lies into the ears of our children. You must leave in Jesus’ name. They are called and they know who they are.

And so right now we just firm up their hearts with the blood of Jesus. We protect it and we say they are called according to Your purpose and that they would know it. We plead the blood of Jesus over their hearts, minds, ears, eyes and we thank You, Father, that they know who they are, they know who they are and we declare that over them today in Jesus’ name.

Pastor Ray…

The church just put our new logo which is an open bible on all of the doors here at church. There are changes happening. I just saw today that there has to be. If there is no change, then we are just status quo. If we are not changing, we are dying.

Those things like our new logo reminds us and should that the Word is still the same, that the Word will always be the same, and it will always be what we are standing on. And when we are praying all this time, praying in tongues and lifting up Maranatha Christian Academy, they are under this church. They are under the Word. They are not just on their own. When we are covering them, we’re covering this whole ministry and declaring the Word will never change because the Word says it won’t change. God is still the same today as He was yesterday and He will always be the same. The blood works now, the blood worked in the past, and the blood works in the future.

And I just saw this. As we change some things like that, we are entering into new days. We could say greater days, better days, not the same old days but new days – not just the church but the school too. We’re going together and we’re going under our Pastors, Mac and Lynne.

We just thank You, Father, for it today. We see it. We take hold of it. We’re glad about change. We’re thankful for it and we’re putting the blood of Jesus over every change that’s happening now and will happen in the days and the weeks that are to come. An alignment by Your Spirit, Father, that things would go in the right way. Maybe there will still be some alterations and changes that must come but, Father, in Jesus’ name by the power of Your precious Holy Spirit covered in the blood, we believe that we are going in Your way, taking steps from one degree of glory to another. Thank You for it in Jesus’ name. Amen.
