Morning Prayer Summary for Wednesday, March 11, 2020

Ms. Annie led us singing He Leads Me By Still Waters

The following excerpt was taken from an article by Mario Murillo:

In the next few years, you will likely see social media virtually remove all preaching. Not only that, but there will be a concerted effort to marginalize the church in ways you never imagined. Does that mean that Bible-based Christianity is over in America? Absolutely not! You watch: God will come out of nowhere to meet this threat.

A few of them will be in pulpits. More of them will be in politics, business, science, law, entertainment, music, or a thousand other fields of endeavor. They will not introduce subjects—they will introduce eras.

No one will be able to buy them off or get them to change the subject. They will operate on a disquieting plane of holiness and consecration. I believe A. W. Tozer was describing them when he said, “They serve God and mankind from motives too high to be understood by the rank and file of religious retainers who today shuttle in and out of the sanctuary.”

Today they suffer. Their agony is what happens when worlds collide. They see their destiny. It’s big and dangerous. A part of them glories in the potential to know God intimately and represent Him bravely. They see themselves rebuking kings, tyrants, and warmongers. They see themselves commanding the transfer of the wealth of the wicked into the control of the righteous. (Isa. 60:5)

God is warring to save America. You must find your assignment in that war. But how can we know our assignment?

The secret to finding your assignment is your heart. God speaks to the heart and then the heart must control the mind. Today, many Spirit-filled believers are unwittingly involved in New Age practices. They relate to God as if He were some kind of “force” rather than a person.

Your assignment in the Army of God is your individual expression and extension of Christ’s destruction of the works of the Devil. You are a destroyer of the works of the Devil. God will give you a way to do it that is unique to you.

Pastor Ray…

He speaks to hearts. In nothing that we do, we cannot be religious about it or not be led by the Spirit about it.

Scripture focus…

(19) So [as the result of the Messiah’s intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives]. Isaiah 59:18–21 (AMPC)

In other words, He lifts up the standard. Thank You, Lord.

(1) Arise [from the depression (any kind of attack, any virus, whatever) and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]!

The Devil is trying at this time to get the Church to lie down. We say “No.”

(2) Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! Isaiah 60:1–2 (AMPC)

Pastor Ray…

We’re bright. We’re not depressed. We’re not walking in fear – Amen.

Thank You, Lord, for making us all different, for making each one of us have an individual call, and how You speak to each one of us in our heart of hearts and how then we are lifted. We can be bright. We know we are bright because it’s You.

We can do these things where there is a call for us to take our position in the army of God and know that we have an anointing working through us. It’s not us. It’s You. Thank You for it, Lord, today. You made us this way. We purpose in our hearts to do what You have given us to do with the giftings, the callings, the individuality. But then how it all works together. We’re compacted together by Your Spirit. Hallelujah.

Ms. Annie led us singing Holy Spirit, You are Welcome in This Place

Pastor Ray…

When you were singing that, it just reminded me of when Pastor Mac spoke on the weekend. He just went back in time over the years of this ministry. He said that over all of the history of Living Word it would seem like whenever we were about to step up into a new place, there would be lots and lots of warfare ramped up against it. And there has been that. So what do we believe? We’re stepping up and we’re stepping on over.

We have stepped over into more than enough. Then the Devil puts pressure to get us back from that. But we are not going back. We can’t go back. We don’t want to go back. We refuse to go back. We believe going ahead we’re stepping into greater moves of the Spirit of God. We’re not putting any limitations on it but just like we read, He comes and lifts up the standard, blows on the river.

Oh, thank You, Father. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for the way You move, how You lead us, and how You direct us. Thank You for moving on our hearts.

Things that need to be shaken, will be shaken. But we are not shaken. We are standing on the firm foundation of Your Word, Father.

Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Father. I was reminded of this. When you drive into the Church, in the parking lot you have the sign. On the back it says, “If you don’t quit, you win.” That’s exactly the vision so that those that drive by see it!

Just like in Habakkuk 2. The signs were put up around the city, on the temple, at gates of the city “The just shall live by his faith.” And all those who knew something about God knew what that meant and we see that too. “If you don’t quit, you win!”

Ms. Annie led us singing I Cannot Be Defeated

I cannot be defeated (No!)
And I will not quit
Redeemed by the blood of Jesus
I’ve been loosed from Satan’s pit
Jesus fought and He won the battle
And He gave it all to me
I cannot be defeated
I’m saved, I’m healed, I’m free!

I read this morning that the Corona virus conference was canceled because of the Corona virus. I am not making light of it but I just thought that was an interesting headline. Also, the Saint Patrick’s day parades are canceled in Ireland.

But we will not quit. If we just don’t quit… I mean we can follow those instructions, just keep moving.

Ms. Annie…

Paul said “None of these things move me. If I may finish my course and the ministry that the Lord gave me.” So, none of these things move us! We’re not moved by the reports of the world. We’re moved by the Word of God. Hallelujah!

Because I’m a covenant woman
Standing in the riches of my Lord and King
I’m a covenant woman, I’m committed to Him in everything!

I’m not moved by what I feel
I’m only moved by the Word that’s real
Word came to life, came to me

None of these things move us. We are not moved by what the world is moved by. We are only moved by the Word that’s real!

Pastor Ray…

The real world is the Church world that believes what the Word says.

Ms. Annie…

I’ve been thinking a lot about the Word. You realize we are in this bubble sort of here at our church where everybody believes in the Word and everybody’s committed to the Word. It’s “Living Word Christian Center” and we’re living by the living Word of God. But you get out there a little bit and you start seeing that not all believers even believe the Word. They don’t necessarily see how infallible it is and how important it is and what an answer it is and what a solid rock it is. I think that’s why I have been singing those old songs to myself this last week. I’ve just been going back to those old songs.

Build your house on the Rock
Build your house on the Rock
Build your house on the Rock and it will stand
There ain’t no power on this earth that can stand against God’s Word
We build your house on the Rock and it shall stand.

I have been thinking about how precious God’s Word is and it’s what we trust in. It’s the Rock we stand on. It’s alive and it’s powerful and how we have to go back to that. And that’s why we don’t have fear – because His Word is above fear. He’s exalted His Word even above His name. We have to hold onto His Word. We exalt His Word highly and esteem it! We lifted up His Word.

Just seeing the fear even in other believers or other Christians… How do you get them to see Christianity is not a religion, it’s Jesus. And Jesus is the Word. You got to put your feet down on the Word. You got to stand on the Word. I tried to be a Christian before I knew the Word and I was Ms. Flak-o Christian! Well you wouldn’t even call me a Christian really. The Word of God is what changes us from the inside out. The Holy Spirit empowers us but it’s the Word, it’s God’s Word we stand on!

There ain’t no power on this earth that can stand against God’s Word
Build your house on the Rock and it shall stand.

Ms. Marian…

The Word is a two-edged sword. Why? One of the edges is to cut down the enemy. The other edge is to cut down us – get that doubt, fear out of us. We can’t allow it. If you are reading your Word and the Word says “No fear” then you take that Word and cut that doubt away and it has to be cut away. We can’t live with doubt and fear in our lives. We won’t prosper that way.

Ms. Annie…

“Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word… the Word! the Word! Jesus is the Word that came. “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.”  Jesus, You are our Word, the Living Word that came to live in us and we put our feet down on the firm rock of Who You are – Your Word.

Your Word will ever be in our mouths. Your Words will ever be hidden in our hearts. Your Words will ever be going into our ears and every word that contradicts Your Word, we bind it and we cast it to the ground in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

We speak Your Word over this planet now. We say “Jesus, You are Lord over this planet!” Every knee will bow to You, Jesus! Where the word of the king is, there is power! There is power in Your Word, King Jesus, to break up that Corona Virus (COVID-19). We break it up by the power of Your Word and command it to dissipate. It’s all breaking up into little tiny sub-molecules and they are all being drifted away into nothingness.

You, Corona virus, go out into waste desolate places and you stay there in the name of Jesus (ha, ha, ha)! You cannot dwell in human bodies any longer! No man eat fruit of you again. Get out of here in Jesus’ name! Hallelujah!

It’s not our words that have power but it is His Words in our mouths! His Words in our mouths! We speak as kings and priests and where the Words of our King Jesus are, there is power! Hallelujah (ha, ha, ha)!

So, we build our house on the Rock
Build your house on the Rock
Build your house on the Rock and it will stand
There ain’t no power on this earth that can stand against God’s Word
We build your house on the Rock and it shall stand.

Pastor Ray…

Based on that, our words delivered from His Word changes everything!

when talking heads on the TV say “everything’s getting worse,” we can speak right back against those words that are trying to stir up fear and say what? “Shut up! Be still! Speak right!”

Ms. Marian…

We can say that because we are actually talking to the Devil. So we say
“Shut up!”

Pastor Ray…

Hallelujah. Thank You, Lord. Let’s all go through Psalm 91 together.

I dwell in the shelter of the Most High. I rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I say to my Lord, “You are my refuge and my fortress. My God in whom I trust.” Surely you will save me from the fowler’s snare, and from deadly pestilence. You cover me with your feathers, and under your wings I find refuge. Your faithfulness is my shield and my rampart. I will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrows that fly by day, nor the beast that stalks in the darkness, nor plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me. I will only observe with my eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If I say “The Lord is my refuge,” and I make the Most High my dwelling no harm will overtake me. No disaster will come near my tent, for you will command your angels concerning me to guide me in all my ways. They will lift me up in their hands, so I will tread on lion and the cobra. I will trample the great lion and the serpent. Because you LOVE me says the Lord, “I will rescue you.” You protect me, for I have the knowledge of You. I will call upon you, and you always answer me. You are with me in trouble. You will deliver me, and honor me with a long life. You satisfy me and give me salvation through Jesus Christ. l praise you and thank You in Jesus name.” Amen

Oooooohhhh! If I had a shofar, I would blow it (ha, ha, ha)! Oooooohhhh! Oh, there is freedom in the house, there is victory in the house, my house! Oooooohhhh! Hallelujah!

Jesus, be Jesus through us, in us, around us! All power, all authority, Oooooohhhh! Hallelujah!

Ms. Annie led us singing I Cannot be Defeated

I cannot be defeated (No!)
And I will not quit
Redeemed by the blood of Jesus
I’ve been loosed from Satan’s pit
Jesus fought and He won the battle
And He gave it all to me
I cannot be defeated
I’m saved, I’m healed, I’m free!

Ms. Annie…

We’re not quitting! We’re just getting started walking on the Gospel road! A highway shall be there. It shall be called the Way of Holiness! Only the redeemed shall walk upon it and we are the REDEEMED! We’re walking on God’s highway! And we’re going higher and higher and higher! Oh, Hallelujah!

And everybody that the Devil is trying to drag away to hell, we’re STOPPING THAT! And we are dragging them up the highway with us in Jesus’ name! Their going on the highway of God!

Pastor Ray…

Even the shout… There are words even in a sound we’ll give off by the Spirit, words that rearrange and stop and turn and open and close. The blood of Jesus, the blood, the blood, the blood!

Ms. Annie led us singing There Is Power in the Blood of Jesus

Pastor Ray…

You know we wash our hands. We keep our hands clean but we’ve been washed by something even greater and that’s the blood of the Lamb! Oh, my! Protected, washed, cleansed but the precious blood of the Lamb. We thank You for it, Lord. We walk surrounded by that blood, covered by the blood, and we overcome through that precious holy blood – now, today in Jesus’ name. Amen. Hallelujah. Thank You, Lord.
